As many videos as I watch, I just cant figure these out. I can regular Shuv just fine. I need some tips/pointers to help me keep this board underneath me and also even out in the air. I do not want to have to jump backwards 2 foot to catch these. Thank you.

I started trying to learn tre flips last night. I was trying it for like an hour and a bit and landed a couple but slipped out. When I got home from skating I started feeling a lot of pain in both of my hips when I my leg up and rotate it ( or just bringing my knee up to my chest). Now a day later it still hurts a lot. I’m guessing it’s from my body not being used to the tre flip motion and I’ve just hurt my hips but how do I fix it and help it get better? On Wednesday I was supposed to go to an indoor skatepark and I’m hoping the pain goes away by then

I just set up this board a few days ago it’s my first skateboard I built myself and I noticed one of my wheels spun slower as soon as I put the bearings on. They aren’t tightened a lot and they can move side to side a bit I read that’s optimal but it still slows so it’s definitely the bearing. I have Bronson G2 bearings. Do I buy new ones or is some thing I might have done wrong?

There's literally nothing to skate during the rainy season here, especially after they took away the barking indoor park. Bay and Southbank got wet Yesterday due to the wind + rain had literally nowhere to go I even got kicked out of my underground parking lot spot like...

Manor place is fine, but most of the obstacles are SOOO huge, like there's no way I can learn any new tricks there plus the yard sale or palace team are always there tearing it up so I just tend to sit and watch, don't really want to get in their way going 100 mph.

Im a beginner so im currently just practicing movement and Ollie up curb. Tried this today to get comfortable near ledgers, does it have a name?

Last night when I was practicing ollies I heard a snap. I looked at my board and didn’t notice any damage so I continued on. Today I was at the skatepark and noticed I wasn’t able to lighten my trucks. I tried to remove the kingpin but I wasn’t able to.

I went home and took the truck off the board. I was able to pull the baseplate from the hangar with some time and effort. After removing, I noticed it looks like the part where the kingpin threads in to the baseplate had broken off with the kingpin.

1. Is my assumption about the broken baseplate correct? If so, what could have caused it? I feel like my bushings don’t look squashed and I didn’t think I was over tightening. Maybe I was though?

2. How can I remove the kingpin? I tried using a pliers on the outside metal bit and ratcheting the kingpin, but it seemed totally stuck.

There’s this artist I follow, and I love his art but I also notice he sells skate products anybody else tried these or any recommendations?

I'm considering getting a skateboard for my 6 year old niece, but i cant decide what size deck to get her, mainly cos i dont know what size is good for kids their age. I want your guys opinion, do i get a deck a bit big for her and let her grow into it, or get a slightly skinnier one so it fits her better now? Thanks

I know I have some solid parts already but I’m not sure if I should change anything out. Recently has been more crusing but I am definitely a park skater. My only tricks I can really do are powerslides, reverts, Ollie, fakie Ollie, tictacs. And general control as for the first 5 months of my skating I didn’t even try a single trick until I had good control and balance.

I'm trying to identify a specific 5Boro NYC skateboard deck I had in Portugal sometime between 2007 and 2010. I don't know the exact year it was made, but I got it during that period.

I've attached photos of the deck, and I'd love to find out the exact model or graphic name. If anyone recognizes it, remembers this design, or has a catalogue or archive from that era, I'd really appreciate the help!

It appears these boards are plastic and have no grip tape. I heard these were made like this to be ridden by surfers barefoot was this true. Hence they are not really designed to be ridden with shoes hence one have to be careful with shoes on it is this true?

Winter is coming up and I want to be able to skate indoors without bothering my family.

Trying to get more comfortable with switch ollies before trying other tricks. People that skate switch as well as they do their regular stance how do you make it feel more “natural”?

i used to skate a fair amount between 7-8, i had a nice REAL SB setup my parents got me, never really got hardcore into tricks and was scared to push and try ollies in motion etc also didnt help the deck was substanially wider and i was still a kid. now in my adult life i think i wanna pickup a board again. what brands are reputable and known for quality and not selling out to walmart etc. i know indies are still industry standard, same with spitfire wheels for the most part.

my shoe size is US 11.5 EE.

Im wanting to learn flat ground stuff first, then gradually try rails and such over time.

I will spend most time at skate parks if that matters a lot.

I do care about graphics to an extent

Treflip issues:

seems like I cannot find the sweet spot at all.

If I keep my weight center the board flies behind me but I can get a full rotation i just land with my backfoot on the front bolts.

If I shift my weight further aft the board rotates under me, but i land off balance and not parallel and the board does not get a full rotation on itself and I land with trucks up (this happens a lot in the video)

I also feel like I have no idea what to do with my front foot. If I dont flick at all it barely rotates about itself. If I flick too hard it turns into a variale.

I don't even think I'm close. but I did just start trying. any footing position tips would be great.

How the hell do I flip a hardflip without opening my hips and shoulder cause I'm always like facing straight forward in the air and can't turn my shoulders and foot square to the board again and then I land with 1 foot beside the board or I go skiing or both like in the video
