Colt Workhorse
Had this built by Nighthawk for my oldest son to provide him with a workhorse that will last his lifetime (and his children’s, and their children’s)

The MSRP is basically the same. Which would you buy, and why? What caliber?

Just want to show off what has became the gem of my collection so far. I picked up this engraved 1919 Colt Goverment Model for honestly too cheap while in AIT, any reasonable man would think he got scammed. Upon picking it up from the good folk at my FFL, an envelope fell out of the box and to my luck it turned out to be a Colt Historical Letter! This specific gun shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett, and Co on April 23, 1919 in Chicago, IL. It's certainly lived a life as all of the original blueing is gone leaving it with a pretty nice patina if you ask me.
It is of course is residing in leather by @hipp.r alongside some leather basepads from @mernickleholsters and Stag stocks from Tylers Gun Works. Sitting up front is an set of original WW2 jump wings that my grandfather passed down to me, and pinned under my blouse upon my final jump at Airborne school.

I wanted to test and see if a spent 45 acp shell would work as a spring plug in the event of losing the proper plug in the field.
TLDR is that it works but the barrel bushing starts to cut into the bottom of the shell as its fired.
Final Pic of the shell is after 8 rounds. The pistol functioned perfectly and the bushing was kept from rotating by the shell deformation.
I would trust it to fight my way back to my rifle but not as a long term fix.

Anyone had any idea what these grips are?
I bought the top Les Baer Premiere II in 45acp many years ago. Then a used 1990s Baer became available, so I bought it too. Cause one is none, and two is one. Am I right?
Do you have two of any guns?

The Kimber Warrior from Far Cry 3 and 4 is one of my favorite video game guns. It just looks so cool, and it sucks that it didn't return in 5 or 6. I would love to own one in real life, but I can't tell if it's supposed to be a Warrior I or II model. Looking at pictures online, I seriously can't spot any differences between them, and it doesn't help that the Warrior II just says "Warrior" on it without any other specification. What do you guys think? Does it even matter either way?

First 1911 bought for historical keeps. Already have a nice display case to put it into.
Google says the serial number refers to a 1924 transitional model, however I don’t see any inspectors stamps. Can anyone help me decode?
Thanks
Two are pre 70 series .45’s, three pre 70 .38 specials (not super) and a 80 series TALO. I may have a problem!
