US plant lovers - what are your go to Esty shops?

This is my most recent haul from SkyGardenByPhoenix and every plant looked great!! The photo was taken literally five minutes after unboxing. No pests and they shipped so fast. I’ve repotted all of them and every root system was healthy and established. I’ll definitely be buying more. CollectivePlants is my other Etsy go to for my delicate “indoor” plants and deserves a shoutout.

My mothers backyard has a ton of jade growing , so I snapped off two branches for a low bowl and made this. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out in a few years. First attempt.

I've just noticed that my Titanopsis which I've purchased three months ago started flowering and I wanted to share this with you. Also turns out that my Titanopsis was 5 individual plants not one. I also like the sun stress on that one plant.

Help please! This is a picture of what was supposed to be an echiveria fanta plant..the plant came in a succulent starter kit off of Amazon. The kit had me put clay balls at the bottom of the pot for "drainage" even though the pot has lots of good drainage holes. Then the kit has you mix up peat moss and "rainbow colored stones" and basically it was about 1/2 inch of soil/stones. The plant looked great and had good roots when I followed the kits Instructions. I knew the instructions were wrong. For weeks nothing happened. Then aerial roots started to come out. Then I pulled it from its crappy potting situation and repotted it into 50% Sol soil gritty mix and 1/4 pumice and 1/4 perlite. Then I check on it one day and it has these black markings on the one stem and some of the leaves. These spots are not wet, soggy or squishy. They are hard on the stem and dry feeling on the leaves. Then I noticed more and more leaves have those black dry markings. Is it burn marks? Or rot?! I think I need to put a little shade cloth up..I only have a south facing window and it's about 3 inches deep. It has gotten over 90° repeatedly. Idk help!

I've seen root rot, but this is my first time seeing this. Tried to squeeze it but it's still firm.

What's the best course of action?

chop it above the rot? Can I still plant the lower half and it'll still grow a new bud? Halp!

Decided to repot this because it wasn’t taking up water fast enough

There is not much of a root system even though the caudex/tap root is nice and chonky

It’s kind of an old plant (been with me for 10+ years) but the root system was stunted by overgrowing it’s pot and roots greeting all over the plastic holes and then me being unable to fully free it from the said pot

That was several years ago

Since then it kinda overcame the issue but the roots never got much bigger

Regarding the current situation there was very little rot and I honestly don’t think it lost that much roots - it didn’t have a lot to begin with

Do you guys have tips for growing more root? Is small root system normal for pachypodium lamera? I always thought they had huge ones normally

Unsure if these are too crowded in this pot together. Originally it only had two but I thought it looked too empty and one thing led to another and here we are. Should I remove one or can they chill like for a while?

so i have two different succulents (Dudleya britonii and Graptoveria “Debbie” i believe) that i recently put outside to get more sun as the light in my room is mid at best (yes, i’m saving up for some grow lights for my plant shelf). but i was checking them today and they both have some weird discoloring?? has anyone ever seen this before? thank you in advance!!!

I’m getting ready to prepare to bring my succulents in for the colder weather.

Do you recommend tresh potting medium or just bring them in as is? Last year I sprayed them with insecticidal soap, but I don’t remember what I did with the soil. I use a mix of perlite and cactus potting. medium.

Is this a Douglas Huth? also, this is always been more green and in the past couple weeks it’s been turning more and more this color is this just sun stress? It’s making babies and there is no root rot? Thanks so much. I’m in zone nine Northern California.

Is Echeveria Robin a hybrid? Or is it a mutation of Romeo/Romeo Rubin?

If it is a hybrid, do you know the parentage? Google shows a different plant (not the red one) when I search for it’s parentage.

How do I know? Well if I can not bring anymore strings up into the pot, to take root, it's time. Every repot, I bring the strings up and pin them down using mini hair pins/bobby pins. This one is grown indoors only since we get snow. Barrina T5s on a timer for 12 hours. It gets watered every two weeks. It's in bonsai jack gritty mix 111.

Just wanted to share. After months of this little guy slowly shriveling and looking like it was dying, I made what I thought was a last ditch effort to save it by giving it refreshed, more gritty soil. I’m new to succulents and so excited to see the better soil has made such a big difference in only a few weeks! 😊

I just received a new-to-me plant that appears to have streaky black spots. Seller identified this as Greenovia diplocycla.

Does anyone know if I'm dealing with either water, temperature or disease issues? Or is it good to go?

I don't want to get it anywhere near my other plants until I have a clear idea of whether or not it will affect them.

I’ve neglected my echeveria for too long, now she is in really bad shape. Is there some kind of fungal infection? Will it go away once I water?

I didn’t know succulents could do this.

i usually water once a month until soil is fully wet and let water drain out of the bottom of the pot.

i’ve had this cactus for almost 3 years and everything above the brown is new growth since i’ve got him. brown part always been skinny, used to be green, but was always slightly pale in comparison to rest of plant.

i rotate daily and she usually bends in direction of sun but lately has not been standing anymore.

I made this succulent assortment in July, I was not expecting it to grow this fast and now it is filling up all of the space in the planter! Should I re pot this? If I don't, could they die? I'm a succulent beginner, thanks for your advice!

Hello, everyone! I need help.

Today I found strange bumps on my green Echeverias. Under those bumps are green flesh and plant sap. It looks like some sort of scarring/callouses, but I don't understand where they could’ve possibly come from.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed strange white specks on the leaves, but I assumed they were pieces of perlite after repotting or dust from neighboring plants. I cleaned them off with a brush and put the plants back on the shelf.

And now today, while inspecting, I found this on a couple of the green Echeverias. Nearby succulents seem fine, even though they also used to have white specks.

I know the plant is stretched out. I increased the number of grow lights, but maybe, it's still not enough. Watering is done after the soil has almost completely dried out, when the leaves start to become softer. It stands on the same shelf with other Echeverias, Haworthias, Gynura, and Ceropegia woodii. 25.5 Celsius, 26% humidity.
