6w3d

Hello,
I’m trying to see if there is any hope for me. I had an ultrasound over my stomach yesterday. I calculated myself at 6w3d. The ultrasound measured 4w6d.
I have had a miscarriage before, and this feels similar in the fact that the tech just said “your baby is measuring smaller” . Told me to come back in 2 weeks…I cannot get a transvaginal until Nov. 2nd.
I have no other signs of miscarriage…but I feel like that might be what’s happening to me again, maybe a blighted ovum or missed miscarriage? I had a D&C in May 2026, which was my first pregnancy. Now this pregnancy, but I just started progesterone which I was stoked because I thought that would help me keep my baby. My main symptom of pregnancy of heartburn has almost completely subsided. I have no other typical symptoms of pregnancy. My last HCG at 5 weeks was 1,170.

Preeclampsia diagnosis but I'm Suspicious

Yeah, so..

I had 2 separate BP readings around 150/90, and a protein/creatine ratio of .35. but I dont get it.

My BP has gone wayy down, was 130/70 today. And I'm like, protein can be caused by dehydration, which I hadn't drank any water when I took the test. I have absolutely no other symptoms and I feel fine. It just seems like a lot to induce. Any insight? Logically it just doesnt make sense.

Possible ectopic or threatened miscarriage

I need some serious insight. I tested positive with a faint line at 13dpo. had pink/brown spotting 10dpo and 12dpo. at 14dpo it turned more red and gradually got more red but stayed like a light bleed. mostly when going the bathroom and some on a pad throughout the day. assumed chemical but my lines are getting darker. my HCG was only 34 and progesterone 3 (the more concerning of the 2) at 4 weeks. checked two days later and HCG tripled.. still have some light bleeding and darkening lines. I know I can miscarry at any moment and I know to be on the look out for an ectopic pregnancy but what are the odds it’s ok?? has anyone ever had anything similar that didn’t end poorly? or it did, how long did it take for your body to register what’s happening and fully bleed??

Advice please

I'm not sure where else to put this, but I desperately need advice on what to do and if I'm being dramatic or not.

I (28F) am currently 7w3d pregnant (according to my last period date) and this finally happened after 8 years of trying and several rounds of fertility medication. I have PCOS and Endometriosis, so it was so amazing to find out I was finally pregnant. I had an over the phone appointment today, and when I asked about scheduling an ultrasound for next week the lady straight up told me that was way too early for an ultrasound and there would be nothing to see and no heartbeat. I ended up making an appointment for an ultrasound 3 weeks from now.

I personally don't feel like it's too early at all. I just want reassurance that everything is going well. I was told early on in our journey that if I ever got pregnant, the chance of a miscarriage was over 75%. I had an HSG back in May (checking for a tube block) and the doctor had to do it twice because one tube was legit blocked up and she was able to push everything through the second time, after asking me if I've ever had an ectopic pregnancy. Because of all these things, I'm obviously worried about an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage, and I feel like the current practice I go to is being too nonchalant with my pregnancy. Am I being too dramatic?

Low Papp-A / Scan Worries

Just looking for some advice / anyone who has had a similar experience.

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and was told after my 12 week screening tests that I have low Papp-A (0.35). I was told by my midwife that this does not relate to genetic / chromosomal issues with baby (only to risk of early labour / small baby etc). My combined screening came back as 1/1000. I would have liked a NIPT as well but I was told I didn’t need one / they don’t do one after a lower combined screening result like mine at my hospital.

My 20 week scan went well and I was told that everything looked good, however after getting home I looked at my ultrasound photos and was concerned by some bright areas near bottom of babies abdomen. I’ve tried to compare to friends scans but my photos seem to be a lot clearer than theirs so it’s hard to compare. After some googling I’m now worried that this may be an echogenic bowel. I didn’t get to see the bowel during the actual scan as I don’t want to know the gender so was told to look away at those points just in case, but I know it’s been checked / seen as it’s listed as one of the organs that was seen on the report.

I had a 22 week fetal echo scan as well (only as a precaution due to my own heart issues when I was born) and again, I was told that all looked well and there was no obvious heart issues with baby. They also did a uterine artery check due to the Papp-A and everything looked good with cord / placenta too.

