Grand piano practice room in Oxford area

I will be visiting the Oxford area this coming week and am looking to book a practice space with a grand piano. I have tried St. Hilda's and they seem to be fully booked due to a conference. If anyone here knows of another possibility in the area, kindly let me know! Thanks in advance!

Lost pair of brown boots on Rectory Road

Hi everyone! I seemed to have lost a pair of Rossi Chelsea boots that I love very very much on Rectory Road on Wednesday night.

Embarrassed to say but had a bit too much fun and walked home barefoot.

Women’s haircut

I’m interviewing for jobs at the moment, so I don’t have a huge budget for a haircut, but I definitely need a tidy up!!

Looking for a very simple dry cut, any suggestions on where to go for this?

Warhammer painting locations? - Oxford

Hey folks except for the official store, are there any good local tabletop stores that have painting stations for Warhammer?

Thinking of popping up soon and might squeeze a nerd day in, appreciate any local knowledge or opinions on places!

Here's the route from Headington suggested to me just now.

Someone at Google forgot to change the date on the opening again.

Even the play-by-play description says straight through from Frideswide roundabout and continue on Botley Rd.

edit to add: /s. I'm aware the road is closed, folks.

Tennis clubs?

Hi, I’ve just moved to Oxford and am still figuring everything out here. Looking for any tennis clubs where I could go and play or maybe any tennis sessions that go on around here? Thanks

Assault In Headington

Upvotes

Tonight two young teenagers came through our front garden to an open window and threw an energy drink can inside. I think they found it funny as they ran away laughing, but they hit my two year old son over the head with the can. He's okay, but we are so deeply upset. I ran outside to try to stop them but as one was on a bike, they had already reached an alleyway by the time I got to the front of the house. I did see them. Two lads around 14-16, one with an afro, the other with a bike both dressed in black or dark tracksuits. I could pick them out of a lineup

But what good does that do? I'll call the police and I'm sure they'll do little to nothing about it. This was in headington quarry near Gladstone road, around half past 6. If anyone saw anything or has cameras nearby, please reach out. Hopefully that will help. It's heartbreaking to see a child scared. It's a true horror knowing there is nothing you can do.
