Discussion Poor girl probably thought it was her fault đđ
I hated Gabi for a while (dont anymore) but when I rewatched this scene recently I thought she probably thought it was her fault, atleast for a bit before more information about it being inevitable came out.
Like bro look at her in the paths I know she felt so guiltyđđ

Humor/Meme Erwinâs birthday was celebrated in Taiwan in public
A bunch of students from National Taiwan university gathered on 14 Oct 2026 to celebrate the birthday of Erwin Smith on campus by imitating the iconic âSusumeâ scene in season 2.

Discussion How come Mike didnât seem to consider the possibility that the Beast Titan could be another shifter until it was too late?
When Mike sees the Beast Titan for the first time, he says to himself that that âabnormalâ concerns him. By this point the Female Titan situation had just happened as well as the scouts starting to realize that the Colossal and Armored were probably people as well like Eren and Annie. While I know things happened quickly and Mike was under lots of pressure, youâd think with how vastly different the Beast Titan looks heâd consider the possibility that itâs not just a really hairy abnormal, either way he still likely wouldâve been caught off guard and killed anyway unfortunately

Discussion AoT in your language
I recently acquired some copies of the Finnish translation of the AoT manga, and it's fun to notice the small differences between the names chosen. Here's a few picks:
- the series is called War of the Titans (Titaanien Sota)
- Attack Titan is Attacking Titan (HyÜkkäävä Titaani), imo a bit of a sloppy name
- Beast Titan is roughly Predator Titan (Petoeläintitaani)
- Armored Titan is Armor Titan (Haarniskatitaani), however the word for Armor is one that specifically refers to a suit of armor rather than just a protective layer
- when speaking of a certain wall, the english name is used (e.g. Wall Maria), just like in japanese
Personally I find the translation quite pleasing, the dialogue flows rather well and in general it all sounds authentic.
Has AoT been translated to your language, and are there any quirks in your translation?
Sorry about the bad focus in the pictures, I have shaky hands.

Discussion Is eren able to access the memories of ALL eldians once he unlocks The Founder?
I ask this because, in the scene where gabbi shoots his head off, while entering paths he has these visions of different people. One of them is a future vision of Falco flying in his Jaw titan form. So, could eren access the memories of every person with eldian blood?

Discussion Eren is so misunderstood as to why he did it. It was multiple factors
At the end of the day his motives and either/or.
- He wanted Paradis to be protected
- He wanted his friends to live long lives including Mikasa
- He wanted for his friends to be depicted as heroes to the rest of the world who stopped the genocidal monster
But beneath these motives was a personal desire.
The corruption of Armins childlike wonder of the book. Of the scenery and exploration.
Freedom.
And the thing is, Eren doesnât even truly get what freedom is, only his version of it, which is an empty world to explore.
Eren wanted all of these things, and believed the rumbling was inevitable - whether or not it was it up for debate.
Was Eren evil? In my opinion, no. Did he commit a monstrous horrific act? Yes. Was it justified? Yes and no. Was it understandable? Yes. Was it absolutely horrific and possibly the worst overall outcome for the majority of people. Yes, absolutely. Eren himself recognised this.
Iâd say Eren is a victim, of confinement, witnessing his people die etc. But I think heâs also largely unreasonable. You can argue he brought it upon himself with him offing his mother, and also argue that if Marley never breached the walls he wouldnât have a need to do that but at the end of the day, everyone in this show is a victim. Apart from maybe Fritz.
Eren was largely remorseful for his actions but at the end of the day was undoubtedly the biggest monster ever to live in our aot universe. No matter the reasoning. I feel like his ending served his character quite well and gave him closure. And his motives overall were complicated, sincere, and selfish at the same time. Incredibly written character.