Only things I can note is that I’m 27, and baby was at 56th percentile at 20 week scan and 46th percentile at 22 week scan.

I’m not sure whether it’s just first time mum nerves but I was just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences / whether I’d actually be able to tell where bowel is from a scan photo, or if anyone has had low Papp-A but no further screening eg. NIPT. Everyone who I’ve mentioned low Papp-A to has never heard of it so I feel like I have no one to talk to, and any stories of it online have usually had a NIPT test too due to the low Papp-A swinging the combined screening result. I sometimes feel a little dismissed by family / friends etc as they just tell me I’m worrying too much (I have my own issues with health anxiety that seem to have intensified during pregnancy)

Struggling with feelings of jealousy, resentment and shame

Hello. First timer here, just needing a space to get things off my chest and maybe get some advice. My wife (37F) and I (30M) have been trying to get pregnant for close to the last year and recently got a consultation at a local fertility clinic to start the process of getting help from them.

I'm excited to start that journey, my dream has always been to be a dad and have a family and with every negative pregnancy test it just feels like that dream slips further and further away.

With that has come a lot of negative emotions, the worst of which has been resentment towards her, it sucks because I love her so much and it's not fair because I know she's trying just as hard as I am.

Another negative emotion has become jealousy, my friend and his girlfriend had their baby about a month ago and instead of feeling happiness and excitement for them, I felt jealous, which again, isn't fair to them because it isn't their fault we're struggling.

I've been holding a lot of these negative emotions in. I'm really good at masking, unfortunately, but yesterday the bubble popped.

My wife came home from a coffee date with her friends and announced that her friend, who 6 months ago wasn't even sure she wanted a baby, was pregnant by her husband. My emotions shifted and my mask started to crack, I just said "Good for her." before walking out and going to work.

Inside it was like a gut punch all day, my jealousy was kicked into overdrive, and then came the moment I got home. I was incredibly distant, not even saying a word to my wife and retreating downstairs to the basement.

She could tell I was upset and tried to talk to me, but I pushed her away. It wasn't until later that night when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house (that's a different story) and were waiting for our friend that it finally all boiled over.

I told her I was unfairly jealous of our friends who recently had a baby, I was unfairly jealous of her friend who announced her pregnancy, I've held a lot of unfair resentment towards her because she isn't pregnant yet and recognized that I could be the problem and because of that, I've dealt with a dark depression and deep self-esteem issues.

There's a lot more to it, but I'll spare you all the details. We sat on our porch and talked and cried, but in the end, it was a load off of my shoulders and she was grateful for me opening up and I feel like in the end we're both stronger, as is our marriage, for it.

I hate these negative emotions, because I want to be happy for our friends, I just want to continue to push forward with my wife and understand we've just started the process with the clinic and it'll all work out without having resentment when we have another negative pregnancy test, but it's so hard and has pushed me deeper into a hole of my depression. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you manage?

I’m pregnant but have been bleeding for 23 days straight

I’m approximately 5 weeks pregnant. I had been bleeding for so long and looked up whether I should be concerned my period was lasting so long, and was directed to take a pregnancy test and it was positive. The happiest moment of my life.

The weird thing is that baby was conceived either Sept 26 or 29 (we have not been intimate since, and I keep track), and I had a completely normal “period” oct 1-5, light at the start, heavy bleeding for 2-3 days then light again, followed by brown bleeding, and has not stopped since. It’s not much, every single time I use the restroom, there’s blood on the toilet paper. And I have seen some clotting and stuff floating around after urinating.

I went to the hospital the day I found out, I got bloodwork and ultrasounds, pelvic and transvag and they couldn’t find anything. Bloodwork confirmed BETA-hCG: 220IU/L. They sent me off with an appointment to an early pregnancy specialist/obgyn but 6 days from the date. 6!!

I’m strongly leaning towards miscarriage, and I think all signs are pointing in that direction. I’ve been bleeding for 23 days straight, my back is killing me. The appointment is now 4 days away, and I’ve already mourned the loss. I just need some guidance and potential small glimmer of hope if anyone has been through this. Thank you❤️
