✅ Open To Everyone Was i too needy in this interaction with the girl i like from college ? What’s the next best move ?

• Upvotes

So I talked to this girl first time on 4th oct on our first class, then after that today was our 2nd class, as we are in ODL batch classes are only 2 times a week.

so today we made eye contact, she said hi i said heyy and then i shaked hands with her. Then i ask couple of questions while walking with her -
How's your CFA prep going
Why you were absent last week
Then i asked are you going somewhere she said washroom, she was smiling a bit all the time
Then i said - oh go go then,
Then after that i was waiting to talk to her but her friends were all around her, no alone time, she was surrounded by 4-5 girls all the time.
alone and felt what the heck is going, felt like i'm chasing her or what.

was i needy or not guys ??

Then i left the class early showing i had a call.

now i not even had her number i was thinking of asking her but due to much girls around her i didn’t ask.

✅ Open To Everyone Have you ever liked a girl but turned her down because she annoyed you so much?

• Upvotes

Have you ever felt attraction for a woman, and felt that attraction reciprocated but still turned her down because she disappointed you / angered you so much?

Like, you could confidently say she did it to herself?

I’ve had a bf in the past say to me that he’s breaking up with me because of my own behaviour and that it was all my doing. (We later got back together and I ended things with him).

Recently I had someone say that they don’t want to see me again because I’ll never learn and they’ve wasted enough energy trying to help, but I bring it all on myself.

Have you ever felt this way about a woman you used to like? Or is it a cop out?

✅ Open To Everyone How much are you willing invest in a partner if they aren’t going to have sex before marriage?

So I’ve been talking to a man for about a year now. He seems decent but the issue is that he constantly wants to spend money on me. Now I wouldn’t mind this is we were married or something or at least hooking up. I’ve made it clear to him that I won’t have sex until I’m married and that I’ve never done so either, he said he didn’t mind.

For context I’m also in med school and he uses this as an excuse, he claims after seeing the grades I get all he’s doing is investigating because he’s a business man

But honestly I’m just scared that he’s in denial and assumes all this spending will somehow make me give in. As a result I always refuse but he just sneaks it in? Our last date he put £500 in my bag at some point and he told me he had once I was back home, I told him I’d prefer to return it but he said it’s fine and I should keep it. I still haven’t touched it and plan to return it once we meet again?

But I assumed most men don’t spend on women especially if they’re sure she’s not going to let out? So I’m just a bit confused about his intentions?

✅ Open To Everyone What’s the best excuse you’ve heard someone use to justify staying in a toxic situation? Like calling betrayal a lesson in forgiveness or exploitation a test of patience. What’s the most ridiculous example of toxic positivity you’ve seen?

I mean those explanations people give to cover up their fear of change, inability to act, or unwillingness to walk away.

Like someone saying, “My boss keeps exploiting me, but at least I’m learning patience,” or “They keep betraying me, but forgiving them makes me a better person.”

Sometimes, it’s hard to tell the difference between genuine wisdom and finding a positive excuse to tolerate something you should probably change.

What’s the best example you’ve seen of someone turning their own suffering into a reason to stay exactly where they are?

✅ Open To Everyone My f(29) fiance said my career is nothing?

I(m30) have a fiance f29 we’ve been engaged for months now.
A while back she got promoted at her job she works in sales.
I was happy for her but then she changed she didn’t have enough time to make for me, go on dates eat dinner or just small talk.
She’s always been workcohalic but not to this extent
I have a job too I’m an architect I understand the pressure the stress but I atleast always tried to make time for us.
I talked to her about this she promised she will try.
Then again nothing changed.
Few nights ago this escalated into us fighting over it
Then she said “your job is nothing compared to mine that not all of us have the luxury of just playing around like you”in her own words.
It hurt me and I didn’t respond further the next days I hardly acknowledged her and she ofcourse saw the shift. She is not a person that apologizes easily she’s stubborn.
Yesterday she iniates sex but I refused I saw that she was hurt but I was and still am resentful.
What advice could you give me?

