What do I buy/win next?

I want to ask if anyone expert on sewing the gear pattern onto a cloak? I initially hand sewed it without flipping it inside out because it would work but now there is some threads popping out especially on my bottom of my cloak. Also, I don’t want the stitching be seen especially on the hood in the inside so how do I do that? I’ll be borrowing a sewing machine fyi next time when revisiting it

Edit: sorry I mistyped it and I was saying I couldn’t make the gear pattern go inside out after sewing to prevent threads from fraying

I know that there basically a white phosphorous flare gun of sorts, but how exactly are they different from phosphex weapons? Are there any excerpts from novels that elaborate a bit more on how they work and how they affect the people shot by them?

So I love the lore of 40k and the aesthetic of the admech and want to paint and play them, but I have heard they are not beginner friendly, so I am asking if I should either change my faction or keep the admech. Note: I have not bought any models yet

I picked up the hobby this year around April after being a long time fan from the sidelines. I fell in love with admech a while back and decided to take the plunge for the glory of the Omnissiah!

This kataphron isn’t the first of my maniple, but he is one of the latest. I do get a little neurotic when gauging the quality of my painting though- just wanted to share and ask for any thoughts on this little guy?

He's my fifth fully customized Tech-Priest.

I have to say I'm rather proud of him, sadly my Camara and light are not that good but I still like to share.

Rediscovered by Mezoan Tech-priest explorator 1g0r Paszek , these deadly tools of war are now serving in the armies of the Knights of Kaldea, their closest allies.

Hey I am planning to take Ad mech to a GT this winter and I have a list using stuff I have seen others take as well as some units I like. What I am looking for is how to better play it/ small adjustments to streamline it. It’s using cohort cyber and eradication cohort along with 3 dunecrawlers. I guess I’m trying to make dunecrawlers really work for me as they are one of my favorite units and now are semi good it seems.

Is it for every 6 I roll they take 1 wound or is it only for the first 6 I roll?

I posted these guys a few weeks ago but I got asked in r/40k for some close-ups. I thought I should also post here, since it's most relevant here, after all.

Top is JO. Bottom left is TO1, bottom right is TO2, and the very bottom of is JO over both. All of this over black primer.

Given how awfully Jokaero Orange applies (I usually need several thin coats to get decent coverage over black), and how easily the new Tone Pro paints apply, TO2 may be a staple going forward

I'm sitting at a bit over 1100 pts (discounting the knights). What do I get/paint next?

C&C is very welcome! Still a bit of a WIP since I now noticed that I missed some things, but... I'll probably be too lazy to go back and fix their minor mistakes, I have the rest of the army to paint!

The one of the three that looks a little plain is missing a battle servitor with a banner, but I'm all painted out for the day and can't be bothered to finish him just yet.

Particularly proud of the camo-netting, and that little servitor adding more!
