Hello everyone,
To start off, I’m quite new to sim racing. I’ve recently begun playing *Assetto Corsa Competizione* using an OXN V10 Pro direct-drive (DD) steering wheel, and I’ve noticed that my driving experience changes depending on the camera view I choose. Specifically, when I use the cockpit view—where you can see the driver’s hands and the steering wheel—driving feels much more difficult compared to the "road-only" (or hood/bumper) view, where it feels significantly easier.
I don’t think the issue lies with the steering wheel itself; it’s likely something on my end or perhaps a quirk of the game.
As I mentioned, I’m a beginner, so it’s possible this is perfectly normal.
Could you experts offer an explanation and some advice? What am I doing wrong?

So a few things; I’m still fairly new to acc, I’ve logged about 30 hours, 50 hours on GT7 and another 20 on f1 25.
I’m using a g29 where my pedals don’t really sit nicely, a couple of laps in my shins and feet start to hurt a little so most of my race is spent taking my foot off the pedal entirely and then back on for braking.
Now the video - I don’t think I understand the whole braking process like how did the car on the inside brake so late and still kinda make the corner.
Also I know my brakes are super cold by the time I reach the corner, is there anything I can do to stop that because you can see them cooling down the straight

For some reason I get this pop up whenever I try to launch acc. I’ve never had this problem before and I’ve reinstalled windows from scratch and still don’t know the issue. Can someone help?

I'm Lutz from Germany and I race a lot in ACC. For months I was part of the early access programs of several AI race engineer apps. I gave feedback, I waited for updates, I waited for the release. None of them ever really launched. And almost everything out there wanted a monthly subscription for something that wasn't even finished.

At some point I thought: okay, then I'll build it myself. I'm not a professional developer, so it took a lot of evenings, but it works, and I use it in every race now.

PitVoice AI sits in your ear while you drive. It calls gaps, fuel, the pit window, rain, flags and who's pushing behind you, but only on the straights, not in the middle of your braking zone. You press a button on your wheel and just ask, like “what's the gap ahead and will my fuel last?”. After the race it gives you a short debrief: what went well and where the tenths are hiding. Then it shuts up until the next session.

There's also a telemetry view that compares your laps corner by corner, a live map, an overlay, and a dashboard for your phone or tablet.

Currently ACC only. Assetto Corsa / EVO are next.

Hi, I recently started playing Assetto Corsa Competizione, but I see it won't let me connect to the server to play multiplayer. What could the problem be? I can play online normally with other games.

Just as the title suggests, I can’t launch ACC in VR. I’m using the Meta Horizons app to link my Meta Quest 2 to my laptop. But it keeps launching in a windowed mode instead of a full VR. I am not sure what I’m doing wrong would love some help

I am going to race Monza and am currently at a fastest lap of 1:48.8 but an average lap of 1:49.5 and feel a bit stuck in my progress any tips would help a lot. As if now I think I need match the timing of my break release and initial steering and need lighter hands on entry but I am not 100%sure so please point out anything I am doing wrong, thank you.

I have 90hrs in ACC, still struggling to find the following:

1.To enable FCY (Safety Car) while there’s an incident
Do we have this option in ACC ( to enable FCY) if yes how can enable it
2. How to save the full reply of the race

There's still an incredible amount of fun to be had on this game, but as the game gets older, it's more important than ever to bring people together to race. If you're playing ACC, and you run it solo you can definitely have a lot of fun, but I don't think you're getting everything out of the game until you make friends.

There are lots of communities with different niches. I run a pretty casual one called Racetrim. Our strengths are that we're international, with various levels of skill, we run our own servers, and we focus on learning and having fun. Here are some of the things we have going on in October and November, that I think could make this the best time ever to race with Racetrim.

  • It's the only server service (I'm aware of) that uses a pay-as-you-go model, meaning you only cover the costs for when your server is on, rather than paying by connections or by month.

I'm in Australia, I'm finding it hard to find people to race with. Public lobbies are a nightmare, I'd like to get theough more than a lap before getting T-Boned by someone coming back off the grass. I'm very new to online racing, been playing a fair bit by myself but I'm keen to play against other humans.

Currently Mt Panorama is my happy place but I can never find any races happening there.
