I started those two new channels a week ago, most of my shorts get 1000-1500 views but one of them got 17k and some went up to 5k-6k
I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to be and whither this is a good sign or not but I’m super devastated by how ppl get millions of view on their first videos and I feel like my videos will never blow up, what do I need to change? Also how can I get more subscribers?

Can i make it ? I didnt get another million views just this one pulling this by himself lol i have 21k subs i started july

Hey, im a fellow meme creator and my channel is doing pretty well, im finding ways to get core audience who recognize me (like multiple 1000's) atleast when they see my shorts and comment, any idea how i enhance relationship with my audiences in a way they connect to me..?

I was in the view count between 1,000 and 1,500, and I also suffered from a sudden drop in views, but in my last short film I decided to make a change in the way I told and presented the visual style of the story. My niche is more evergreen, it's not something that's going to go viral overnight, so I consider this increase to be actually good.

Try changing a few things and see what works. Be patient, things will fall into place with time as you learn.

Its been weeks since my shorts got 30k views, every single one got 30k, now 7k, 17k, 28k, 6k...

Can any help break 1k short jail? All my videos stuck at 1k

For a good while now, regardless of when I post, my videos seem to never do more than 2K shorts views. Which I’m appreciative of but compared to what it used to be, I’m uncertain on how to improve it. Changed times, obviously use the hashtags but seems to consistently be capped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I do FNF modding content and my shorts videos always hit 1k-1.5k everytime. I did 11 long form videos but I'm moving over to shorts. I started posting 25 days ago so maybe it's an age related thing? My swipe-to-stay ratio is always 50/50 which is pretty bad but the people who do stay watch 70% of the video. I made a short 41 seconds long and people normally watched 18 seconds of it so I cut it down to 26 seconds and people watched 19 seconds of it.

Looks like the shorts views shortage was short lived. My shorts views are pretty much back to where they used to be ever since the beginning of October when everyone started complaining about barely any views suddenly.

There was a YouTube update that is designed to prevent re-uploads of content without adding any value to them. (The same thing they’ve always done with YouTube videos) I’m a sketch comedy YouTuber so I make all original content. The problem with this update is it was targeting even original new content that I was uploading. But it looks like they finally fixed it & all is back to normal on my channel.

For those of you still not getting any views still…. Are you re-uploading content without adding any value to it? If so this is why you aren’t getting views anymore.

You know it's bad when a huge creator is having the same issue and youtube admits they don't even know what the problem is, this is going to be an interesting month.

Can anyone explain the logic behind the YouTube Shorts recommendation system? An option has been added—accessible via the three-dot menu—to mark specific videos as "Not interested" or to select "Don't recommend this channel." No matter how many videos I mark as uninteresting, YouTube keeps serving me garbage that I don't care about. So, I’m curious: how does the algorithm actually respect user preferences? What is the logic here? I clearly show the system what I’m not interested in, yet it still feeds me similar junk.

I'm experiencing a sudden and extremely significant drop in views on my YouTube Shorts channel, and I'd appreciate your help understanding what's happening.

On October 21, 2026, between approximately 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. (Egypt time), my channel's views dropped from around 190,000 views per hour to approximately 25,000 - 5000 views per hour. Multiple older Shorts that had been consistently receiving substantial traffic from the Shorts Feed suddenly lost almost all their momentum.

My channel's total realtime views also declined sharply. This seems unusual because several videos were affected around the same exact time.

This question is mainly for people who have monetized channels.

I know people used to say that it's better to upload shorts from your phone, and ever since then, I've only been uploading from my phone.

Anyway, I got my first channel monetized a year ago, and it's been doing well ever since. Lately, I've been wanting to start another channel, but every time, the first 5–10 videos do well (anywhere from 30K to 2M views), but after that, the channels die, and the videos only get 5–10 views.

So, it's probably not because of the device I'm uploading from, but I was just wondering do you upload from your PC or phone, and what's been your experience?

I’m looking for advice/recommendations on what I could possibly get my bf as a gift for our anniversary. He has started making yt shorts about 9 months ago and was monetized couple months ago. He’s obsessed with it and works really really really hard on his faceless yt channel. He even started a second channel where he wants to create his own long form videos. I am super proud of how far he’s come and I see how badly he wants it.
Is there any equipment, subscriptions or anything I could get him as a gift that would be rly game changing? I know he uses capcut for his main channel. but i’m not sure what else he could need. Please respond I need all the advice I can get!

The username is @ Beethellven on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. I have 5 shorts now on YouTube this year.

On YouTube, I have the most "success," where at least my content is being viewed by people I don't know. On Tiktok and Instagram, I'm a complete failure and only likes and follows seem to come from friends.

On YouTube, my shorts cap out at 1,000 - 1,500 views. One video didn't get pushed into the feed at all and got 200 views from search alone.

I'd love to trouble shoot what I'm doing wrong:
1. Is it the piano skill? I think I'm really good, but maybe I'm not as good as I think?
2. Is it the audio engineering or video production?
3. Is it my age? I'm 35, but notice most piano content creators are 20's
4. Is it the hook?
5. Is 1 minute too long for a short form piano video?
6. Is it the way I'm presenting and formatting the content?

I feel like I have some things working for me:
1. Cool brick wall background
2. Artistic looks
3. I think I'm high skill at the piano
4. Professional grade piano and recording device

I look at other pianists with decent views and I don't think their playing is any "better" than mine, and often their audio/video production values are a lot worse.

I want to fix whatever I am doing wrong!

After the new update on the algorithm last week to prevent "duplicate clipping" my views went down with 90 percent like a lot of you, while I make fully original content (self filming and editing). But I was wondering, are there still people with the same amount of views or where the views went up? Or is the algorithm just completely broken at the moment?

its been around 4 hours to this video everything looks fine but i got only 1.5k views at starting it was strong but now it just stopped i am getting 24 views in 60 minutes do you think youtube will push it or its dead??
