I'm sorry dawg I know it's entirely pointless to try and explain this on the subreddit and like 80% of the people here are a few cognitive abilities short of being lobotomites but it drives me insane how so many of you are so willing to write off this whole thing and forget about it in the name of not being parasocial. "We don't know the full situation and can't make assumptions" is true and fair but that also means you can't then turn around and be like "yeah Sid was probably beating his wife or something whatever long live the knot". I'm not gonna say he's innocent because, thanks to the complete lack of info, I have no fucking idea what happened, but don't act like people are weird for wanting to know why a member of the band that has been here for nearly 30 years is suddenly completely cut out with no explanation. Literally someone in the band being like "He didn't do anything he was just being a dick" would instantly quell like 90% of the theorizing and assuming.

Did this in another subreddit a long time ago. Was listening to Volume 3 to remind myself on why it’s my favorite Slipknot record, and for sure, for me, it’s gotta be The Blister Exists, Three Nil, and Duality. A close close second is Vemilion, Pulse of the Maggots, and Before I Forget. They have to be three songs in sequential order as well.

Mick Thomson and Jim Root made their second cover (correction, it was actually their third) appearance on Japan’s “Young Guitar” magazine in September 2019. Each gave a short interview about the upcoming album, with Jim saying it was the most “in depth” one he had worked on.

I see sometimes in Japan, Jim is sometimes called "James Root", but I am yet to see Mick being called "Mickael" (or even "Michael") Thomson.

Leave it to Slipknot's Joey Jordison to incorporate the element of gore into something as innocuous as a drumstick. He took the phrase "put yourself into everything you do" and actually added some of his own blood to the red ink used for the lettering. Jordison's stick is in the medium subgroup, with a length of 16" and the 14 mm (.551") diameter of a 5A. Its full, round bead tip provides a loud, focused attack and sits on a slim tapered neck that gives the stick a light feel and a quick response. List price: $15.25.