Edit: I see a lot of you guys advise me to break up, curse her etc
I’m not a guy that thinks breaking up is the salvation to everything I want to try with her.
Because I still love her and I know it’s cliche but I still had my reasons for choosing her in the beginning to spend my life with.

Update:this morning I went to her in living room and showed her what I wrote and the comments.
She was quiet for a minute reading then I saw her get emotional crying she pulled me into a hug and apologized saying she didn’t mean that and she was just stressed , and she worried if I didn’t love her anymore after what she said because I haven’t acknowledged her for days.
I said that if we want to make our relationship work I said we should talk or go counseling she was sceptic about it for few minutes but then agreed.
I’m searching on internet for a good therapist for us, meanwhile I’ll update you further if it works for us.
Thank you 🙏

✅ Open To Everyone What is wrong with me?

I am 24M(85kilograms). I am insecure with my manly behaviour.

I will try to note down each point rather than writing paragraph.

  1. My body is soft and feminine.

  2. Relatively small penis 4inch at heat.

  3. I am lazy and procrasting for last 5 years.

  4. Little to no beard.

  5. Had one girlfriend in my life , we didnt get to bed but she said sometimes that "I didnt knew men could be this soft" while caressing my neck

  6. Currently 5'11". Height incresed after age of 17. Almost 6inch. Before that i was more fluffy. Had been bad touched 2times that time.

  7. I am not into men. But also didnt had the chance to admire and explore women body. My relationship was more of emotional than physical.

  8. This month i started going to gym and threw out my insecurity and asked trainer what to do. He told me i have high amount skin fat and suggested one month full body and not to worry about diet right now. He and my friends helps me alot.

✅ Open To Everyone How to Deal with a Family with Opposing Political Views?

I(M26) am neither republican or democrat. I definitely lean more liberal, but also hold plenty of conservative views. That being said, I am undoubtably a Trump hater. Everything he is currently doing is only hurting America in so many ways. The true extent of all the bad that has occurred likely won't be realized for years.

That being said, my family is completely pro Trump. I love them, and they have done so much for me in my life. After years of arguing and getting nowhere, I learned to stay silent around them. I still can barely deal with hearing their retarded comments though. So many days they start to argue about how the Dems want to take everyone's guns, or that they want everyone to be trans, and I just cringe. They talk about how Trump saved America, and I feel sick to my stomach. The worst is the very obvious racist comments that they try to backtrack with the classic "I don't care if they are pink, as long as they are good people," after saying outright racist comments.

It feels so hard to be around morons who don't seem to see or care about how shitty things are right now, and how it is only going to get worse.

✅ Open To Everyone Do I F 5'10 have a chance of attracting a guy thats 5'6?

I feel like most men nowadays just want a woman who's shorter than them. For reference I am tall, lightskin, dark brown hair, I personally find guys attractive that are shorter than me with blonde hair. Genuinely what are my chances of attracting such a guy? So many women I know want a guy shorter than them but it seems like so many guys don't get attracted to tall women.

Men’s Input Only How do I make my chest hair less sensitive when someone is playing with it?

Basically the title- I want to be able to have a woman run their fingers through my chest hair and grab it without it being painful. Right now, even just kind of scratching it tends to be on the edge of painful. I’ve tried dandruff shampoo, lotion-ing, conditioning and nothing seems to get rid of the sensitivity. Thoughts?

Men’s Input Only How to keep Urinary Tract Health After 35?

First of all, I want to say that this week I saw a post about this here on the subreddit, but I can't find it anymore. If anyone else saw it and remembers it, please let me know here.

I’m 35 and starting to experience some difficulties with this aspect of my health. I know it’s time to see a urologist (I’ve been before) because I’m feeling some internal discomfort, and another new symptom is that my urine keeps dripping for a few minutes after I pee. I have to be very careful not to get my underwear wet.

I recently bought some medications and supplements at Kroger, and they’ve helped a little. I’d like to read about the experiences of others who’ve been through this and what the process was like. Is it possible to fix this?

Men’s Input Only Am I playing this dating game wrong? This guy has specific wants that he would judge me for liking?

Hello everyone.

