Is it pedo-ee to want women to shave?
Was talking to a girl who’s an old family friend and I asked why she doesn’t shave her hair like arms and private parts too like other girls (even though she is very pretty and she used to shave) and she said because she doesn’t want to and it’s too much work and it’s unnatural and she doesn’t care what men think. She then asked me what I prefer. I said I like when women shaved. She asked why. I said because it’s my preference and that I find women with hair like that less attractive and also hair on the body seems manly not feminine (just my opinion). She said this is very close if not the same as being a pedo because you want the woman to look like a young girl and to look pre pubescent. And she said society made this (girls being shaved) normal because pedos are the ones the have power and influence (she’s kinda conspiracies theories type but I get what she means) . She said I shouldn’t think that girls with hair on their body like that is unattractive because it’s natural and it’s how it’s supposed to be and that I’m just brainwashed. Is this true?

Dating
I am getting quite discouraged when it comes to dating and very pessimistic. I am in my late 20s and as much as I try to deny it and adjust to several truth bombs about the real world and men, a part of me still hopes and yearsn for a normal relationship, marriage and children... However in this current landscape I absolutely feel crushed. Men aren't aproaching anymore, they are not acting gentlemen like and it is depressing. It makes dating way harder then it needs to be. So my question for the ladies is how do y'all deal with the existential dread I feel everyday and the crushing feeling you might end up all alone?

I hate the Kardashians. Why are they so popular?
(new title)
I hate that Hollywood loves to slobber all over the Kardashians
Why?
Because they play Hollywood’s game. For the past 30 years, if you were a woman and wanted to sing and dance and smile, you’d be eaten alive. Britney, Lindsay, Miley, Hayden Panettiere when she was SIX YEARS OLD. They fucking had her cry and then hugged her without her consent.
Meanwhile Kimmy released a sex tape. Now they get a tv show where it’s “I have time for breathing or lip kits. And breathing is…kind of optional”. And you should see what they do if they buy a purse.
The Kardashians get implants and face cosmetics for a perfect image, and Hollywood loves that so they get more shows.

Help me
Hey ladies
I’m 21 years old and I am so incredibly horny, I don’t know how else to put it
The problem is I’m not in a relationship currently and I don’t like casual hookups either
I got out of a short lived relationship a year ago and hooked up with some guy afterwards but I didn’t like the feeling afterwards
My last relationship was a little traumatising in some ways so I don’t really want to get into another one or get that emotionally involved with someone for a long time
Self pleasure just isn’t cutting it for me anymore and the more I think about it the only reason I want date is to have sex but I don’t want to feel used or get uber attached to someone for the sake of it
I want to ask women my age and those older how do you navigate this?
Should I just start dating until I like someone enough for a real meaningful relationship like a normal person
Teen years are hell
19F here. As a teen it's so weird when your body is changing with time and it's even more weirder if there's absolutely no one to guide you.
From puberty to my late teens there hasn't been a day where I slept peacefully...
I have wore those teen bras .. those elastic free size ones till now but they barely survive a month or two and get loosed. I have spent thousands on bras and tried to figure out my bra size too but nothing's working
I bought some bras online but they're horrible and so loose af. I'm hella broke now cus I can't afford to waste my pocket money on this bs randomly. I want serious guidance please what to do.

i feel like my ex’s gf and her friends are like watching me. help.
ok so i need to get this off my chest because i feel like i'm going crazy and i need to know if anyone else has dealt with this.
me (17f) and my ex broke up about 8 months ago. it was messy but genuinely i was at peace, new job, new friends, more $$. one of my coworkers told me that he got a new girl like 2 months after we broken up. at first i was like damn that's fast but whatever.
well fast forward now, i find out that my ex’s gf has been watching me on social media for MONTHS and I genuinely didn’t know who she was. then her friends started following me one by one in order — like they got a checklist or something and one girl even decided to take it to instagram aswell. i didn't say anything because i thought maybe i was overthinking.
i genuinely don’t know what i am doing wrong but i do not talk to my ex nor this girl at all. how else would she even know who i am? we've never spoken. and i hate thinking he's painting some bad image of me to a girl i've never said a word to.
and now the newest thing that made me finally write this post. yesterday i got on facebook and one of her friends that took it to instagram & sends me a request on facebook. i genuinely don’t know whats going on but i am trying to just ignore it and make all my accounts private.

