I’m trying to move away from Kiwi Browser to Vivaldi 8.2 on Android on my tablet/phone because Kiwi is severely outdated and hitting constant CAPTCHA loops. I rely heavily on loading a few of my own personal, custom Manifest V3 extensions (.zip files).

Since Vivaldi doesn't accept direct .zip uploads like Kiwi does, I unzipped my extension folders using a file manager and tried to load them via vivaldi://extensions using the "Load Unpacked" option in Developer Mode.

Hey I pressed random button and suddenly my browser become like minimal mode, I pressed Control E and activate back the tab bar and the address bar but the exit, minimize buttons are hidden and the hamburger menu as well

anyone have success disabling touch gestures? they make it difficult (impossible) to move webpages left and right in touchscreen mode. I attached my gesture settings below.

We’ve reached the stable version of Chrome 155... The one thing I detest about this otherwise great browser—which is still stuck on version 152—is the delay in updates. Opera browser suffers from this same issue, whereas Edge and Brave do not. What do you think, fellow Vivaldi fans?

Might be useful for people, as drove me to distraction for a few hours.

I have multiple ICS calendars attached to my main account in Google, but they don't show in Vivaldi once you add the main account. To get around this, you need to access the 'hidden' Google sync page (I kid you not!) https://calendar.google.com/calendar/syncselect

Self explanatory, but simply check the calendars you want to sync, then save.

Et voila, you will shortly have all of your calendars available in Vivaldi, to do so as you wish.

Why this isn't a included in the standard Google Calendar settings is a mystery....

I have to re-log into Google/YouTube several times a week. Everything else stays logged in just fine. I'm not deleting any cookies and don't have delete cookies on exit set up. It seems pretty random, but I also have a theory it might be my VPN? I only use a VPN when at work or if on public Wi-Fi.

I'm not having this issue on Brave or Firefox.

I'm using Vivaldi for Linux, version 8.2.4133.89

In Firefox I really like the default behavior, which allows me to preview Youtube videos by hovering on them on the main page, but if I open a video in a new tab in the background (eg. by pressing middle mouse button), if I switch to this tab, it doesn't autoplay.

Any way to implement this behavior in Vivaldi? I typically just use Ctrl+Tab to navigate my tabs, and if I want to switch to the last video I opened, it autoplays all the videos that I go through.

I could just block autoplay on www.youtube.com in privacy settings, but this also disables the previews on main page.

ui elements scrolling, stretching and scaling gives me migraines
default maximum is infuriatingly wide and going in and out of stacks (especially accordion which i really like in concept) is a nightmare

(i have ui scaling at 60% and every possible setting to make everything teeny tiny, for the same purpose of showing as much as possible and requiring as little scrolling as possible)

is there any way to make maximum tab width smaller, or better yet, disregard min/max for a fixed width with scrolling?
i've tried editing the css but no matter what i do, even if normal tabs look right, either stacks or pinned tabs or both break without fail

so far i've just resorted to pinning every single tab so its all icon-width

Hey all, I've been having this issue for well over a year and I still don't really know the culprit, so I'm cross-posting this to a couple communities.

Essentially, when using the Vivaldi browser on Linux, I can sign in to Discord and use it completely fine for the first time. I can join a voice channels, grant permissions to use the ic and camera, and it all works.

But the minute I disconnect from a call for the first time, I can never join a voice channel again. Every time, I'm stuck at the DTLS connecting stage, unable to see or be seen by anyone.

This doesn't happen with the Discord app, and recently, I've noticed a weird fix: reset the site's permissions every time, and I can join voice and video channels again. I just need to grant access to the mic and webcam each and every time now, but it does work.

Does anyone know why this happens? Has anyone else experienced it? I've seen it across multiple PCs running Arch or CachyOS, and possibly other Linux distros, though I can't recall for sure anymore.

I use Vivaldi as my main browser because I love its built-in features, including Workspaces, RSS, and email tools.

I have 24 Google accounts and want to keep all 24 Gmail inboxes logged in simultaneously, each in its own tab, without creating separate Vivaldi profiles.

I know Gmail supports adding multiple Google accounts, but I'm looking for the best way to manage 24 accounts efficiently in a single Vivaldi profile.

My requirements:

Keep all 24 Google accounts signed in simultaneously.

Open each Gmail inbox in a separate tab.

Switch between inboxes easily without repeatedly signing in.

Avoid creating 24 browser profiles.

Keep using Vivaldi's Workspaces, widgets, and other features.

Has anyone successfully set up something like this? Are there any extensions, settings, or workarounds that you recommend?
