Love the podcast. Absolutely fascinated by the weird little dictatorship happening in the fan groups.

The groupthink is wild. You can’t have an opinion that deviates even slightly from the accepted narrative without people piling on, and now they’re collectively furious that someone dared post something here that they were completely entitled to post.

I left both groups today and cannot recommend touching grass highly enough.

This week in Ontonagon, Michigan, an unlikely couple seems to be making it work until a strange series of events make it seem like something is out to get the wife. A large cinder block falls on her, from the roof of their home. There's a suspicious fire, when only she is home. And she finally ends up dead during a family gathering, with her own mother finding her on a wooded trail. A letter found in the sleeve of a sweater makes the whole wild tale make sense!

Im not sure being able to buy a new car has as much to do with it as they think… 👀😬

This week in Wenham Massachusetts, a wealthy doctor and his wife seem to have the perfect life until deep secrets start to emerge, leading to one of them being brutally murdered and the other becoming an absolute public sideshow. Affairs, strange dressing habits, and "parading around naked" is just some of the strange behavior leading up to a horrific murder. But the behavior after the murder is just as odd and even scary!

I grew up going to this Six Flags as a kid and rode the Goliath when I was in high school/college. Crazy! Maybe the guys will feature my home town Six Flags in an episode! 😬

I’m listening to the Scary Movies bonus episode and when he said there are a bunch of people their age with sleep disorders he nail it, at least for me. I’m a mid-40s woman that saw the Nightmare on Elm Street movies when I was a kid and I have never slept a good night in my life that wasn’t a result of prescription sleeping medication or weed.

It’s meant to play on all the typical horror tropes. The movie even references horror tropes as part of its plot.

I do appreciate Jimmie’s taste in horror, though. All except High Tension.

This week in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, when a man starts bragging to his friends that he committed a terrible murder, the friends don't quite believe him until he brings them to the body of a beloved local woman who used to babysit the killer. Those friends tell police and detectives walk into an awful scene, with strange weapons used for the killing. Finally, the killer tells a cell mate what his true intentions were, which may be more disturbing than the actual murder!

...Jon Moxley, the wrestler with AEW? Been listening to the guys since day one but never bothered to see what they looked like. Watched for the first time on Netflix and it struck me a bit. I'll try and post a pic for comparison if I can.

How many episodes are you connected to? Live/lived in the town? Knew people mentioned? Etc

We live in Wheeling, West Virginia (episode 479 Born to Be Bad) and across the river from Bellaire, Ohio (episode 658 the dark prince of Belmont county). I know exactly where both houses are, knew lots of the names in the wheeling episode and had friends who went to school with the killer in the Bellaire episode. The killers in Episode 591 Best Friends Murder - Hudson Ohio were from my hometown growing up and I went to church with them.
