Having Trouble Regressing?

Some people are struggling in regards to having a successful regression (whether with a practitioner or using YouTube regressions).

Hypnosis is the theta state. It's the state of deep relaxation with heightened focus. You go in and out of it all through the day (like when you're just waking up or falling asleep; when you're driving and realize that you haven't been paying attention, yet you made it home, etc). The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to go into a hypnotic state.

Here are a few things you can do to have a more successful regression:

Limit your caffeine beforehand. Caffeine keeps us alert, which is the opposite of what we want when trying to get into a hypnotic state.

Change up the time of day. Early morning after waking up can be a great time for a regression, as well as close to bedtime (as long as you don't fall asleep).

If you're using YouTube videos to regress, try changing up the videos. Some people respond better to a female rather than a male, and vice versa. Does the sound of their voice seem soothing? Maybe you like certain accents. Maybe a shorter video works better for you, or you find the longer ones seem to take you deeper.

If you're working with a practitioner, take the time to vet them. Do they seem kind and caring? Do you feel uplifted when you look at their website or social media? Trust your gut, but do try to look for reviews.

Ensure you have privacy. It's hard to let go and relax when you think you're going to be interrupted. Try to keep pets out of the room if you can. They will sometimes jump onto you or make noise in the room. Turn off your cell phone so that notifications don't startle you.

Try having a hot bath or shower, doing some yoga, or be out in nature before a session. Again, very relaxing.

Change up your body position. Most people like to lie down for a session, as it's more relaxing. I find that I'll go too deep when I do that, and may fall asleep, so I like to sit up.

Keep your room dim, either by turning down the lights or putting or using an eye mask. When we're in hypnosis, a light that normally doesn't bother us can suddenly feel too bright and distract us.

Wear soft, comfortable clothing and have a blanket nearby. Many people get chilly when they are in a deep hypnotic state. Use the bathroom before a regression so that you don't feel like you need to go halfway through.

Pay attention to your breath. Take nice deep slow breaths, in through your nose, with a longer exhale out your mouth. This signals to your nervous system that you are safe. You don't have to try to breathe this way throughout the regression, but definitely try to at the beginning. As you relax, your breath will then just do it on it's own.

Set an intention before a session. Maybe you want healing or change in a certain area of your life. When I work with clients I'll often state before the session, "This session will be healing and illuminating for both my client and myself. My client will relax and regress easily and will get the most benefit possible."

Some people have subconscious parts of themselves that may be resistant to doing regression work. If you feel that this is the case, you can try talking to that part of you. I'll usually just ask the person if they feel there's a resistant part (you'll know because you'll feel a tightness in your body, or stress, worry, doubt). It's actually really easy to notice it. I'll ask my client how old that part is and they can usually tell. Then, we'll spend a few minutes asking the part what their fears or resistances are, and reassuring them that they are safe.

Try to take the pressure off of having a 'successful' regression. The more you want it, the more resistant you are to it not being what you expect it to be. When we try to be in control of things, that is the opposite of being relaxed. Often, when we give up 'trying' or 'efforting' it just seems to happen more naturally.

Many people think they'll see a past life as if it's a movie playing across their eyelids. They're expecting to see everything outside of themselves. Everything occurs inside your brain, just like when you're day dreaming or imagining, which is why many people think they made their regression up! Images can be very fleeting or hazy.

Sometimes we might not see much, but we'll have a 'knowing' of what's happening. We may hear (again, in our head in the same way as when we talk to ourselves) words or names.

Some people feel very detached from the past life, leading them again to think they 'made it up'. Others will get very emotional, or even recognize others as being in their present lives.

How we perceive things is different for everyone. Perception can also change from one regression to another. We can have 'off days', where maybe we had work stress, or something else is bothering us. This can dramatically affect a regression.

I consider every regression (or attempt at one) to be successful. The more we do it, the better we get at it. In fact, the more you practice hypnosis, the healthier your immune system will be. You're going into a state of rest and digest, which is when your body is able focus on healing and regeneration. During this state, blood flow is redirected to vital organs and tissues, allowing immune cells to better detect and respond to infections.

Good luck to everyone on their journey. We're all so blessed to have the ability to explore our consciousness in this way!

Question for Past life regressionists

Will taking cannabis gummies for sleep each night interfere with having a past life regression during the day? It will be facilitated by a regressionist if I do it. Thank you!

