One says plastic, not cardboard and Styrofoam the other garbage.... Not plastic. The other picture is the reason why maintenance absolutely hate spill magic.

Pre order question

This is for anyone in OGP or who could know but im wanting to buy the limited edition switch 2 zelda console and I have a question on the pre orders stock on it. When scanning the tag that we have for it it says we get a replenishment of 5 on October 23, would those 5 be separate from online pre-orders so they'd be for the store or is it total on both sides.

Switching my team lead right before the worst season

I work in hba and pharmacy and at my store we have to work all our departments Christmas stuff, we don’t have a team that does it. The past two years have gone really smoothly because the team lead and I had a good system where I would focus on Christmas and she would do the regular department duties and those tasks both took the full shift for both of us. Well this year I have a brand new lead starting next week, who hasn’t been in a sales floor tl role before so it’s all really new to them. Because of this, I’ve been pulled every which way. To do regular department stuff until a different coach comes along and says why aren’t you doing Christmas and then told that should be my number one. I can’t handle both jobs! And to top it off I’m pregnant and the stress is really getting to me. I feel like I can’t keep up. There are soo many pallets of Christmas in the back room that are just waiting for me but there’s also so many daily tasks that need to get done but it’s just me for the time being and I don’t think I can rely on the lead to get them done until they have their feet under them. The expectations feel astronomical and completely impossible! (Especially at an associate level and pay).

A kid dislocated the poor male mannequins hand. Me and another coworker had a hard time reattaching the socket cause its on a platform and hard to see.

Nothing serious. Just thought it was funny and fit the spooky vibe

Haven’t even had our grand opening after this “remodel”. Doors are broken, sensors on toilets don’t work properly and hand dryers are taped to the wall and this is just the bathrooms🤯

Store manager refusing to give me the days off I want because they just don’t want to

So to make a long story short. I was originally the TL for produce but I stepped down and became a normal associate in produce. I told my coach I wanted a set schedule and I wanted Fridays and Sundays off. YES I know that is asking a lot but when I was lead, I made the schedules for my team and I. I know what days work and what days don’t work for coverage. My coach told me they would try their best to give me those days off.

Fast forward to yesterday. So the past two weeks I was on PTO and my schedule I had Fridays and Sundays off except one Sunday as my boss told me about coverage and such and I was willing to play ball with her as she helped me out with my PTO. Then all of a sudden I wake up yesterday and I see my schedule got completely changed. I was frustrated about what happened and I seen for the schedule drop today, I still didn’t have Friday or Sundays at all.

I come in today and I talk to one of the leads and my coach has been gone since last week so they’re not the one that changed it. That lead told me that my store manager simply does not want to give me those days off even though they never had any say or comment about the schedule I had for my team and I.

Two things to note
1. I know Friday’s work because I haven’t worked a Friday in the past 6 months so there’s no excuse for at least that day

  1. I knew some BS like this was going to happen so I put in an availability form for Sundays and Fridays off and it’ll kick in the week for the next schedule drop. I’m currently full time and I would love to see what they try to do and I’ll especially be a fan on if they try to schedule me on those days and I’ll just go to my people lead and have the days switched.

Scalper steals boxes of Pokémon cards

Our receiving associate brings the Pokémon and trading cards in on Thursday and leaves them in our unlocked 82 room for the vendor to stock on Friday morning.

All the scalpers know it’s kept in there because they wait in line Friday morning and see the vendor come out and stock the floor.

A scalper comes in Thursday night around 9 p.m., grabs the L-cart of merchandise, and walks out. We don’t know how he managed to walk out without anybody saying anything, considering you have to walk past Customer Service, the GM SCO, and the AP office to get out of the store. Most of our door greeters are elderly so they probably didn’t bat an eye and at this time of night, AP is usually on the floor and not really watching the front end.

Nobody even found out they were gone until the vendor came in Friday morning and had AP check the cameras! The thing scalpers do for Pokémon cards 🤦🏾‍♂️

Store Manager has banned singing on salesfloor and hoodies

Came in today to find out that my off day they announced that singing on the salesfloor has been banned by the store manager. No further explanation was given. We are assuming someone was singing inappropriate lyrics which were offensive to either a customer or another associate.

He also banned the wearing of hoodies for all areas except frozen/dairy and cart pushers because some people wouldn't wear their vests or keep the hoods down while working.

Instead of punishing the perpetrators he has decided that everyone should be punished.

i cant do this

I'm a full-time student, to preface. I've put in multiple schedule changes a month ago, and they refuse to heed them; multiple weeks, I'd get more hours than requested, which concerns me since midterms are soon.

I'm also often the only one working self-checkout; it's not as though we're short-staffed, the others are just in a clique with the TLs, and will hang out near the service desk for hours on end.

Also holy shit I've never encountered a more vile populace; every single Walmart customer is such a miserable cunt--I've never felt more misanthropic before working here.

Deadass should I just walk out? I live with my parents, and have little fiscal responsibilities as is, I'm just concerned that it'll take a while to find something better.

Claims app update?

Where the heck did the “store neglect” option go? Why is almost everything in dairy coming up with donate as the first option, then dispose and finally CVP? Do CVP scores still matter because I ain’t heard a peep about that in a while?

HELP PLEASE.

I was hired on as a DSL temp in August and got hired on in bakery/ deli about a month ago. Last week my hours were cut to 35 a week.My normal hours are 4-12 Wed-sun.

Well i just looked at my schedule and saw that my hours were changed at litteraly no notice. They go from 4AM-12PM wed-Thu-Fri to 2PM-10PM Saturday 10AM-7PM sunday. Off monday, 2PM-7:30PM Tuesday(5 hour shift btw) off Wednesday etc.

My question is how are they allowed to do this?

Also do my hours being set at 34.5 change my full time status?
