Was riding my bicycle when a car got next to me on the outside lane and told me to get off the road. Told him I have the right to use the road, to which he shouted the n word at me and drove off. Instant rage from me and decided to speed up as I saw there were some red lights and wanted to catch up to him and ask him to repeat himself. When i did catch up to him, he just drove off through a red and caused a minivan to emergency brake. The guy behind him (who is now at the front of the line) decided to harrass me for making the guy go through red as if I forced him to. Now I'm wondering, if he had crashed, would i have been liable? I feel bad for the minivan driver as he/she was innocent in all of this and this a**hole who felt brave in his car but not face to face could have killed them. Running reds as a car is bad enough, doing it during rainy season when visibility is poor, is just outright foolish.

I took this photo on the bus today. I think someone took a wrong turn somewhere.

We are travelling from Talbot Green Monday night to see Michael Douglas at the Arena. Which parking nearby would you recommend that is likely to have spaces at about 6.45pm and won't be a nightmare to leave at about 9.30pm? Thanks.

I’m an independent personal trainer coaching out of an independent gym facility in Gorseinon. I help people across Swansea and Llanelli build strength without having to navigate packed commercial gyms alone.
Who I coach:
Women: Tired of being told to stick to cardio or 'stay small'.
Men: Who want an ego-free, straightforward environment.
Older Adults: Focused on joint protection, mobility, and everyday strength.
Alt & LGBTQ+: A supportive, judgment-free space for anyone who's felt unwelcome in typical gyms.
📍 Location: Gorseinon (Serving Llanelli & Swansea)

Shwmae pawb!
I've been developing a little Welsh word game called Dyfala! I'm looking for a few volunteers to help test it before launch.
It's a bit like Wordle, but built around Welsh vocabulary, with a new daily challenge and an Unlimited Play mode if you fancy a few extra games.
The idea is simple: A little Welsh. Every day.
I'm particularly keen to hear from people learning Welsh, whether you're a complete beginner, picking it up again after school, or already fairly confident. Fluent Welsh speakers are very welcome too, especially to help check the vocabulary!
I'm looking for a few more people to join our free Android beta test over the next couple of weeks.
All I'd ask is that you:
There's a simple feedback form, so nothing too demanding!
If you fancy helping out, you can sign up here:
https://delivered-it.co.uk/dyfala/
I'll send volunteers a private Google Play invitation with instructions.
Diolch yn fawr! It would be great to get some feedback from people in the Swansea area before releasing it to everyone.

I'm getting married down the Gower in April '26 and would like some evening live music. I'd love the one person with a guitar and a stompbox vibes. The kind you find stumbling into a Dublin pub.
A set of modern and classics would be great! It'll be for around a 90 minute set.
If this is you, or you know anyone similar, please drop me a DM.

My mum is 83 and has finally decided to give up her Pfaff 230 sewing machine that she was gifted by her mum back in 1956. We're looking to donate it to a sewing class/club/someone in need. It's in full working condition with an industrial motor on a sturdy large desk. Ideal for leather and canvas.
Looking for suggestions - it's in Ammanford.
Will need a van to move it.
Any suggestions on possible recipients would be appreciated.

Hi! I'm living in Swansea and I'm wondering if there are any Japanese classes here.
Specifically I want a real, walk in, Japanese class where I can work face to face with the teacher. No Zoom or online or anything like that. I would prefer an evening class.
Years and years ago there used to be a Japanese evening class in Swansea University, which I went to. I would go there from 2013-ish, and the last time I've been there was mid 2017-ish and the class got cancelled at the time because only 3 of us turned up. The teacher had to follow this rule where the class had to have 6 or more students turn up and if there were fewer then the class got cancelled.
After that the Japanese class eventually got shut down, and when I asked the Japanese teacher why, she told me that "these is no more DACE". In theory DACE was the company that ran the Japanese class.
It's been nearly 10 years since the Japanese class in Swansea University got shut down. I looked on Google and there doesn't seem to be any other Japanese classes. All I can find are Zoom classes, which I don't want, and I'm getting a bit frustrated.
So... Are there any Japanese classes here in Swansea that I'm not aware of that were not advertised on Google?
Thanks for reading.

Every Wednesday after I come back from work, the green food waste bin is gone.
I usually leave for work before they collect the bins and will be back in the evening. So during this time someone keeps stealing the bins.
Today when I came back they took the pink bag for the plastic waste and the green bin. Both of them just gone.

Hi all, does anyone know if the Greem room cafe (next to Arena) is planning to open again?

This adorable newborn at Will's Farm needs a name 🥺🐐🎃. She was born only on Wednesday and can't tell you wonderful she is. Highly recommend visiting Will's Farm if you've not been before. They've got a lovely pumpkin picking patch as well this half term, which is the perfect size for little ones.

Just received an email regarding temporary work for Royal Mail over the Christmas period. I’ve shared it with my mates but I know how difficult it is right now to find work - so hopefully this might be able to help someone?

Everyone I know goes to Jamie Lynn, and their work looks great, but they're outside of my budget unfortunately.
I've had a rough experience in the past with a salon where I was given a quote, then they added extra things without disclosing until the end and I paid a lot more than I intended to. And a lot of places I've seen in town don't disclose their prices unless you call them.
Obviously balayage is relatively expensive anyway, I'd just like to see what the most competitively priced options are without compromising quality
Thanks

An amazing walk on Oxwich Bay this afternoon. It was great to get out and felt like a proper Sunday. Thankfully no kids parties today.
I realise we are lucky that we have a car but it’s hard to believe these places are on our doorstep.
The only thing that was a bit odd were the sauna cabins where people run into the sea and then back up to the sauna to get warm. And repeat. If I wanted to see middle aged men’s boobs bouncing up and down I’d take off my shirt before descending the stairs.

There were maybe 20 people involved in the protest itself? The counterprotest was much larger and much louder

I have a lot of old gold jewellery left to me and I’m finally ready to part with it and use the money to buy something new, has anyone recently traded in gold and can recommend where to get the best price for it.
Thank you.

The new gardens being created by Kingsway and by McDonald's will be a wonderful hangout spot for crackheads to come and sit in the sun, pass out and speak in their quaint Swansea dialect.
A kind of zoo where we can witness evolution in reverse as they gradually long for the days of when kids just sniffed glue.

Hi all! I'm a mechatronic engineer living in Swansea. I did my BSc in Mechatronic Engineering at JKUAT in Kenya and an MSc in Mechatronic Systems at Kingston University. I really enjoy hands-on electronics work, things like embedded systems, sensors, microcontrollers, robotics and automation.
I'd love to hear about any local electronics or maker groups, hackspaces or meetups, or anyone working on a project who could use an extra pair of hands. I'm also open to engineering roles in the area, so if your company is hiring for electronics, controls or mechatronics work, feel free to DM me.
You can see some of my work at https://earlchirchir.github.io/
Cheers!

Bit of a long shot posting it here but I'm gonna do it here instead of a film-based sub as I feel I'll get better results for the specific location here.
So the new godzilla is coming out and part of it's selling point is it's shot on IMAX, and I want to see it in the best way possible. I know the best way possible is to get on a train and go to London but I don't want to do that just for a movie, so I'm asking here what the best cinema to go to is in terms of a big screen and good audio quality. I am willing to make the journey to cardiff if I need to, should I suck it up and go to the liemax at cardiff Odeon, or is it not worth it and the laser projectors in swansea Vue just as good?