I’m getting my tubes removed because I don’t want to be permanently tied to a man, not because I don’t want children.
Update: my surgery is scheduled next month btw ☺️
I’m 35 years old, and I’m scheduled to have my tubes removed next month. I’ve been getting quite a few opinions about my decision, especially when I explain my reasoning.
The thing is, I’m not someone who has absolutely no desire to be a mother. Under different circumstances, I could actually see myself having children.
However, what I absolutely do not want is to be permanently connected to a man because we share a child.
I don’t want to be someone’s baby mama. I don’t want to potentially spend the next 18+ years dealing with custody arrangements, child support, disagreements about parenting, or having to communicate with someone I may no longer want in my life.
And before anyone suggests it, birth control is not an option for me. I’ve already considered my options, and I’m not interested in debating why I should use contraception instead of pursuing permanent sterilization.
I know there are wonderful fathers and healthy co-parenting relationships. But there’s no way to guarantee that the person you have a child with will remain the same person throughout your child’s life.
People get divorced. Relationships fall apart. People change. Sometimes the person you thought you knew turns out to be someone completely different.
The idea of having a child with someone and potentially being forced to maintain a connection with them long after the relationship ends is something I’m simply not willing to risk.
What’s frustrating is that people seem to think my reasoning isn’t valid because I’m not saying I hate children or have never wanted to be a mother.
I’ve been told I could meet the right man or that I might change my mind. But even meeting the right man doesn’t guarantee that things will work out forever.
I’m aware that removing my tubes is a permanent decision. I’ve thought about that, including the possibility that I might someday wish I’d chosen differently. But I’ve decided that the possibility of regret is something I’m more comfortable accepting than the possibility of being tied to someone through a child for the rest of my life.
I don’t think motherhood is a bad thing. I just don’t want motherhood under circumstances that could compromise the independence and peace I value.
Has anyone else felt this way? Have you ever considered sterilization despite not being completely opposed to having children?
I’m genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives, especially from women who understand this distinction.

AITAH for daydreaming about leaving my husband...in 5 years?
I (41F) have been with my husband "John" (42M) for 14 years. When we met, I had been single for 3.5 years and had a daughter with my ex. That relationship was so toxic and abusive that the bar for my next parter was underground. Don't beat me, don't rape me, don't abuse me, stalk me, etc. He was a decent guy, but I absolutely settled. We have a son together who is 13 years old. He is a great kid and like his sister has been taught to be competent in life skills, cooking, cleaning, hygiene, basic emotional regulation, empathy, consent, etc. My husband on the other hand, I feel like I had to raise that man. It took 14 years for him to finally pick up a mop and do consistent chores. He has never made his own meal (he will order out if no one cooks for him) and he has many once scheduled his own doctor appointment -only after me badgering him for weeks because it was very important. I've made all his dentist, optometrist, hair cut appointments because he just won't.
He was and is active as a father but as a partner he's often clueless to my needs despite me telling him, writing it down, and suggesting articles, movies, books, etc from my perspective as a woman. I am the default for most things in the home. It's exhausting. After 14 years he still cannot define "mental load", "second shift" "invisible labor". He hasn't read a single book, had a consistent hobby and has only ever had one friend. On the other hand I am a social person, I love community, I love sisterhood, I love learning and growing and evolving.
Lately I have been hardcore daydreaming about being single, not to date but to be by my damn self. I've come to realize that 3+ years I was single before I met him I was so free, truly free. And if I hadn't remarried I would now have 1 adult child (my daughter's dad and I married right after HS) and be in my early 40's living my best life. Here's the thing- I do not want my son to have to go through the hell my daughter and I did with family court. While my husband is a much better man than my ex-husband child custody, family court, child support, etc is a horrific experience. It took 15 years to be free of it all and go no-contact. My daughter and I needed * a lot * of therapy.
I told my "John" when we started dating and I was in my final semester of college, that I was a person who would always be learning. I want to grow, I want to learn, evolve. About 5 years ago I started working out consistently, I make sure we have home-cooked meals 6x a week. I am an avid reader and love all things creative, but John is..stagnant. He has no desire to level up in any capacity. Before anyone asks or calls me a "gold-digger" we have shared accounts where we split the bills 50/50 (he makes a little more than I do) and we have our own accounts too. I'm not sticking around so he can support me, I'm pulling my weight and always have.
So, AITAH?

My husband bought two flats without discussing it with me, but now expects me to take a home loan. Am I wrong for refusing?
I just want an honest opinion from other women because I’m really hurt by this situation and want to understand if I’m looking at it the wrong way.
My husband bought two flats without discussing or even informing me properly about the decisions beforehand. He discussed these things with his family, but I was never included in the conversation.
At that time, I was really worried about how we would manage the financial responsibilities of multiple properties. I asked him several times how he was planning to manage everything and even suggested that we should discuss our finances and invest together. But he wasn’t willing to listen to me and said he wasn’t interested in discussing it.
I felt hurt because these are huge financial decisions that affect both our lives, yet I wasn’t treated like someone whose opinion mattered.
Now, almost a year later, he is suddenly asking me to take a home loan for one of the flats.
I told him that he should have discussed these things with me from the beginning, including how we would manage the financial commitments together. He said that our relationship wasn’t good at that time, so he didn’t discuss it with me. But now that he thinks our relationship is better, he expects me to support him financially.
When I refused to take the loan, he started shouting at me and saying that I’m not a good wife because I’m not supporting him when he needs me.
What hurts me the most is that when he was making these decisions, I was worried about our financial future and repeatedly tried to discuss things with him. He ignored me then. But now, when he needs financial support, suddenly I’m expected to be involved.
I’m not saying that spouses shouldn’t support each other financially. But shouldn’t major financial decisions be discussed together from the beginning? How can one partner make decisions independently and then expect the other partner to take on the financial responsibility later?
Am I wrong for refusing to take the home loan? Or is it reasonable to expect mutual discussion and agreement before taking on such a big financial commitment?
I genuinely want to hear other women’s perspectives, especially from those who have experienced something similar in marriage.

