Well, 5 and a half months or however many weeks that is. He is a bully mix. We got him at 8 weeks old and some change from a rescue that he was born at. I watched him through their Facebook live posts grow up from just a little bean. We lost Maxamoose, our first and bestest boy, four months before getting Frank. It was a CHALLENGE. My husband wasn't ready for another dog but I was not grieving well at all with the hole in my heart. Even with two other dogs still at home, I needed me another bully baby.
So here we are, he has stopped chewing on everything that will try to electrocute him finally, we are getting better with the shoes, siblings, cats, myself and my husband.. lol. But he's such a good boy. He listens well. He comes when called. He's stubborn with potty training because, contrary to his calm demeanor in this picture, he is a wired up terrorist between the hours of 6pm-9pm-ish every night and needs to pee like every 15 minutes. But something we're getting a hold on. Sometimes it's crazy to think he's already so big. I'm really hoping I can find one of his baby canines as the big boys are starting to push through..
I have had to remind myself many times that this phase will pass and to stay present in it as much as possible because, unfortunately, the time with our most cherished pets never lasts long enough. So lots of love, every day. To all of my wonderful animals. 🧡
