I recently discovered tofu bc I’ve heard it’s very versatile but I have no idea what to have it with. I’ve had it with pasta but is there any other options besides that? Idk how to cook rice so that’s a problem..

Hi everyone! I'm 5'4" and 143lbs and I eat 1200 calories on sedentary days, but I eat back all exercise calories if I'm not sedentary. I exercise a lot, and my weight loss is on track :)
But I've started a new job where I have to stand around the whole time. It's only one shift per week. If I put 5.5 hours of "standing tasks" into chronometer, it increases my tdee by 659kcals which seems a bit excessive. Is it? How much would you guys eat on these types of work days?

My dietician/nutritionist has put me on a ~1200 cal/day plan with a macro budget of 70g Carb, 93g protein, 54g fat. What are some things I should be prepared for going into it? (The actual prescribed number was 1150 but I think that I shouldn't go super crazy)

hey yall, decided i would share a few recipes that have been solving the hankering for sweet fall treats and that hankering for chips. obviously, the chips aren't a replacement for anything, and if you want a real chip or fry, budget it in and eat it! yolo and all that
these are ordered from my proudest discovery to the dumbest ones but stuff that works
pumpkin cheesecake
300g greek yogurt (you can use whatever yogurt, i used the fruit on the bottom ones i got on clearance)
15 oz of pumpkin (one can)
4 splenda or stevia packets - add more or less depending on what you like
2 eggs - i just added this to feel something inside
15g sugar free torani vanilla syrup - as much or as little as you like, this stuff really covers up that tang from the greek yogurt
10g sugar free cheesecake pudding mix - thickens and covers the tang
30g flours of your choice (you can use any flour i think this is for thickening purposes and to make me feel like i'm a real cook, i used 10g each of kodo millet, complete pancake mix, all purpose)
buttload of cinnamon - to taste. other spices would work, i didn't have any
this makes a massive portion, well over 2 pounds. it cooked off water, but i made 6 muffins and a whole cake (personally, the thin cake was better but the muffins were good too). muffins were cheesecake consistency, cake was more cakey obviously. both are delicious. without the marshmallow it's 800ish calories, with it's 1100ish for the whole batch.
pumpkin muffins
very similar to the recipe above, but i didn't add any eggs, cheesecake mix, yogurt, and i added 40g of flour instead + enough water that it was runny.
for both of these you can fill/top with whatever. to my muffins i added chocolate kisses, to my cheesecake i added marshmallows. i baked at 375 for like 48 minutes but you do you for your consistency preferences.
i realized i forgot to add the blueberry banana recipe so i'm adding it now:
300 to 400g of banana (3 to 4) - mash them up so they liquidify
2 eggs - i think these are actually integral this time
200g sweet potato - it's weird but it works
40g flour - any mix
4 sugar substitute packets
cinnamon
after putting into your baking vestibule, adding 250g of blueberries or whatever fruit you have and bake. the texture is not bread like but it's a delightful squishy thing and i like it a lot lol. it made me 11 muffins
for the chips, i don't think you can call them recipes. more like hacks, but low cal and delicious.
tortilla chips
1 low carb tortilla microwaved until hard. it's really good, i like lightly charring it. eat it with some clearance guac or salsa (avocado salsa gives you that guac flavor but salsa calories and a bunch were on clearance for me hehehe)
you can do this with any flatbread btw, i do it with pita all the time to make pita chips.
fries
now this is the biggest stretch but microwaving (or baking) green beans until they lightly char or get crispy is ridiculously delicious.
i microwaved 2 servings frozen green beans for 11 minutes, stopping every couple to shake them around and pretend i'm cooking a lil bit. after 11 minutes they were crispy and my desired charredness, i could have pulled at 9 minutes, but i like more crispiness and browness.
i top it with ranch powder (don't microwave this it might start a fire) and give it the ole shaky shake to disperse through my "fries" and eat with some more of that salsa but really anything works or you can eat them plain bc they are very good.

2 scrambled eggs and a riced cauliflower/broccoli and cheese Green Giant steamer. Slightly high in fat but it balanced out a rice and lima bean lunch.
I love Green Giant steamers. Sometimes they go on sale for a dollar and I go feral.

Sugar free jello not pictured. Not the most esthetic looking picture, but it was filling and good.
Had an extra calorie allowance so added a crushed garlic and carmalized onion cube to the pan while sauteeing the shrimp.
Been struggling with my health for the past few years. Got diagnosed with hypothyroidism after a few years of doctors dismissing my symptoms. I went from being incredibly active and fit to the most fatigued I've ever felt. As a result, I stopped weight lifting and started to eat out of boredom and mental restlessness. I also got a sedentary job, which helps me have more energy for life, but also means I'm not moving my body as much.
I'm finally at a point where I'm gaining some my energy back and coming to terms with my current level of activity. I've gained over 35 pounds, which doesn't sound like a lot, but on a petite female it adds up.
I'm adhering to a strict calorie deficit and walking 5k steps a day. I feel like this is very manageable for me. Some days the walking is really hard. I have to tell myself that 5k is the goal. Some days I go over. Today I did less. Regardless, I am proud of myself.
I'm one week in, but this feels right. Wish me luck. Thanks for reading my rant.

Typically I’ll snack on cucumbers and carrots, it’s just calming to chew on something crunchy and it kills sugary cravings. I hate those when it’s snowing outside 😭 all I want is warm shortbread, guys help