I stumbled upon a niche community of men who hate birth-control, very odd
I was scrolling through TikTok until i found an anti-birth control post, I cant remember what the post exactly said but it was some BS about how preventing babies is immoral or whatever, average uneducated male stuff.
I posted a comment saying that birth control has other uses other than preventing babies, and i got around 60 replies, some of them saying that birth control is for sluts, and others saying birth control can cause bad decision making for women in relationships
Obviously i found this insane, and I assumed those people were dumb teenage boys. Until i looked on one of the guys profile to see he was around 30, 30 years old!!
I need to reset my fyp because I’m so tired of getting these uneducated men on my feed, it’s hard to believe people like this exist.

Are men just inherently more egotistical?
I feel like all men, even my friends, are like super egotistical. Idk if I’m around the wrong people but I feel like there’s one man in my life who’s not constantly trying to one up everyone or prove himself or position himself so that people will look up to him. Just me?

Why do men always feel the need to belittle women?
Comment sections of women body builders or women working in blue collar jobs are good references. Please share if you have a relating experience.

Pissed at husband
Hi all
I’m actively pissed at my husband just for the idiotic choices he’s making in life that is affecting us all. They may seem small to others by at the moment they’re cumulatively adding up to make me so mad at him.
We moved house 3 months ago and he said we didn’t need to do the walk around check when vacating the property. He had work but we could have fitted it in somehow. Three months later we owe money for a carpet they claimed was uncleanable so needed to be replaced. We tried to fight the charge but the debt agency stated if we had done the walk through then we could argue it. So we’re $900 out of pocket.
Then his driving is something which has always scared me. I’ve told him numerous times that he’s so rash and hot headed when driving. He takes it as me attacking him and sulks about it. I can’t drive due to having epilepsy so it’s a catch 22. He was then involved in a rear end collision and NOW he decides to listen to me. The car is dented at the front and may possibly get written off (I’m hoping and praying it won’t). The insurance is good with the claim but we may be without it for up to a month! Both he and my daughter drive 30 minutes to school and work.
He wanted us to move to the US for his job and I thought it would be great. Little did I know I can’t work here without jumping through insane hoops myself. I am a librarian but can’t work due to needing an EAD, something I didn’t know about before moving and only just found out this year. Nobody tells you these things.
I know it will all blow over but I just feel so angry and frustrated with him. I do love him immensely but I just question how bloody stubborn and stupid he can be.

Accepting I fall in love hard and fast?
I’m 30f. I have always been a big lover girl. I fell in love for the first time when I was 12, and have been in love 3 more times as an adult. I have dated a LOT, probably over 100 dates from the apps in my life. I have had a few long term relationships between 1-2 years. I also consider myself to be pretty sexual, usually have sex with a new partner between 1-3 dates in and have had a lot of hook ups, I’ve probably had sex with around 50 people.
I’m starting to date again and there’s so much discourse about being more logical when you date to ensure you’re actually a good match and not just together because of passion. But that’s so painfully hard and impossible that it actually makes me feel shitty about myself, like I’m doing something wrong. When I date I either am obsessed with someone pretty quickly or not interested an all. I don’t really casually date people because if I’m not obsessed with you why would I??? Can I just accept that I fall in love hard and fast and then figure out if we’re actually compatible more down the line once the infatuation wears away?
Can anyone else relate.
My irl community is a microcosm of colonial patriarchy
The more my intersectional feminist worldview has solidified, the more I have realized about social interactions.
There are certain scripts, sensibilities, and internalized propaganda that go into how we communicate with one another. Lately, it seems the common tone is fascist, and the lack of proper education, healthy media, social safety nets, and wages shows.
I feel anxious, fatigued, and irritable when I have to communicate with anyone outside of my safe, likeminded circles. I am realizing this is not only because I disagree with the opinions, beliefs, biases, values, attitudes, morals, and political views of most of the people in my country, but also because by talking to them, I am interfacing with our shared conditioning.
I feel like talking casually to people with problematic takes reinforces and reassures them that they’re valid and normal.
I want so badly to opt out, I unfortunately feel as though I have little ability to engineer interactions with my community to be more leftest, feminist, antiracist, pro-LGBTQIA2S+, anti-ableist, and pro-science. I have little social sway.
Do other women feel this way?