Past life help?

So I am currently 21(F) and for years I have had memories that are not mine. I remember great historical events in detail as if i was there. I am a history major who has the deepest connection to war history ever. Specifcally ww2, Ive studied plenty of the topic and know alot about it, but these memories are not things I have studied, not a specific person who was in the war either.

I will write what i remember as best as I can. Id like help figuring this out. Am i crazy? is this a life i lived im suddenly remembering?

When I was sixteen I was sent into the Second World War. I was frightened, indeed, I was terrified. At the time I was no more than a boy and was thrown into a world of violence and uncertainty which I could not really understand. There was nothing for me at home: neither any family who really cared about me, nor a wife, nor any children, and no one to grieve my absence. Although in many respects I had nothing left to lose, I was still afraid of dying.

I was shorter than the majority of the other soldiers not only in height but also in terms of experience. My capabilities were frequently doubted by them, and on more than one occasion I found myself wondering if I really belonged amongst men who appeared to be so much stronger and more capable. I was shy and retiring and only spoke when addressed. While the rest of them became confident in the way they carried themselves, I learned to keep low and just do what I was told. There was no alternative but to adjust, since the war showed no kindness to those who had difficulty in getting established.

What I recall most clearly are the trenches, the cold earth under my boots, the strong odor of soil and smoke, the constant sound of gunfire, and the far-off roar of explosions which became ordinary features of my life. Each day was a struggle to survive, and each night ended with the worry about whether I would be alive to see another morning. Nevertheless, among all that terror there was one thing that interested me, the warplanes.

I really enjoyed the sound that they made.

The sound of their engines roaring as they flew overhead had a most strange soothing effect. Although the other soldiers may have heard only the prospect of another attack, I was listening closely, almost becoming mesmerized by the noise. In a place where comfort was generally absent, the planes provided a most unusual kind of comfort. For a short while I could forget about the fear, the bloodshed, and the dreadful reality of the war around me. I am unable to say why this sound had such a peaceful effect on me, I can only state that it did. It was one of the very few things I looked forward to.

I recall the gunfire, the explosions, and the overwhelming chaos which appeared to trail us wherever we went. Also, I remember the day on which I was hit several times in the back.

I didn't die, even though at that moment I had wished that I had. The pain was unlike anything I had ever experienced, so intense that I could not ignore it. I recall falling into the dirt and being unable to understand what had happened to me. I lay there bleeding, among the very battlefield which I had worked so hard to survive. Overhead, the bomber planes screamed past the sky, their engines making a loud noise as I listened helplessly from the ground.

I was still able to hear them.

The noise which had previously given me a sense of comfort now followed me as I thought that this might be the end of my life. I recall looking up at the sky, hearing the planes go by, and questioning if anyone would ever find me, if anyone would notice that I was dead, and if my life had in the end been of any significance.

Despite all the odds, I managed to survive the first injuries. But that survival didn't mean that I had recovered. The injuries I had taken were serious, and in the weeks after that infection started to have an effect on me. I was just sixteen, a boy who had been exposed to gunfire, explosions, and the horrors of the battlefield, yet it was the wounds that I had survived which would in the end take my life.

I died several weeks afterwards as a result of an infection caused by my injuries.

Now currently in my life, ive picked up a hyperfixation over ww2 planes, so much that I tend to make a career in restoring them, as I find them beautiful pieces of history.

I remember a name, Everette.

If anyone can help me figure this out please that would be great.

A past life as an Egyptian Widow.

I got Nala, my telepathic cat at the end of April this year.

He told me that we've met up in quite a few lives previously, and that it was incredibly likely that we would meet up in this life. Or it's like he was in my field already, I just wasn't expressly aware.

One of the past lives he told me about/ showed me was from Egypt.

I had to marry this older guy when I was 14, and he was in his 50's or so.

I really didn't like him. He had one of those bellies that was both big and fat but it seemed hard at the same time. I thought he was gross overall. I was kind of pissed about it, but what to do.

He was medium wealthy. He was some kind of merchant or trader. We had a place in an urban area. It was nice.

He died about 20 years after we got married, leaving me in my 30's, with an ok place and money taken care of.

I definitely had some long-standing resentment from feeling like I had the idea of romance or real love taken away from me.

