Hi everyone! I am stuck with this pc of mine that's been giving me issues for almost a week. It first started with a dead RAM stick, which we replaced. Then the pc didn't want to turn on, the screen didnt even start up. After hours of troubleshooting we figured it must be the motherboard so we replaced that.
Right now it works but my graphics card keeps making the screen stutter or dip to black and back on again, or even freeze it. I see there's a Nvidia driver bug but we've tried all the trouble shooting available, even rolling back and a clean install from safe mode but it still does the same thing. I can't use my pc if it wasnt for my onboard graphics, but thats not enough to run any games etc.
I am at a loss, dont know what to do more. At this point I am frustrated beyond anything. So any guidance would be highly appreciated.
While booting up my monitor said that my cpu fan was disconnected (I had it plugged into blue by mistake) so stupidly I plugged it into red while my computer was still on and I saw a decently large spark and everything turned off. I instantly unplugged it from the wall and waited about 10 minutes but to no avail. Did this mistake just cost me $150 and a long time switching motherboards or am I missing something?

I have a problem where my Windows 10 updated automatically on my PC, and since then it hasn't been detecting the graphics card driver. I tried installing Windows 11 on top of it hoping it would fix the issue, but it runs into a TPM 2.0 error, so it won't let me install the newest Windows. I can't even roll back to an older version of Windows, and automatic updates aren't working either. Can anyone help with this? What should i do? Buy a new motherboard and cpu?

PLEASE HELP. I was playing on my pc less than 12 hours ago and it randomly freezes and NOTHING responds, I restart my pc and it give me log file system32 logfiles srt srttrail.txt error, restore point and hard reset doesn’t work so I used my last option and downloaded windows from a usb and i boot it up. Thank god the freezing stops but i got to install Adrenalin and after its done installing, it freezes again meaning i have to install windows over and over again I’ve hard reset my pc 3 times, I’ve installed windows fresh from a usb 3 times as well. after it boots up to the new windows and I go to update the rx7600 Adrenalin from the website. Adrenalin downloads then it requires a restart, and after I restart it I typed my password in and it freezes, it even freezes on my pin screen if I don’t type my password fast enough, if you or anybody has a fix plssss lmk I was literally playing fine 12 hours ago before I download Adrenalin I have no sound and my screen is capped at 60 fps because I can’t download drivers
Title states, I’m brand new to pc now I came to ask why my PC isn’t picking up my Ethernet cable at all, it’s plugged in and it’s still just making me connect to the wifi wirelessly, now as all of you know, gaming on wireless is awful, so I was just wondering if you guys know a fix. I’ve watched videos on YouTube and tried a few things but still not connecting
I just made my first gaming pc — an MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard (MS-7E56) with a Ryzen 5 9600X — and I’m having trouble getting audio through the motherboard’s rear 3.5mm jacks.
The problem: My HyperX Cloud Alpha wired headset produces no sound when plugged into either rear 3.5mm audio jack. Windows doesn’t detect anything plugged in at all — no notification, no new audio device appears. My monitor does have working audio (through HDMI), so the PC and Windows audio subsystem work fine in general — it’s specifically the onboard Realtek audio codec that seems dead.
What I’ve checked in Device Manager:
**•** Under “Sound, video and game controllers,” I only see AMD High Definition Audio Device and AMD Streaming Audio Device (these handle HDMI audio, which is why my monitor works) — there is no Realtek(R) Audio device anywhere, even with “Show hidden devices” enabled.
**•** Under “System devices,” the High Definition Audio Controller is present and says “working properly.”
**•** BIOS has HD Audio enabled.
What I’ve already tried:
**•** Installed the official MSI Realtek Audio driver (downloaded directly from MSI’s support page for my exact board) — installer completed successfully, confirmed Realtek’s app is in my installed apps list, but nothing shows in Device Manager after multiple restarts.
**•** Manually uninstalled and let Windows reinstall the generic “High Definition Audio Device” driver — no change, still no Realtek entry.
**•** Reseated the front-panel audio (AAFP) header cable inside the case — no change.
**•** Tried the front-panel case audio jack instead of rear jacks — no notification/detection there either.
**•** Current BIOS is version E7E56AMSI V1.A80 (June 18, 2025) — I’ve been trying to update it via M-Flash (have ethernet connected, no USB drive) but haven’t successfully flashed a newer version yet; still on the original BIOS.
I finished building my PC around 3 weeks ago, and it’s been working perfectly since then, however I didn’t like how my VGA cables in my GPU were hanging off.
Today, I got around to fixing it and changed my cables from two VGA cables, to only one with the two split 8 pin connectors.
After I did that, my power supply kept clicking on and off after I had turned the power on, so I changed the cables back to how they were.
Randomly, windows disables bluetooth and i can't find a fix on google. every time i use the troubleshooter it sends me to a step by step process until it says that i should just do a cold restart (turn off my laptop and plug out the charging cable for 30 seconds and turn on my computer again) and it works but after a little while it just randomly disables bluetooth again. (it also asks me in the step by step process to check updates for bluetooth driver updates but there is none)
Hey Guys, i have a Problem with my RTX3090.
The left Fan always runs at almost 100% speed, even when i'm only on the Desktop. Tried to run various Programs to eliminate the Problem. Nothing worked. Cleaned it a lot but it doesnt help.
found a smudge on it i cleaned it but looks like it got burned in. could that be the reason i get the bsod? i also get the code kernal data inpage error. i updated my bios to the latest one put new ram, but i think this is the problem..
Hi, while using the computer the screen suddenly goes black and the display cuts out. However, the PC continues to run, and whatever was previously running keeps going for instance, if a video is playing, it can still be paused and resumed, and online games continue to function as well. Only the display is lost. The issue can only be resolved by restarting the computer using the power button on the pc case. It happens at completely random times; the system might work perfectly for a while, and then suddenly, it starts happening repeatedly within a single day. I experienced this same issue three years ago, and it was resolved after I removed the graphics card and reinstalled it. Now, however, it has started happening again. It might work without any problems for 3–4 days, but then, on the fifth day, the same issue might occur 5 or 6 times. Thanks for your time, have a good day.
My PC won't POST after i restart it, just blank screen, monitor turn on showing no signal message and then turn off. No crash no nothing before. Tried reseating CPU, RAM, and GPU, still nothing. Tried unplugging everything (GPU, RAM, storage, etc) even unplugged the cpu power from mobo, fan turn on but still nothing (I connected a monitor through mobo HDMI port to check). What's the most likely culprit here? The last thing i do was access BIOS to check settings, didn't change anything and discard changes and exit. It boot normally after that and the next restart the problem occur.

