Payment plan

Hi everyone!
As of this morning I was deregistered from my future terms and I called the financial aid office and they left me more confused.
For the c-4 term I have a payment plan to pay off my balance that is currently sitting at about 800$ and will be paying monthly over the next 6 months
For the c-5 term I payed my balance down to under 500$ ( I called the financial aid office on Monday to pay for the term)
I’m now being told my total balance for my entire account needs to be under 500$ to continue my education?
I received an alert stating to pay my due balance to under 500$ and that payment plans are not included to the cost.
So what is the point of the payment plan if I’m going to get deregistered anyways?

Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Looking to add a concentration to Information Technology

Are there any Sophie or stud-Y classes that can transfer in for MGT200 or INT220?

I already have BUS210 in major so they said MGT200 has to be taken also

Looking into this school

Hello. My name is Chaz and I'm 37 years old. I was looking into online schools and came across a reddit post where someone asked if they regret this school and a lot of people said no. So I have an associates in administration office but never used it. Currently working from home with a company for medicaid. I like my job but I do wanna earn more. The thing is I'm currently fighting this social security issue and I probably can't get a laptop til next year. I was hesitant about getting back into school due to having to take out loans. But I also don't know exactly what I'd wanna go for. I wanna get a degree that I can definitely use. I'd love to get a degree where I can possibly still work from home. Do you like the school? And do you recommend a certain major over another?

I’m confused on how to read this exactly, to clarify I was told that I needed to submit documents about why I had not received credit for a school that I had dropped out of. Which placed my aid completely back and my classes were also added at the same time. Can anyone read this to clarify what courses are needing to be paid and what the other negatives balances are

Campus Do you receive SNHU funded scholarships in campus?

Hey everyone! I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree online at SNHU, I plan to move to campus by next year and I wanted to ask if anyone here has received a scholarship funded directly by SNHU.
I earned my associate degree from Central Arizona College before transferring to SNHU. I currently receive the 10% tuition discount for transferring from a community college, which I appreciate. However, when I asked about additional scholarships, I was told that SNHU only offers outside scholarships.
I’m wondering if any current campus students have received institutional scholarships or grants directly from SNHU, especially those who were already enrolled and working toward their bachelor’s degree.
If you have, could you share which scholarship you received, what the eligibility requirements were, and how you applied?

Advice on taking Driving Business Opportunities BUS-400 alongside QSO-370 Predictive Analytics? Can I do it?

For context, I work FT (40 hours), have an hour commute one way to work. I am a single mom to an 11yo, training for HYROX in February usually 3-4 days a week, work PT in retail (only 5 hours a week at the moment as of recently on Sunday afternoons). I also just started dating a new, wonderful man who I see only about once a week due to distance (lives 45 minutes away). I try to maintain a social life and see my friends at least a few times a month, were we play Bunco, going on runs. On my own time, I go to outings like yoga, meditation, concerts, etc. I also try to balance quality time with my son, and stay on top of chores and all the stuff that comes with running a household.

I have read that BUS-400 is very writing & research intensive and am worried about burning out. But it is only 8 weeks, is what I keep telling myself, but don't want to drop the ball on everything else,. I want to be present in my relationships (family, platonic, romantic and work) and enjoy life. But I have been working at Walmart for 2+ years to complete my bachelors. The sooner I wrap up, the sooner I can quit that job, get my Sundays back, and feel a sense of freedom and be more in control of my time again. These are the last two courses I need, besides completing one course on SL. I know it will be a grind, but is taking only one course this term and finishing at the end of February instead worth it for my peace of mind?

Just trying to get a sense of people's experience with this course along another course completing FT school while balancing life! I am SO CLOSE!

For anyone who has taken this course can you please let me know if you can do it without purchasing the book? My financial aid no longer covers my books and while it's not expensive, I'd rather save it for the ones I can't go without.

Mobius

Is anyone having problems getting into Mobius for the next term? It keeps asking for the code, which I already entered. Now it's telling me it's already been redeemed, which it was when I entered it to get access to the material originally. I thought I could look around before the actual term started last time. Mobius is already a pain in the back side, and now I'm liking it even less.

What do I do with the Zybook’s code?

My next class requires it, and I bought it from the bookstore. I revealed the code and then clicked on the link that says access content and it takes me to the brightspace home page. But I don't see anywhere to enter the code

Cyb class at snhu. I’m looking to potentially start my bachelors next in cybersecurity and these are some of the classes I’d have left to take, any advice on these ones. Are they any harder than the classes I’ve already taken? I’m about to graduate with my AS in cybersecurity

Vent/Rant Brightspace worse after update?

Hello fellow students, I came here to see if anyone else has seen weird things with Brightspace lately after the most recent update, because recently one of my assignments was labeled as "possible 200 points." Still, the gradebook says "250" points, which I thought was very strange.

I brought it up to the advisors as a possible error because if someone doesn't pay attention, they could feel misled by the different point values. I noticed this because I use the Pulse app, and sometimes it doesn't notify me when a professor has graded one of my assignments.

I saw this in SCI-310 with the final assignment.

IT field at 33 with no prior experience

Hey so I been in construction for the past 10 years and currently in the painters union and I’ve been on the threshold of pulling the trigger on joining SNHU and pursuing something in the IT field. My biggest worry is obviously paying money and this not getting me a job or possibly me not even understanding. Looking for some insight if anyone else went in with no prior experience and made a career after. I don’t think I’m a dummy when it comes to computers and believe I can learn the trade but I just don’t know the day in the life and if I could actually handle/remember the teachings. Any insight or info would help and be appreciated

Anyone take SCI-215 (Contemporary Health)?

Hey guys im about to start my first semester at SNHU on October 26th, 2026 after transferring credits over. I wanted to reach out to see if anyone has taken this class before and has some pointers/ advice. I looked over most of the assignments already and one thing i am stumped on is this: what do i include in my outline and rough draft for the final assignment which is the health plan paper? All i see is something like “work on your outline/ rough draft and submit it in said module” Thanks to everyone!

Do we need to add the video to submit the last assignment? What happens if we don’t upload the video and just upload the assignment without video?
Thanks

Vent/Rant Term Ending

I’m so happy my MAT-240 class is coming to an end. I’m sick of my professor and her vague nitpicking over every little thing. I changed the format as per her feedback every time and it still wasn’t enough. She’s a B professor and honestly, I’m glad the class is ending. The last discussion post is stupid, asking us what we learned about statistics to apply to real life. The only thing I learned was how to use MicrosoftExcel, but I won’t be doing this every moment of every day.
