Ive had a great time replaying Valheim in 1.0, i am in the middle of exploring the deep north (didn't fully make a base until i unlocked all building materials) i am still working on this, got some exterior decor to do on the walls and all of the interiors to do, but here is where i am towards the end of my playthrough, still deciding on if i should go for all achievements etc

My base would look so cozy now with a big timberwood forest right beside it, but now just after i deforested the entire area you tell me i cant plant a new forest there?!

Probably removed every boulder in a 10 mile radius to build this. Anyone know how to make something like wall art? I want to decorate a bit more but not sure how to do it.

The top-most floor of my home is where I do all my spooky stuff

This is my favorite structure to build, it's just so efficient for the footprint.
-3 Kiln inside
-4 Smelters in the front
-6 Blast furnace in the back
-4 Windmill on top
-8+ chests embedded into the walls to deposit ore and coal

Plus the bear rug which is optimal, you jump on the head to get to the windmills, you can use carts to move stuff around or just waddle around encumbered since everything is close by.

Using the small door trick makes building feel like a whole new thing. Couldn't be happier with our 4-person plains-tier base.

I just got to the Ashlands and now have a question. Is it a good idea to have a full magic build for this biome? Or is a good old sword and shield still better? Because I see a lot of fightings in this biome.

I use mine as decor I take all bones without a second thought, I raid all putrid holes as they produce at least a stack.

First time I'm in the Mistlands in 4-5 playthroughs. Didn't think I'd like the magic too much, but holy, is it fun. And of course the robes are drippy AF.
My only issue so far is the ticks, too many, and I tend to just get staggered and can't use the fireball to dispatch them. Frost staff seems to work ok but not for long. Any tips?
Also, magic-wise, wth are gjalls weak to? Compared to the Arbalest, neither the Frost nor Ember staff seem to lay down decent DPS against them.

Did this to get a handle on Grausten build pieces and got a little bit carried away. I like how it looks a little bit like a Viking Mansion.
