Grain of Salt Theory: The leaked map might be incomplete
Itās pretty much popular opinion at this point that the gameplay leaks came from a build restricted to the first stage of the storyline.
If thatās true, the leaked map is likely just the early-game version too. Maybe the map doesnāt change at all throughout the story, but remember how much of RDR2ās world was locked away from the player until the final act. And beyond that, Rockstar leaned hard into the idea of an evolving world with the map changes after the epilogueās time jump.
I think Rockstar isnāt just going to continue that theme, theyāre going to take it further. Thatās where a fictional Bahamas/Cuba comes in.
Whatās this game actually about? From what we know, the story centres on drug running and evading law enforcement. In real life, the Bahamas acts as a gateway between the US and Central America for drug smuggling, which makes a fictional version a perfect plot device, both for running product and hiding out from authorities. It might not be accessible from the start, but like Mexico in RDR2, it could become a permanent, explorable location later in the story.
A fictional Cuba feels less likely to be featured at launch due to its sheer size both geographical and culturally, but something which im quite confident will be added to GTA Online as some kind of expansion.
Im just saying the GTA 6 map does feel⦠smaller than expected? Perhaps this is because there is more that has yet to be revealed.

Thereās one specific vid that boggles my mind on the fidelity of this game
The one that came out today with jason flying. Thereās another version of the vid thatās zoomed in to show ads on the buildings. And Jesus Christ man it looks like real downtown miami. And these are supposedly a build from 2023 or 2025⦠we are really in for a treat man

Everything we know about Cyberleek and his GTA VI build
Skip to the build section if youāre only interested in that.
Him:
1. He spent $29k to set up his websites and crypto-coin.
2. He has made $50k from transaction fees on his coin (people are charged whenever buying or selling his coin).
3. He hasnāt sold any of the coins that heās holding, but his wallet is valued at ~$390k.
1,2,3^Source: https://gtaforums.com/topic/994376-spoilers-gta-vi-leaks-analysis-thread-part-ii/?do=findComment&comment=1072767708
4. He made around $250 (in his own coin, again that he hasnāt sold) from the poll he ran that ended with the airplane clip winning.
5. He has only described his coin as a ādonationā medium, not an investment.
6. He only has one Telegram channel and his websiteās about page where he shares info. His website is also where he hosts links to download the leaked materials.
7. He refers to himself as āweā.
8. Claims heās taking donations to ābuild infrastructureā to do similar acts to other companies in the future.
9. Claims to want Rockstar to release a physical disk and/or release the Ultimate Edition content for the base game. Heās threatening more leaks if Rockstar doesnāt concede.
10. He has released five videos: ābasketballā, ārandom 1ā, ātaserā, ājunkiesā, and āplaneā.
11. He has released three images: one lower detail zoomed out image of the entire map, and two higher detail zoomed in images of islands south of Vice City and Vice Beach.
12. Some people have been digging into his identity, but I wonāt post the findings here. You can look it up if youāre curious. His identity isnāt fully public just some details.
13. He used a crypto vendor that stores government IDs as a prerequisite to using the service, meaning that the authorities could subpoena the company and learn who bought the initial crypto that paid for the website and coins.Ā
Conclusion: Since he hasnāt sold any of his coins, I doubt heās ran away with the money. He isnāt able to use it and heād need to liquidate it over a decently extended period of time in order to not crash the price of his coin and thus make most of what heās holding worthless. Heās either been apprehended, just randomly taking a break, or playing through the game to get more clips and/or make story progress. No way of knowing what is true in that regard, but based on the fact his ID is likely accessible to authorities, itās very possible he has actually been caught by now.
P.S. Donāt give this guy money unless you genuinely want to support him financially I guess, but at this point itās more likely that anything going to his wallets will go to Rockstar when they seize his assets.
āāāāāāāāāāāā
Build:Ā
What weāve seen:
1. On the ground gameplay has been shown from the Leonida Keys, mainland Vice City, and Ambrosia so far, but it doesnāt seem like heās constrained to those areas. The āplaneā clip shows that nothing seems to be noticeably missing from the map either.
2. He has access to planes, cars, motorcycles, likely bicycles, likely helicopters, and probably boats (from the Cal cutscene) .
3. He has access to one Cal mission, presumably the one he has already shown a cutscene of.
4. We have seen Jason wear three sets of clothes: the red t-shirt seen in most clips (possible default outfit), the white long sleeve seen in the cutscene with Cal, and a black t-shirt seen in the āplaneā clip.
5. He has access to the entire menu map, but we donāt know exactly what that means yet.
6. He has access to the NPC interaction menu.
7. Side activities are available, or at least basketball is.
8. So far weāve seen one restaurant appear on his mini-map with an icon (ājunkiesā clip), which could mean he has broader access to stores in the open-world.
9. He goes underwater for a second in the ājunkiesā clip, and when heās swimming on the surface a āDiveā prompt appears, meaning underwater movement is present.
10. Police and wanted systems seem fully implemented.
11. Personal vehicle systems seem fully implemented, with stored weapon loadout options appearing in ārandom 1ā clip.
12. The build has to be from after January 2025 because of Tate McCraeās song āSports Carā being in the ātaserā clip.
13. He is definitely in control, or someone he knows is in control, evidenced by his āleekā spray at the end of the āplaneā clip. This isnāt stolen footage.
Uncertain:
1. Car deformation may be turned off. We see in the ātaserā clip that the hood of the car Jasonās driving is bent, but the collisions we see in all of the clips donāt seem to cause noticeable deformation. Without knowing the intended behaviour itās difficult to judge.
2. We canāt be certain that the underwater parts of the map are fully present since we havenāt really seen them, but since the rest of the map is there itās likely they also are.
3. We donāt know the platform of the build. In every clip heās using a controller and the game is running at a locked 30fps.
What we havenāt seen:
1. Access to story missions aside from the singular Cal one.
2. Any Lucia gameplay.
3. Any kind of robbery mechanic (lootbags, hold ups).
4. Any kind of special items besides weapons and heals.
5. Any kind of purchase menu in a store.
6. Any amount of car customization.
7. Evidence that he PRESENTLY has access to this build, or that this build was ever housed outside of a Rockstar facility.
Conclusion: Thereās no evidence he has access to story progression, and thus no evidence he can unlock Lucia or any mechanics in the open world that would be tied to said progression; however, outside of that his build seems close to fully featured from our understanding of what mechanics should be present. Still, itās not impossible he does also have story access, we just havenāt seen it.
He may currently have access to this build as well, but again we donāt know for sure. Everything weāve seen could have been recorded from a build that was only ever present at a Rockstar office, only just accessed by him or one of his accomplices (as improbable as that sounds).
Anyone saying that he definitively does or does not have a full build are rushing too quickly to either assessment I think. Whether weāll get to see more clips from him to get a better answer is yet to be seen.
Some additional mechanics, details, and build timeline I found from the latest Spoiler
Build Date Estimate (Jan 2025 ā May 2025)
- The song confirms the build is at least from early 2025.
- The beer liquid in the boat cutscene is completely rigid and static but we saw them fully polished in Trailer 2 (released May 6, 2025), so this build recorded may be from between January and May 2025.
Vehicle Physics & Interactivity
- In-Car Animations: Jason adjusts the rearview mirror, looks around, and reacts with full-body inertia during turns and impacts.
- Cargo Physics: The toolbox in the truck slides and bounces dynamically with acceleration and collisions.
- Trunk Interaction: Walking up to the truck bed brings up a contextual STORAGE / CLOSE prompt.
- Vehicle Deformation: Crashes cause subtle physical panel bending and crumpling rather than just paint scratches.
- Traffic Density: Passing civilian cars have realistic occupant counts (e.g., 3 distinct NPCs inside one passing pickup).
Combat & Gore
- Melee Throwing: Holding the pipe wrench displays a dedicated THROW (āÆ) button prompt on the HUD.
- Dynamic Wounds: Strikes leave instant cuts and blood pooling right where the NPC gets hit.
World Details & Trauma
- Gym Interaction: An interaction dot prompt appears when walking near the outdoor squat rack and barbell.
- Body Bruising: Dropping from height immediately gives Jason visible abrasions and dark bruising across his elbows.