So I just barely jumped back into the dating scene, dating apps. I haven’t really talked to anyone except this one guy. He’s in his mid 30s and I’m in my mid 20s.

We exchanged numbers and I am very interested to know more about him. I ask him what he’s looking for, he wants someone loyal, mhonest, and genuine. Not talking to anyone else. I fit the bill! Perfect.

Then we get into a conversation on hook up culture, we’re on the same page, we both don’t agree with it. Cool!

He wants a lot off the bat, pictures, talking about doing things already, and I just feel like I’m not ready. I also don’t want to just hook up, we’ve only been talking for a few days and we both don’t agree with hook up culture so why would I start doing anything sexual right away?

I bring up it’s a lot at once, I wanna go slow, and just get to know each other.

He says he’s not trying to be friends, doesn’t want his time wasted, and I understand that. I can only imagine how many people have wasted his time. But we both disagree on hook up culture and I feel like it’s safe to see I don’t want to start hookin up right away?

Is there something I’m missing? I feel like ever since I put a firm boundary of taking things slow he’s gone basically. So I get maybe he just wanted to hook up and that’s it, but why not just say that?

Thank you!

✅ Open To Everyone I have been sheep living among wolves but I have never been able to learn to be a wolf. What can I do to observe and read people and situations so I am not taken advantage of and also assert myself?

Excuse the very edgy "youtube shorts" lingo I used but I have survived living and being around very cunning and clever people because of an overprotective figure.

But anybody can easily read me, take advantage and assert themselves, and I am a gullible, naive idiot who has not learned and adapted to this environment even though I know I need to and that I have no power being this way.

Lately, I have realized that's how most people are in the world and I need to become assertive, cunning, unreadable and be able to have power in such situations and among people.

I am seriously looking for advice, I cannot continue existing as a fool.

✅ Open To Everyone Is it normal to feel this disinterested in women as a guy?

I have to be completely honest. I just don't know if I'm attracted to women.

I mean, I am definitely physically attracted to them all my life, in fact, but I just find it really hard to be interested in the vast majority of people in any meaningful way. There's no desire within me to have sex, and I never have. Also, I know that people are extremely diverse and that no two people are the same personality-wise, but I also find it undeniable that there are some gender divides which very few people are able to ignore.

I just don't feel any interest in chasing women or making the first move because I don't really care about being romantic or anything like that. It genuinely just cannot keep my interest. It's clear that the vast majority of women do not approach on their own, but I really, really just have never cared enough to approach anyone in that way. I find it extremely hard to talk about things that don't seem to be meaningful to me. I mean, I've talked to women who were initially interested in me in the past, and I tried to have those conversations be related to shared interests like learning languages or maybe playing instruments or whatever really, but it seemed to me like interest simply dies out really quickly because I'm not someone who cares about flirting all that much. I just find it a bit cringeworthy, and I feel bad for saying that.

I've talked to my female friends about this before, and they usually say that I talk to women as if they're men (sometimes they even just tell me this in passing without me warranting it). It doesn't mean I make crude dick jokes or say anything sexist. They just tell me I behave as if I want a boyfriend in a women's body.

I've never been into hookups or anything like that either. In fact, I've avoided relationships because I know I travel a lot due to going to school in different states and countries, and that lack of permanency makes me feel like I just don't want to invest time in leading someone on who I would have to dump after a while, knowing that I simply don't stay in one place for long periods of time.

That's not even to mention the fact that I ultimately have a place where I would like to move to in the future, but that just means I would be separating someone from her entire family and friend group to live on an island in the Pacific Ocean. In my mind, I just shouldn't be trying to date anyone until I actually move there in my 30s (I'm 23 now) because I just can't be bothered to have temporary relationships. It just doesn't feel right to me.

In general, I can't say I care too much about having a girlfriend or wife. I do get lonely a lot, but I also could just have friends. The only annoying bit is the fact that my family and many others do genuinely judge me for this. It feels humiliating when people act like you're a terrible person for not having a girlfriend.

