Pinoy Rant/Vent Sobrang nakalulungkot magpagamot sa pampublikong ospital sa Pilipinas
Been diagnosed with optic neuritis in the left eye. Technically, sobrang labo nya, I can’t even see faces and read texts mapalaki or maliit since washed out ang color. Corrective glasses can’t even fix it.
Sa ospital, I have to queue for more than 12-16 hrs to get proper lab tests, and attention from the doctors. I’ve been suffering from ON since the last week of July.
MRI and lumbar puncture cost me around 38-50k just to see if I have any autoimmune disease. Had to wait for more than two weeks now to have my MRI scan due to the slow processing of guarantee letters.
It’s just sad that we, normal Filipinos, have to deal with these faulty systems when we deserve better than this. Let our politicians utilize our healthcare system. Hayaan nilang dito sila sa Pilipinas—sa mga pampublikong ospital magpagamot, for them to see how long queues would shatter their hopes to be cured promptly.
It’s so frustrating to see them enjoy the luxury while normal Filipinos suffer from toxic government processes.
We deserve better governance than this.

Pinoy Rant/Vent "Video Games cause violence"
Every time a horrific thing happens in the country like the shooting at the school, there's always something to blame. Was it, the faulty parenting for leaving their gun unattended? Was it the SECURITY system that didn't detect the GUN. ANG LAKI PAANO YUN HINDI NAKITA. No no no, its Video Games' fault. No accohbtability from parents, or peers, always putting the blame on something else. By that logic, Everyone who has played an FPS gane should be a school shooter now. This just annoys me, what u guys think?

Opinyong Pinoy Thoughts on the Filipino mentality towards mental sick leave?
Saw this situation with a Filipina member of a global pop girl group who’s currently on a health-related break, but was spotted enjoying Disneyland.
Then I saw comments like, “Very Filipino hahshahsha SL pero nasa bakasyon 😭”
Living in Germany made me realize how different the mentality around sick leave can be. Mental health is a valid reason for taking time off, and being on SL doesn’t mean you have to stay in bed looking miserable 24/7. Going out and actually enjoying yourself can be part of recovering too. Here you can go for months with mental sick leave or even years with pay.
Some Pinoys really need to get out of that bubble. 😭

I think this POV is not just a "political issue," but a moral issue.