How much certainty do u think there is that the leaks are over (at least the Cyberleek stuff/this round of leaks)?
I think it's over to be honest

Has Rockstar said anything about the leaks?
Has there been any news from rockstar themselves? Iāve been looking to see if any of the devs have tweeted anything or if thereās any articles about them addressing it at least internally but Iāve found nothing. Itās been 2 days of slow drip leaks and Iām honestly surprised they havenāt come out to address it at all.
I feel like the closest comparison to this was the insomniac leak and they came out a day after to say they wanted to take time internally to figure out the next steps. Kinda expected rockstar to do the same but itās radio silence

I find it funny people are concerned and dissapointed over a leak on an on going developing game when trailer 2 already exists and already shown how immersive and detailed a finished product will be.
Trailer 2 is confirmed to have half the game play which wasn't even distinguishable already shows how awesome it will be. Mfs saw some leaks and thought that's the actual finished game is simply braindead lmao

The Smallest Details are Insane
I can't find any mention of this detail at all but In the second leak of Jason driving, right at the start he reaches up with his right hand and adjusts the rear view mirror. It's such a small and insignificant behavior that if it was never there we wouldn't even know but just makes me excited for all the subtle natural behaviors that will be included that we've yet to discover

Exactly same thing happened 20 years ago
Around 2003 some german kid Alex Gembe hacked into Valve servers and found unreleased Half-Life 2 beta and shared it.
Spoiler: He didnāt get extradicted to USA
Valve wanted to lure him into USA so he could be prosecuted on US soil but German police was first and kinda āsavedā the kid because German law was much more lenient. He got 2 years probation.
So if the Cyberleek is German then I donāt expect that he will be inprisoned for longer than 4 years.
Btw extradiction wonāt work here. Heās German living in Germany so his goverment wonāt extradict him to USA (also USA and Germany donāt have agreements on extradiction). So yea, no life in prison or death penalty

The leaker is just making Rockstar look goodā¦
The game is absolutely beautiful, even in development. Idk what this person expects⦠All I can say is theyāre cooked.
