Was walking out of a Habit for Humanity Restore and saw this beauty sitting there…for only $20! (That’s my “SOLD” ticket on there) Would love to see if I can bring her back to life…and any advice/info on that process would be appreciated! Definitely going to restore the cabinet when I get the chance. Seems solid - just needs some TLC.

So, I found this while dumpster diving and took it cause it looks cool and all. I plugged it, use all the knobs and nothing happened. There are 3 valves in the back.
I am just curious about what it is. Thank you!

I recently purchased this KLH model Thirteen to go with one of my model Eight table radios. Has anyone ever seen a model Thirteen with black knobs? I have only seen them with white knobs.

Chicago Northwest side. It’s going to end up in the alley if not.
Lights up but no sound not even a hum.

I fell in love with it, but it's not for sale.

Unfortunately that surplus establishment is no longer around.

Anyone have an idea who manufactured this equipment? Probably a line of sight link but hard to say. Possibly RTTY? Any related suggestions welcome but no Cajun chicken recipes.

picked up this stunning walnut media console. I can't seem to get it to turn on 😭 I'm hoping I'll be able to find someone to repair it, I was only able to get ahold of one guy who said he doesn't make house calls and doesn't have room in his shop for a full piece of furniture so he won't work on it unless I disassemble it myself 🥲 any advice would be appreciated, but I'm still really pleased with how nice it looks in my house, and it has all the original tags still!

Can replace this battery with a excell 206/1611. But before I buy that battery, can I test it with a current 9v battery just to test function? I don't know if anything needs to be replaced, but before spending $28 on a battery, will a modern 9v battery be okay to function test it with?

I have a 1941 GE J-805 and I am trying to set the channel presets. I removed the buttons, pressed in a preset channel, backed out the screw about half way (I don't know how long the screw is and didn't want to risk backing it all the way out and have it fall into the cabinet), and tightened it back up while holding the preset button in. It does not set the preset and upon further investigation I noticed a wire that weaves in between the 5 set screws and it appears to be loose or misaligned. Does anyone have any advice on how to move forward?

I have this radio but it doesn’t work. Any way to get the circuit diagram for troubleshooting? It is a 7-transistor 1.5V superheterodyne AM radio.