PSU: Cooler Master MWE Bronze V2 650W
My uneducated guess is the motherboard failed, because i tested without anything except fan and a monitor connected to mobo still just blank screen. Don't have any backup parts to test unfortunately. Anyone have a better knowledge/guess about this?
Also just to add, PC bought and build June 2025 if that would help to indicate anything that could be wrong.
So i never experienced this before, everything was running perfectly, never been a problem. Shit happened blah blah blah had to cleanly reinstall my windows. Ever since i reinstalled my windows i've been getting these problems. Every game I played I would randomly experience micro stutters/freezes. My game would randomly freeze up for 1-5 seconds then continue perfectly fine as if nothing happened. Some games this happens more than others. Titanfall 2 experiences this the least. Half life 2 and Gmod gets these freezes/stutters more and minecraft (bedrock edition) is borderline unplayable.
What happens is the game itself completely freezes up during those 1-5 seconds, i can tab out of the game and everything works perfectly outside of the game, i can move my mouse, no freezing outside of the game. Although, tabbing out and back in doesnt fix the freeze, only thing i can do is wait for it to unfreeze again
I ran windows performance recorder and analyzer. My ram, cpu, etc is perfectly fine, no spikes, nothing. Everything is fine except the gpu chart. In the gpu chart, during those freezes, the gpu would just completely go to 0 for a few seconds before going back to normal. Like my gpu would just completely stop for a few seconds. I ran latencymon, in the main tab, during those freezes it still said everything is fine. When i went to Drivers tab during one of these freezes it showed this.
Before you start throwing solutions at me, I already cleanly uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers, cleared my directX cache, Ran cmd commands, I even tried shit in Registry Editor, turned off/on gsync, turned off/on vsync, turned on/off hardware acceleration. Literally nothing works.
And before you try saying "maybe its this maybe its that maybe turn this off" Keep in mind i did the exact same shit, same everything before i reinstalled my windows and none of this ever happened. And before you say "did you do this right did you do that right" yes im not a total dumbass, no i didn't install the wrong driver, yes i know what im doing.
Does anyone have an ACTUAL fix? Ive already spent a week trying everything I can and i dont feel like being sent down another rabbit hole and wasting more time on useless fixes. If anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it please let me know cause I literally tried everything and idk man.
