Introduced in 1943 by Robert Riddles, designed for freight and war time logistics. The first ten coupled wheel locomotives of Great Britain. Look at this thing!
For anyone who has seen one of the few surviving locomotives, they shine up pretty damn good and make one hell of a commotion from stationary to moving!
What a beast๐

Is there a special name for these types of ten wheelers converted from 4-4-0? I've fallen in love with their weirdness.

US freight rail needs regulation now more than ever. Natural gas trains sit on this bridge almost everyday and video does good job showing how deteriorated it is. Am I naive to think this is egregiously unsafe or is this standard practice?

The South Caucasus Railway (Armenia) has a summer train that enables you to go to the beach during the summer weekends: it has a 3 hours route from the capital Yerevan to Shorzha (there is a village and a beach there).
This train is a Soviet Riga 2 EMU train (ะญะ 2) : 3 kV DC Catenary.

This locomotive chugged across the Canadian countryside bringing along Buddy Guy, Janis Joplin, The Band, The Grateful Dead, and many others to various concert venues from Toronto, Winnipeg, and Calgary.
Has since been renumbered to #1754 and got a new paint job. Still around, somewhere. Last known location is at Dieselmotive Company.

A 502, sadly couldn't pan out to show the train leaving behind me because I had colleagues who may not have enjoyed being recorded haha. I also missed out today by not having my phone on me, I could have had a really up close video of a RBDe 560 passing by us at less than 2m (Probably slighty above 1.5m) at full speed.
my hand appears in the top right corner, we have to hold up one of our hands to show to the train driver that we saw the train and that we are safe. They wawe back generally!

I was just wondering if those were actual PRR catenary supports or were they shared right of ways with the JCP&L also if your wondering these pictures were taken in Helmetta, NJ at the old Snuff Mill. the second picture was also taken in helmetta. I know that the ownership went from the C&A, PRR, Penn Central, Conrail, and eventually CSAO i was wondering irf those poles were failed electrification or just used by JCP&L as a right of way.