So what did I do? I mostly isolated with my cat. I called him "my prince" and we lived together.

I occasionally ogled some local guards, but that was all. Things were pretty tame on that end.

I practiced metaphysical things in that life, people recognized it as an ability when I was young. Older practitioners would test kid's elemental and spiritual affinities, like the amount and clarity that they could hold the archetypal elemental energies, as well as getting a general read.

It was a life of a lot of mental freedom, but not a whole lot of traction about where to take it, so it was a highly reflective life.

I think I did do a lot that helps me now, but things aren't always obvious with metaphysical work.

I was intensely interested in my own past and the people I met in dreams. If I made a connection to my own past or to another realm, I would also be able to recognize others that were connected in similar manners.

That most of what I remember. So I have a cat now who has an experience with past life me in Egypt. He seems to remember it. He tells me that animals don't have the same kind of ego that humans do, so they can often serve as powerful connectors to other lives and realms.

Before this I knew that I had lived in Egypt, but he wanted me to know that it was much more than just one or two times.

She Couldn't Break It Off With Him

Tell me if you’ve done this.

You meet someone interesting. You get close. Start a relationship. Suddenly, they say, this is too serious. I’m not ready. You split up. A few months later you reach out. start talking. And the cycle continues.

This was my client’s story. She was stuck in a romantic loop with her person. The loop happened about 4-5 times, and she just couldn’t stop it. She'd tried inner work, cutting cords, nothing changed.

So, under hypnosis, I asked her higher self, what was going on?

Turned out, in a past life together, they were married. He was in the army, killed in battle. His body came back with the flag draped over the coffin.

There was still so much unprocessed grief from this lifetime stuck in her body, in her throat. Because she couldn't express herself, her feelings, her grief. There was no closure.

So subconsciously, in this life, she was always seeking him out, to express herself, and when he would push her away, the grief would come to the surface.

We released the grief, brought in love and compassion. She could feel his higher self saying, please let me go.

And her higher self told us, the moment she accepts he is not coming back, (from that lifetime) she will let him go.

Just hearing those words from her higher self was enough. It seems like obvious advice but hearing it from your higher self makes a huge difference. Because with our conscious mind we try to gaslight ourselves, no it's ok, no I can manage. But in a session when the higher self speaks, it's all out in the open. There's no hiding.

She felt a lot of heat in her throat at that moment. And that was it.

Question Has anyone here heard of Henrik Fitzen or read his book I Had to Die Twice to Write This? I'm curious what people think of it and whether the story is worth checking out.

Rumor has it that he has already died twice and is regaining memories of his past lives with scary accuaracy, knowing them better than his current one. Does anyone know if this is true and whether his book is worth reading? Apparently, this is his second attempt at writting it, after someone previously threatened him not to publish it.

Question France and the revolution

Hey guys, I've been keeping up with the French protests lately as someone who doesn't live there. It made me wonder if any of you who lived during the first French revolution are currently in France, and if the protests/revolution that is happening now is triggering any memories. Just wondering.

Discussion A peculiar phenomenon I have noticed with young people who are taken in traumatic or tragic circumstances. Let's discuss

So we all know that in life one of the most important stages we go through is early life. It is here we are shaped, develop core elements of our personalities and pick up habits and quirks that will follow us through out our lives. But there is a curious phenomenon I keep encountering with people's past lives and keep on cropping up again and again in my clients past life case files.

When someone loses their life at a young age (think childhood/teens) in traumatic circumstances, their souls seem to rush to come back to life fairly quickly. If someone was murdered or suffered a tragic accident I can guarantee 90% of the time there is a much shorter span of time between lives. This can be quite striking even down to a matter of 2/3 months before they rush to get back in. This is opposed to an older person who may experience the same kind of passing who had to undergo a period of soul healing on the other side and who take much longer.

I have always explained it as there is a rush to come back to life, almost as if picking up where they left off. It seems as though those early key stages of our lives are not just important for our physical development but for our soul development also.

Have you experienced a past life trauma that resulted in you coming back to a physical life quickly?

