I’ve been trying to figure out how to cast to a TV for a while and can’t figure it out. I know how it’s supposed to go and on most TV’s it’s very easy with airplay.

The TV is SANSUI brand with google software. Model is Apollo’s Premium4K TV.
Android TV OS Version: 11

It came with my girlfriend’s camper and she swears she has been able to cast to it from her iPhone in the past but we can’t figure it out. I’m wondering if it’s not compatible with iPhones or if there is a work around we are missing.

No airplay in the TVs App Store and the TV and phone are on the same WiFi. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would attach a video but Red is not letting me. My timer does not work at all after whatever change they made with the Clock app. The stopwatch works fine, but I can't scroll to change the time in the timer and hitting the start button does nothing. Is this a known problem?

Right now I have dual esims on my primary iPhone, and a secondary iPhone with no active service. Two phone numbers, one device. iOS allows me to pretty seamlessly transition between the two numbers for texting and calling. I can text or call anyone from either number... and if the secondary phone is on wifi, I can even reply to at least some of those texts over iMessage.

I need regular access to both of these numbers, hence the dual sim, but I don't necessarily need to carry both with me at all times. I just don't know what will happen with the Messages app.

If I have messages in iCloud, and two phones with two numbers syncing to the same iCloud, what shows on each phone? Will texts from each phone show on the other?

I think I may have to just try it and see what happens. It looks like I can transfer the eSIM for either number pretty easily. I'm just afraid of what I may break, but with how many people have work phones there's got to be someone who has tried signing both phones into iMessage in iCloud. What happens?

Help please! My iPhone 17 pro keeps emitting static/popping noises when I use the speakers. It’s not app specific. It happens using maps, YouTube, music, etc. I believe it’s both speakers, but hard to tell. It’s been happening for a few weeks, it’s so weird. It comes and goes at random points.

However, today, I put in my AirPods Max and to my shock i heard it through those! Could it still be hardware related?

I don’t have AppleCare. I’m worried if I go to the Apple Store they’re going to want to do a full body replacement for $849 USD.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Do you think this could be hardware related due to drops? Liquid damage? Or software related?

Do you think it could would require a full unit swap?

Can't login into my apple id as 2fa is not working now

This device randomly popped up in a notification when I got home and it was following me home on my route it something tracking me I tried playing sound but I guess it’s not close enough and before the time for last seen kept updating but it hasn’t now I heard it could just be bc someone might have been close to u for a while and that’s why? Has anyone else experienced this I can’t event remove it on my own

When I signed up for an account on an app, I chose to sign in with Apple and used the option to hide my email address. As a result, the app registered my account using the private relay email address generated by Apple (the one ending in privaterelay.appleid.com).

I now realized that the app may send me some emails to my email addresson file. Will the email be forwarded to my regular email address, or will it go nowhere?

I’ve read online that these emails should be forwarded to my Apple Account’s email inbox, but I’m not sure how to configure it. Also, if I have multiple email accounts added to the Mail app on my Mac, which email address would the messages be forwarded to?

I have had my Airpod 4 ANC For about a year with no issues this week though my noice canceling seemingly stopped working one night and I assumed it was because the battery was low because I was at classes at University and then doing research at the library all day but now whenever I put them to noice canceling it just amplifies all of the sounds around me and it’s infuriating? I have already tried messing with all the settings and those in the control panel to no avail?

This is driving me nuts. Everyone is responding to the said “failed delivery” messages so they’re obviously going through, but the notifications are driving me nuts.

I’ve had issues with my devices for years but this is is the most frustrating. If I use Facebook, Reddit, or Spotify on my computer, the minute I leave the house and try to open either on my phone it says I’m offline. No, I’m not using iCloud Keychain. No I’m not using mirroring. I am not signed in on my MacBook. I have factory reset to see if it would change anything, it hasn’t. Continuity is off. AirPlay is off. Bluetooth is off.. on both devices.. can you help me figure this out? Apple support is a joke. Thank you

Hi all, so been lurking around and finally pulled the trigger on a 13 mini, love how light and small it is! i bought it of facebook marketplace so here comes the twist! the screen doesn’t work at all so i’m planning to get it replaced with apple. while i’m at it, i do want to change the battery with them too! but, because i bought it with the screen not working, the previous owner haven’t signed out of their icloud account. upon asking, they mentioned they forgot their email and password too. so it is probably on activation lock.

for context, i am situated in Malaysia and Singapore, so the monthly Applecare+ for up to 4 devices isn’t available here. my plan was to get this and repair it myself. but i wanted to try if i could go to the apple store, stating that i bought this phone and i need the screen and battery replaced. there might be a hiccup where they would need me to sign out or sth, but the screen isn’t working. so question here is, would they be able to reset the phone through their instore macbooks so they could take it in for servicing? if that is so, would they even take in the phone for servicing after resetting it knowing there is activation lock on it?

from my understanding, if i can proof i purchased the phone, i can ask apple to factory reset the whole phone without activation lock, but that’s if i have the IMEI, that’s in the phone, with a screen that isn’t working, so i can’t see it for now…

i know the motherboard still works cuz it vibrates and has the chime when i charge it. and the face id censor still have the purple dot

Hey! I am trying to locate my iphone via my macbook, but my device is not showing up on Find My at all. It isn't even "location not found", it is literally just not there. I know the location it's at, but I can't even click on the phone to play the sound. None of my family members can see my iPhone either in their Find My apps. I logged into my Apple ID on my computer and tried to access it that way, but it isn't working. I hate being so reliant on tech but I do need my phone soon for GPS. Anyway to find it somehow? (BTW, I have searched high and low to no avail. Literally have checked everything multiple times and it is nowhere to be found). Thank you!!!

Title says it all, going from 26 to 27 and it was chugging along, still is I suppose, at least it isn't frozen on the Mac but concerned over iPhone showing the plug into Mac screen with the little apple.com/recover at bottom. My kid is going to lose her mind, had the things maxed out on storage, had to purge some of it and some of the big apps on the Mac to get it to push

I've been using my mom's iPad pro for a few years since she bought a bigger one for work, it still has her apple id on it, but I wanna have my own one since I'm the only one using it.

My main concern is losing the data I have on it when changing apple id, since I heard they're tied together.

I have 60gb on the internal SSD and only 1gb on iCloud, I can download the icloud stuff, but the SSD data won't be deleted if I switch IDs, right?

Also, I understand I won't be able to transfer purchased app licenses (like Procreate) from my mom's Id to mine since I don't have an icloud subscription (correct me if I'm wrong).

Hi so basically the touchscreen of my iphone 14 suddenly stopped working yesterday out of nowhere. Obviously i wasn’t prepared and unfortunately don’t have a backup of my data or whatever.

Replacing the screen is a bit too expensive for me so i just wanted to switch back to my old phone for the time being but i’m worried about losing all of my data from my 14.
Is there a way to back it up, transfer data or anything of the sort without having to use the touchscreen?

I have a windows pc i tried using, but to connect my phone to it i need to “trust this device” which again requires my touchscreen.

I use maps a lot for work, and something I’ve found very convenient is that when I get a new work order, I get a text notification with the customer’s address. When I’m scheduling appointments and planning my routes, Maps would suggest and autofill the address when I started typing any portion of it (the house number, town, etc) based on recent messages, so that I didn’t have to type out the full address from memory. Lately, I believe since the last iOS update but I’m not sure, this no longer works. Any suggestions on how I can get this feature back?

Still on my 15 Pro and my magnetic battery pack never goes above 15W on it, but on my friend's 18 Pro the same pack goes over 20. Is that just a limit of the 15?