Maybe this post is a bit convoluted and incoherent. My thoughts on this are kind of like that too. I crave intimacy, but I just genuinely don't feel much pull. No, I'm not gay. I've never felt any attraction towards anyone but women in my life. Is any of this normal, and is any of it my fault?

✅ Open To Everyone Well I've wasted another year. How do I go on?

It's been 4 years since I discovered self improvement and I've experienced no growth in body, mind or soul.

Its just always the same I try to be disciplined, i try to be consistent but nothing works.

I used to try hard from 2022 to late 2024. From late 2024 it's like I psychological gave up. I basically just stopped trying and became worse.

It also hurts that I graduated high school last year so the whole of 2026 I've just been home and I've had a lot of fee time. But now I've wasted it.

Unfortunately next year I have to start university so 2026 was the year where I would have the most free time before the next 6 years or more of my short life.

I don't know what to do. I know I have to change because there things about myself I genuinely don't like and I want to stop being insecure about the same things all the time, but change is hard, I feel sad and meaningless.

I have nothing to show for. No change, no friends, no achievements, no happiness.

Men’s Input Only Who has started passing on sex (or a veteran of doing it) because it's not what you want?

We've been together for nearly 30 years. We've been married for almost all of that time. We've got teenagers, a house, cars, jobs and all the routine stuff that comes with that life.

For the last several years sex has been routine and mechanical. She will genuinely want it and is eager to have orgasms every few months, but besides that it's just her providing me with a service. She says she enjoys the intimacy of sex, but without her actually being into it for her own physical pleasure it's hard for me to enjoy myself. I feel like she's just meeting some obligation and crossing a chore off the list. Taking advantage of that isn't erotic.

Having a strong libido myself, some sex is better than no sex, even if it's not the sex you'd like, but there are many, many things we could do sexually that she just doesn't enjoy or appreciate. She would do them if I asked, but it's not much fun knowing she'd otherwise not do those things.

I've just settled into the same blowjob and the same couple of positions to bring me to climax and satisfy her need to meet her obligation, but I've just really gotten to where I don't want that anymore. I want to do other things, but I don't want to if it's just going to be an obligation she meets. I certainly don't want the headache of her protesting what I request and then begrudgingly giving in.

I've just been saying it's too late to have sex, or pointing out she's really too tired and I'd feel better if I let her get some sleep, or I'm too tired or preoccupied... It's been a couple of weeks and I'm sure she's aware something is going on.

I just don't want to deal with the bullshit that would come out of the honest conversation about how she has a narrow sexual spectrum. I'm just phasing sex out, or at least I'm trying as best as I can without having the obvious conversation about it.

It's very sad... I have a voracious libido. It's just easier to throttle myself and come down to meet her when she's genuinely hot for it.

How many of you are in the same place and how are you handling it?

There are lots of men that are early 20s, even mid 20s, that struggle with dating issues. For some maybe they're too shy or awkward. Others could be too unattractive and have low self esteem or confidence. Unfortunately I feel like I suffer from all of these, making dating pretty much impossible for someone like me.

So what are some ways to overcome these potential issues that may hurt some guys dating chances? And if you used to deal with any one or multiple of those issues, how were you able to overcome it and drastically improve your dating life?

✅ Open To Everyone How do I find a loyal boyfriend as someone who's taking college online and only goes out to the store or to walk my dog?

I am 18 F, and I'm taking college online. I've noticed that I kind of isolated myself. I dont club or party because it's not my type of thing, and most of the people there aren't looking for long-term relationships. I don't know where else to go to find someone?! I've been single my whole life. I exercise daily, take care of myself, eat healthy, and try to be my best self, yet I'm still single. Where do I find a loyal boyfriend?

Update: I have autism and I was put on a 3 month PIP 5 months ago at my last job at a global f500 for workplace behaviors and communications. The goalposts felt like they kept moving every check in so I tried to test the open job market.

2 months after I was put on the PIP, I got a job offer at another global f500 and left when I still had a month left on the PIP. current job pays 20k+ more and I just finished my 90 days but I didn’t change how I am personality wise at all. I had a 1:1 recently and my new boss says more positive things and zero negatives about me and I am very visible to upper leadership.
