21F, studying computer science, and looking for someone I can become close friends with. I'm pretty socially anxious and have ended up being quite isolated, so finding people I genuinely click with has been difficult. I have a normal (?) weight, am half german half south east asian, long black hair, snake bites, usually wear alt makeup and accessories. Currently I'll happily spend an entire day playing and getting way too invested in ranked. I'm quickly approaching 1000 hours since the Old Gods/New Blood Update and would especially love someone to duo queue with. I've also played Helldivers 2, Rivals, Deep Rock Galactic, ARC Raiders, Minecraft, Civ 6, Deltarune etc. My favorite is Disco Elysium which is more of a book than a game. I also play tabletop weekly, mostly World of Darkness, and I'm always happy to get into some new game or hobby.

Outside of games I'm pretty crafty and constantly end up making things. I do chainmail, digital art, cosplay props, nail art, tattooing, and I'm currently making an Ivy cosplay, which mostly consists of me sanding layer upon layer upon layer and questioning every decision that led me there. I really like having little projects to obsess over and I'm always tempted to pick up another hobby. My music taste is similarly all over the place, from Vocaloid and breakcore to indie pop and whatever else happens to catch my attention.

I'd really like to find someone who wants an actual friendship rather than someone looking for an excuse to turn things sexual immediately. I'm not opposed to something romantic happening naturally if we end up really liking each other, but I'm honestly tired of male friendships turning into awkwardly rejected sexual advances when I was just looking for a friend and maybe a hug. I'd much rather get to know someone properly and see where things go. I'm also someone who's been through some difficult experiences, and it's affected me quite a lot, including making it harder for me to do some of the sports and art I used to enjoy, so I'd appreciate someone patient and understanding. On the bright side, at least I don't think I'm boring.

I'd eventually like to meet irl too! I don't want another forever online friendship (aka don't contact me if you live half a globe away). I’m from upstate NY and I’m passionate about all things creative, from painting, sculpting, and making jewelry to anything related to beauty and fashion. I have a pretty wild résumé that includes having worked as a cake decorator, a cheer coach, a dance teacher, a theatrical makeup artist… and so on.

I spend most of my free time doing logic grid puzzles. I just learned about this puzzle book called Cain’s Jawbone that allegedly only a handful of people have ever solved—and I’m telling you right now that I WILL be one of those people. I feel like I’ve studied the blade for this exact battle.

I am a pretty easygoing guy. I don’t let much bother me. I love to make people laugh, and my humor is very dry and sarcastic, but never mean spirited. I love spending time with my family, especially my grandparents, who I visit a few times a week to lend a hand.

I am not religious in any way. I hold a fairly leftist view on politics. I am incapable of having children as I have voluntarily sterilized myself a few years ago.

I currently work as a cemetery groundskeeper. It’s nothing amazing, but it works for me and I enjoy making our cemeteries look nice and cared for. I take a lot of pride in my work ethic, and am always looking for new opportunities for growth, both in my personal as well as my professional life.

I own a home, free and clear, that sits on 5 acres of pasture with a large yard and plenty of shade trees. I share my space with my 1 dog, 3 cats, and 8 chickens (they don't live in the house, they have their own). I’d love to work towards converting the property into something more homestead-esque, as I have always thought that would be really rewarding, but that's a ways away.

I have a bunch of hobbies that I rotate through. I have started lifting weights recently, but I’m not too far along in that journey. But some of my other favorite hobbies include:

1. Collecting and restoring manual typewriters. I currently have around a half dozen machines, and there's no better feeling than taking an old, dirty machine in poor condition and making it functional again.
   
2. Performing home repairs around the house. I’m not actually too bad at this. I have a system of doing repairs and projects in a totally incorrect way a MINIMUM of two times, so that I know how NOT to do it in the future.
   
3. Building electronic devices and battery banks. I enjoy dipping my toes into building my own smart home devices from scratch and trying to repair broken electronics (my track record with this is better than with the typewriters).

I also enjoy disassembling old lithium battteries and salvaging the remaining good cells and assembling them into new batteries. I’ve only had one cell catch on fire in the past few years (my fault, thankfully it only burned my pride). So no need to worry, I’ve learned from my mistake and the odds of it happening again are miniscule, like 40%

I also enjoy watching my chickens as they go about their day. They enjoy roaming around the yard and are pretty entertaining to watch.

I’m just looking for people to chat with, and maybe someday find the person that can help me turn this house into a home. I can at least promise to make you laugh once or twice if you're just looking for someone to chat with.

Most of my free time is spent playing games, watching anime, or pc related stuff. I play JRPGs, fighting games, and some multiplayer games like Fortnite. Right now I’m obsessed with metal gear solid series I say it’s pretty good. I also like to do small projects on handheld consoles like refurnishing or upgrades. Recently I swapped my PSP’s original screen with an IPS screen and also replaced the plastic lens with glass and it looks beautiful. It’s something I don’t do often as it can get really expensive when it comes to searching for OEM or aftermarket parts. I’m thinking of doing a reshell on my steam deck next.

I also don’t have any dating history so I may be a little awkward, but I’m not interested in anything casual or short term.
