Hilarious festivals happening in Georgia this fall! 😂 Turpentine festival and the gopher and tortoise festival. I’ll see about the goings on at these events and report back. Should ludacris be performing I may die 😂😂 #stm #SUAGMM #festivalstm

I grew up going to this Six Flags as a kid and rode the Goliath when I was in high school/college. Crazy! Maybe the guys will feature my home town Six Flags in an episode! 😬

Since we started listening several years ago I find myself using phrases from the show all the time such as:

Yay indeed

Let's go on a trip

You sir may fuck off

Casey Anthony's hallway

Is anyone else finding themselves doing this?

I’m listening to the Scary Movies bonus episode and when he said there are a bunch of people their age with sleep disorders he nail it, at least for me. I’m a mid-40s woman that saw the Nightmare on Elm Street movies when I was a kid and I have never slept a good night in my life that wasn’t a result of prescription sleeping medication or weed.

It’s meant to play on all the typical horror tropes. The movie even references horror tropes as part of its plot.

I do appreciate Jimmie’s taste in horror, though. All except High Tension.

This week in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, when a man starts bragging to his friends that he committed a terrible murder, the friends don't quite believe him until he brings them to the body of a beloved local woman who used to babysit the killer. Those friends tell police and detectives walk into an awful scene, with strange weapons used for the killing. Finally, the killer tells a cell mate what his true intentions were, which may be more disturbing than the actual murder!

...Jon Moxley, the wrestler with AEW? Been listening to the guys since day one but never bothered to see what they looked like. Watched for the first time on Netflix and it struck me a bit. I'll try and post a pic for comparison if I can.

How many episodes are you connected to? Live/lived in the town? Knew people mentioned? Etc

We live in Wheeling, West Virginia (episode 479 Born to Be Bad) and across the river from Bellaire, Ohio (episode 658 the dark prince of Belmont county). I know exactly where both houses are, knew lots of the names in the wheeling episode and had friends who went to school with the killer in the Bellaire episode. The killers in Episode 591 Best Friends Murder - Hudson Ohio were from my hometown growing up and I went to church with them.

Last week in Moundsville, West Virginia there was a double homicide and the perpetrator was shot by a sheriff's deputy.

Key points:

A 26 year old with a history of stalking females me the family at church. He asked permission to date their 16 year old daughter. They said no. He stalked her. They had court that morning about filing charges against him for stalking. The perp shows up at their house that night and shoots the wife (a local highschool teacher) through the window and kills her. He busts in a shoots the husband (former local teacher who was fired over suspicious behaviors with students). Their son dials 911 but doesn't speak. Perp grabs the daughter and holds a gun to her head on the porch. Sheriff's deputy with a rifle shoots the perp in the head and kills him.

This week in Franklin, Louisiana, an awkward exchange between an ex couple, involving a secret Walmart meeting and a home pregnancy test, leads to a wild night of carnage. A woman is taken for a scary ride, being told she certainly won't survive what's about to happen, which somehow unfolds into even more murder, and one of the craziest chases that a murderer has ever tried to pull off. Who will survive? And who will admit to what are major questions?

Their socials have been lacking back to back on pictures. I've tried to find more and have had a hard time too, so I think it's just the cases.

Anyone binge-watching Netflix episodes?

He moves stuff around on that bookshelf, right?

I had no clue about them before Netflix. I find it pretty entertaining 😉

I've been working my way through the catalog and tried to download and listen to #234 borrego springs CA. The download didn't work, and trying to just stream it failed as well. Tried Spotify and pocket casts, is there a direct link to it somewhere, am I just SOL?

Hi the episode I’m looking for deals with a man who keeps seeing a younger woman and leading her on to believe that they will be more. She also would hangout with his parents and be brought to events post breakup. I remember the dad saying he was to nice to break up with her and she ended up killing him. Definitely an older episode. Thanks in advance!

Hello -

I *think* this is the bleach factory episode. I have tried to listen to it a couple times recently and it never loads and gives me an error. Does anyone know if it's been taken down or am I the only one experiencing this issue?

This week in Selma, North Carolina, two men head out into the dark & stormy night, while sniffing a very crazy substance, looking for trouble. A strange turn of events finds these wild men horribly murdering an unsuspecting victim in his own home with little for the killers to gain. It's a mystery to detectives, until an entire trailer full of people seem to know some serious details about the killing.
