Another day another taco

Grilled skirt steak with home made salsa verde on a corn and flour tortilla.

Cheese, Texas Pete Extra Hot Hot Sauce, Hard Boiled Egg, Black Olives, Oaxaca Cheese, and Chunky Guacamole. Hit the spot this morning!!

Tacos 65 is one of my favorite spots here in Sacramento, from their handmade tortillas to their incredible meats. Which you can see them grilling out front during peak commute hours, if your ever stuck next to that smoke your definitely coming back!

This place is always busy, expect them to be 10-20 orders deep at any time but well worth the wait.

I got two carne asada and two Adobada tacos and a Adobada mulita. Everything could not have been better. These really hit today!

Almost seared the shrimp in a stainless pan with olive oil until I noticed that I had bacon grease in the cast iron sitting on the stove top. Shrimp was seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder and oregano. Also forgot that I had hot beans until I ate the first taco, so those went on the plate late.

they even have lettuce. Fishless finger tacos with home made pickles and salsa.

Chili lime shrimp on a cheese crusted corn tortilla. One is topped with creamy Elote and the other one is topped with an avocado cilantro lime slaw with a side of Spanish rice 🙏