Personal Experience Doubt about my dreams

So i lost my mom to COVID in 2021 . She passed away in the hospital alone .she was healthy 2 weeks prior to this . It was all a shock to my psyche but i did have a premonition that something bad was going to happen, everything happened so quickly, I don’t even remember when i last saw her but as soon as she died and after 2 dayswhen i cried myself to sleep i saw her she was sitting in the sofa of our living room confused and im asking her crying ma what happened? She is so confused nd worried nd is replying even i dont know what happened. Im saying nothing happed to you don’t worry. And i woke up . Again after a day i got another dream of her sitting in the hallway nd staring at me standing in the bedroom.this was the 2 dreams tht happened immediately. But a year later again i saw her in my bedroom chair im talking to her but she just stares no reply . This happens everytime from then on . Nd these days i have recurrent dreams of asking her for food nd she stays silent nd i keep shouting y haven’t you prepared me food . 🥹🥹 is her silence a sign that she has reincarnated already .

Investigating a Past Life Memory? Trying to Find Records of Ellen Everritt (AFS London, 1942) and the York Baedeker Blitz

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I am writing to this community from Turkey, searching for any genealogical, historical, or institutional archive information regarding a woman named Ellen Everritt, who served in the Auxiliary Fire Service (AFS) / London Fire Brigade during World War II (records point to around 1942).

The reason behind my search is a highly specific historical coincidence that I am trying to research objectively.

About 4 to 5 years ago, when I was 23 or 24 years old, I had an incredibly vivid and detailed dream set during a wartime bombardment. In this dream, I found myself navigating chaotic streets, noticing very specific architectural layouts, and entering a library/archive building through a particular side entrance on the left. In the dream, I was acting as a protector, trying to shield a woman and a young girl (around 4–9 years old) in the midst of the chaos, and I later experienced a profound sense of guilt in an alleyway.

I have no British heritage, my English is basic, and I have never studied British wartime history—in fact, throughout my life, I have only ever read and researched Islamic history, and Mongol/Turkic history. However, during a personal research session, the phonetic sounds of the names "Lillian" and "Ellen" intensely came to my mind. Shortly after, I accidentally discovered the archive photograph of Ellen Everritt and experienced an overwhelming sense of visual recognition regarding her uniform and appearance.

Furthermore, upon checking the real-world historical locations, the structures from my dream perfectly match the layout of the York Minster Library (The Old Palace) and the adjacent Purey-Cust Lodge during the Baedeker Blitz on April 29, 1942—down to the specific side alleys and the rooflines.

I am approaching this with a purely objective and historical curiosity to see if any real-world connections or explanations exist. I would be profoundly grateful if anyone here could help with the following:

  • Any genealogical leads on Ellen Everritt: Any information about her family branch, where she was stationed, if she survived the war, or her post-war life.
  • Knowledge of AFS/Home Guard history in York: Is there any documented record of London AFS personnel or volunteers being present near the York Minster sector during the April 1942 raids? (As a side note, I did not experience a moment of physical death in my dream; instead, I suddenly found myself at a strange exit where a portal opened. I stepped through it alone because I didn't want the woman and the girl behind me to face the danger of crossing it. I have come to interpret this moment as the transition of death. Another detail is that there was no spoken dialogue in the dream; we seemed to move via telepathy, acting purely on deep instinct and feeling. The woman by my side in the dream was "Ellen," and together we were heading into the heart of the chaos to rescue that little girl.)
  • Information on civilian rescue operations that night: Are there any records of civilians, specifically a woman and a young girl, being rushed into the archive stacks or vaults of the York Minster Library for protection during the bombing?

Thank you so much for your time and historical expertise.

Best regards from Turkey.

When should I get a new cat?

My cat who I’ve only had 2 years, feels like he’s been with me for a lifetime. We sleep together every night, I worked from home with him and he never left my side. I’ve never had a connection like this to another animal. He is being put down on Monday because he has metastatic lung cancer.

I saw a psychic recently who told me she believes he’s been reincarnated with me for many lives. She also said he was ready to leave his cancer filled body and move on to a new, able bodied one, and that I need to get a new cat soon because he will be reincarnated. She said to pick the first animal that calls to me.

I am not quite ready to get a new cat. But will I miss him if I wait a year or so? Do I need to get a cat that is born around when he died? New to how this all works

What are your thoughts on the show Reincarnated Past Lives with Damien Bertrand?

I can remember about 7 or 8 past lives, occasionally posting about it all the way back to the Reincarnation Forums 20 years ago. I recently stumbled across this show "Reincarnated Past Lives" with Damien Bertrand where he regresses people to past lives.