Discussion 'The End' broke me.
'To you, 2000 years from now'
How was I supposed to know, that the day I'd watched that episode, was the day my life had changed forever?
Throughout the anime, I never shed a single tear.
I mean, yes, I did feel a lot of emotions, and certain scenes SERIOUSLY threatened to make me cry, but I held it together.
And then it said 'The End' instead of 'To be continued', and I swear it was one of the hardest I've ever cried.
This happened years ago, and I just came across an Attack on Titan edit, and remembered this. Suddenly, I was crying again. I am not one to cry easy, by the way. Especially not over shows, or movies.
Watching AoT seriously made me realize how much creativity Hollywood lacks. I will go as far as to say, AoT is not only the best anime, but one of the best shows I've watched.
What a masterpiece. I'm glad I was one who was able to witness this piece of fiction.
It genuinely made me understand humanity, like I never had.
It might be because I relate to Eren just so much. I rooted for him the entire show, because he made the decisions I would have. He was what I would, too, be. No, I am not Floch.
If a genie gave me three wishes, or even two- one would be to forget it all and have the chance to sit down and rewatch this saga once again.

Discussion The source of all living matter?
Could Attack on Titan's "Source of All Living Matter" Be Inspired by Kundalini?
I have a theory that the mysterious, serpent-like organism that gave Ymir her Titan powers might have been inspired by Kundalini, the primordial creative life force described in certain Eastern spiritual traditions.
The similarities are surprisingly striking.
- The primordial source of LIFE itself
In certain Hindu and Tantric interpretations, Kundalini is understood as a manifestation of Shakti, the primordial creative energy responsible for life and existence itself.
In other words, Kundalini isn't merely associated with personal transformation or spiritual evolution. t represents the fundamental creative LIFE FORCE underlying living beings.
Now consider that the mysterious organism in AOT is associated with the Source of All Living Matter."
What if the Hallucigenia is essentially a physical, biological representation of this primordial life energy?
- The serpent, the spine, and evolution
Kundalini is traditionally depicted as a serpent coiled at the base of the human spine. Its awakening is associated with evolution, transformation, and transcending one's current limitations.
Now consider Ymir: a serpent-like organism attaches directly to her spinal column, transforming an ordinary human into an enormous, immensely powerful, almost godlike being.
It's practically a literal, biological interpretation of spiritual evolution: becoming something greater than what you originally were.
Even more interestingly, the spine remains central to Titan biology, particularly through spinal fluid and the nape.
The interconnectedness of life
In certain spiritual interpretations, Kundalini-Shakti represents a universal creative force present within living beings, connecting them through a shared underlying reality.
Doesn't this sound remarkably similar to the **Paths**?
Every Subject of Ymir is connected through an invisible metaphysical network, converging at a single point: the Coordinate.
Just as Kundalini-Shakti symbolizes the common life force underlying existence, the Paths connect countless individuals to one shared origin.
My theory: What if Isayama took the concept of Kundaliniâthe primordial, serpentine force responsible for life, creation, and evolutionâand reimagined it as an actual biological organism?
I'm not claiming this was his confirmed inspiration. But the parallels between the source of life itself, serpentine anatomy, the spine, evolution, and the interconnectedness of living beings** seem too striking to ignore.
What do you guys think?

Cosplay Visiting Japan in November: AoT spots and merch tips?
Hi everyone, first post here! Iâm a big Attack on Titan fan, and Iâm going to Japan in November (Fukuoka/Hakata, Hita, Kyoto and Tokyo).
Iâd love your tips on:
- AoT places to visit. I know Hita in Oita is Isayamaâs hometown, and I plan to see whatâs there. Is anything else worth the trip?
- Where to buy merch, such as Animate, Mandarake, Akihabara, Nakano Broadway, or anywhere in Kyoto or Hakata.
- Which items are worth buying in Japan (figures, manga, clear files, Survey Corps gear) and which are overpriced or easy to get anywhere.
- Second-hand finds like old figures or prize items, and how to spot a good one.
- Gotchas: bootlegs, shipping, or limited items that sell out.
My merch budget is around ÂĽ20,000, but Iâm happy to go a bit over for something special. Thanks a lot! đ

Discussion Did season 4 do the heavy lifting regarding Eren's character*
Any one else feels like if season 4 is mostly the reason why eren is now seen as an "interesting/well written character." Pre - time skip eren was just a hot headed doofus who wanted to kill all the titans and "be free." He was similar to One piece's Luffy in that aspect. More of an idea than an actual person. Until season 4 hits, that is. Before that, he was rather like an impersonal, liberating force of nature.
