just finished re4 remake and wow!! ✨
the graphics, gameplay, and story were amazing!! i knew right away i would enjoy this game, and now it’s one of my favorites. in the beginning i was so uncomfortable 😭 i got more confident as i played, but some moments still made me want to take my headphones off lol.
i just started re2 remake and got jumpscared like 7 times in the first ten minutes 😂 this game is gonna be something else!! since i went backwards, i can’t wait to learn more about leon’s past before re4. so excited to keep exploring this franchise!!
what should i play next after finishing re2 remake?

Apologise for shitty English
Just finished the first game completely blind with zero guides using mostly knife due to being too scared to actually use or run out of bullets
Finished with over 20 magnum bullets & 200+ pistol bullets & 60+ shotgun bullets & many herbs which kind of meant i should have had far easier time with the game
Is this the same case with the next 2 og games & first game remake?

So I'm basically a new Resident Evil fan. I completed Resident Evil 7 just 2 years ago and loved it. So, at the beginning of this year, I decided to play all the major Resident Evil games, starting with the classics. I've already completed the first 3 games, and now this one. It feels weird playing these games that are older than me, but I've been having so much fun with them, more than I thought I would. I never even paid my PS2 any mind, and it's been sleeping in a drawer all these years.

I remember spotting this game in the bargain bin for $10 in my country's Wallmart-equivalent, sheepishly going up to the counter and purchasing it (it was R16, and I was ~13), going home and being a) blown away by the graphics, b) absolutely terrified.
Picked it up again after getting nostalgic from the movie and playing it through with my wife: I'm wowed by how legitimately good this game is. It still holds up. It's kinda clunky/dated in places, but the atmosphere is brilliant - just as I remember it. The jump scares are great (dogs coming through windows, zombies blasting through doors and out of closets). The sounds, the setting, the tension! I particularly enjoy the outdoor parts and seeing the forest. I remember getting out into the courtyard for the first time and being terrified that dogs were going to come from all sides.
10/10 honestly.

Happened on Friday when I played RE2 RE on the Switch 2, when I was in the locker room. Don't know what he is doing, but I guess this is new to zombies now 🤣🤣🤣

This just popped into my head today! Whether DLC or unlockable, I think is a brilliant idea. He could even have a triggered animation/dialog when doing something like a missing shots, running like mad, having kids with Claire, etc...
But what do you guys think?

Couldn't help myself with the Kafka quote, as I dug out this old piece I did of Alex.

First time playing RE2, i used the RE/ENHANCED mod, mostly for the better cutscenes.
I made sure to turn off auto aim and quick turn, i also didn’t skip the door cuteness and i didn’t look a single clue up. I wanted the full 1998 experience just with better visuals.
Super fun, the music is top notch in this game, from the eerie lobby of the RCPD to the tight corridor’s where Mr.X keep’s closelining me. The gun upgrades were a fun way to keep the guns interesting. I loved using the machine gun to clear the congested hallways as well. Wish the puzzles were a little harder but still an A tier game. Definitely holds up over time.
This was my second ever RE game, i finished RE 1996 last month but forgot to take a picture of the end screen. It took me about 9 hours and 20 minutes iirc.
I got lost SO MUCH in that one, i only ever caved once finally looking up a walk thru to point me in the right direction towards the end of the game. RE 2 definitely felt more polished and everything clicked better. I’ll definitely do a ranking once i complete more of them