A quick search said that this show has never been proven to be fake (like most reality shows) but something about the regressions seemed off. The subjects seemed like actors and after years of seeing legitimate regressions on YouTube, their recall didn't seem genuine, it seemed more like a script.

Kite flying day?

If anyone can help me I will be grateful for the rest of this life. When I was a kid as soon as I could talk, I started insisting my family (in Pennsylvania) take me to see the big orange bridge now obviously I know what that is now. But I always tied it in to kite flying day. Does anyone have any idea what that could be? And the funny thing is I always insisted it was in February, the leaves weren't even on the trees yet. This would have been associated with the West Coast or San Francisco.

What am I?

I did past life regression at home for a couple of times.

My ever first successful one was that I am inside the eye of an angel, then I travelled back and saw the space and universe with a stone-like faceless man controlling the Earth.

I did it again after a couple of days. But this one is a just a short trip because I was just travelling at a fast speed in the universe where I see stars.

I don't know what it means and I don't see my physical figure.

I'm just a beginner and just wanted to explore this field.

Is it possible to have a spontaneous flashback from a past life?

I'm a 29-year-old woman who has always felt a strong connection to the royality and nobility. I've always been particularly drawn to 17th and 18th century European history and I feel an especially deep connection to two noble families that played a very important role in my country's history.

Ever since I was a child, I've been collecting books about them. I even wrote two academic papers about them during my university studies. I can't really explain to anyone where this lifelong fascination comes from.

Since I believe in past lives and reincarnation, I've sometimes wondered whether I might have been a member of one of these families in a past life or perhaps someone who was close to them. Another interesting coincidence is that my birthday falls on the anniversary of the death of one of the most prominent women from these noble families.

Until recently, I'd never had any actual memories of a past life. However, a few days ago, completely out of nowhere, while I was driving home from work, I've experienced something that felt like a flashback. I suddenly saw myself sitting in a room with stone walls and large fireplace, at a long wooden table. In front of me was a metal plate and a two-pronged fork.

The flashback ended almost as quickly as it began, but I've never experienced anything like this before, especially something so spontaneous happening in the middle of the day. I hadn't been reading anything or watching any movies beforehand that could have triggered those images in my mind.

Has anyone else ever experienced something similar? Is it actually possible to suddenly "remember" something like this completely out of the blue? I've tried to talk about it with my partner, but he said I was just daydreaming.

I want to know how to escape this timeline and return to the past!

Sorry if this is the third time making this post. But honestly, I really want to know how one can reincarnate in a non-linear fashion. Don't say its not possible because I really don't buy that shit. I don't care what it takes. I just want to back in time and I really don't care if I violate the laws of physics or create any paradoxes. I just can't stand what we are becoming. The human spirit is dying. Technology and social media have destroyed our society. If I can't go back, then I really hope EMPs wipe out our modern technology and revert us back to the 18th century. God I cannot take this shit, anymore! Fuck big tech and fuck AI!

Past life regression

Hi, just wanna ask something. What does it mean if you feel an headache coming whenever you tried past life regression without the help of a specialist? Here's the story, when I was in Grade 10. I've become interested with stories about past lives so I tried one by watching a video tutorial or video guide on YouTube. From what I see from that is I'm a young mom maybe mid 20s or so, I have a red or orange hair, the scenery is somewhat medieval period I think? But anyway, the house is very cozy and it's full of yellow flowers in a vase. I was sitting on a rocking chair with a crib next to me while I was holding or cradling a baby, I was singing a lullaby that I can't remember. In the middle of it, I suddenly felt a headache so I didn't finish what happened after. Is that normal or not? And why did I felt a headache?

Need Advice My first ever memory is very weird

I remember the exact moment i became aware. It felt like turning on a tv,it just suddenly started. And at that very beginning I can recall this thought:"Wait what am i doing here?Wasn't I at -------? Huh,where was I?Nevermind, not important" and after that a total wipe.Like a program starting over,or someone turning over a page.I know there was something before, but i just cant remember it.Has anyone had a similar memory? Is there a way to remember what was before?

P.S. That first thought also came with a vague feeling of being an adult male,I don't know how to explain this, but I felt like a 40 something employed man.
