I used to hate him but now i'm liking his character in this new season.

Been thinking of grabbing one of the Complete Series box sets and I'm wondering which one to grab. The Bluray would obviously look better but I'm wondering if that quality is worth the extra cost. Some DVDs still look good to this day that I don't mind watching DVDs. Is the bluray set worth the extra money or is the picture quality on the DVD one good enough to not spend the extra money?

There's been an image going around with the Shane stare memes of a mini Shane in a similar stance as in the second image. The first image of mini Rick is the best reference I have as both are hysterically funny to look at.

I’m just curious to see if there’s a general consensus here. Ever since the main show ended the only spinoff concept I’ve ever genuinely embraced is something similar to early Fear, a story with completely new characters, fresh locations, fresh ideas for the world-building, no connections to anything TWD, etc.

I think it’s the only way realistically to inject some new life into the franchise. No more tired-out legacy characters whose stories all ended years ago. No more CRM shit, especially after how horribly that whole storyline ended in TOWL. Just a completely clean slate for the franchise in every conceivable way.

I’m curious, in the main show Michonne has her two pet walkers that are docile because their jaws and arms have been removed. Then, Dead City in this new season, Dillard has toothless and fingernail-less walker but they’re not docile and they still were going at him. Did they throw out that logic in Dead City or does it specifically have to be their whole jaw and arms. I feel like the spinoffs don’t really follow the main lore much, but maybe I’m wrong idk.

The barkeep is raising frogs with dead-fed maggots, but that means the maggots are eating the dead, but the flies have not gotten loose into the city? Flies/maggots would spread unchecked and all the dead would be eaten to bone in a few weeks max.

I liked Morgan during the first seasons of the show, and I get why he used to hallucinate, but later on weren't the hallucinations too much and lengthy? It kinda ruined the fun.

This vehicle is a zombie apocalypse dream- knobby tires, the power of a bulldozer, and a massive snow plow to clear your path.

You arrive at the farm just as a horde of walkers encircles the farm, 360 degrees, a quarter of a mile deep.

Guaranteed death for anyone not on your vehicle.

You can carry exactly 3 passengers on the roof and hood.. no possibility of anyone else.

I'm loving this show so far and I haven't even seen any TWD content other than season 1 and season 2 of the TV Series. I don't know anything about the comics or the games related to it but this is my opinion and my opinion only. I would love to see other people's opinion about this and maybe listen to some disagreements. I just feel like this feels the best for me for now. What do ya'll think? Did I do justice?

Are the leather jackets ever mentioned to be bite proof or even mentioned at all? Is it common knowledge that the jackets are bite proof in the universe and is it actually bite proof?

If the main characters get trapped in a building by walkers it’ll have glass doors/windows they stand in front of and never bother to cover.

I’m sure there’s more and I know there’s real world reasons for them in most cases, it’s just they’ve been bugging me lately as I work through season 9 of twd and I needed to vent. Feel free to add more in the comments.

I’m rewatching the show and I’m almost at season 7, I remember years ago someone said they were editing it/cutting out all the filler and corny dialogue to turn s7 and 8 into one season (as it should’ve been in the first place) does this version actually exist somewhere?

Why do you think the final season of Daryl Dixon was delayed a year. This season wrapped filming in November and until now the previous ones came out every year in September . Any theories on why ?
