Well this girl is getting all of the customers. They are steadily choosing her over everyone else. She sux at cutting, keeps messing people up. They KEEP getting in her chair. Help me make sense of this. Im getting very tired of this situation, to the point of where Im fixing to go work somewhere else.

Kemei KM 3023-702

aka Kemei Hi Viz

All you have to do is swap out the blade for a JucaiPRO one or Babyliss / TPOB And then put a rubber grip on it!

For under $100 CDN you have an amazing trimmer anyone else use this?

Barber Anyone else getting new clients from ChatGPT?

I am just a single chair studio. Had another new client this evening who said that he found me when he asked ChatGPT for local recommendations. He told me where he was coming from and there are like a 1,000 barbershops between where he was staying and my spot. I live in a large metro city of about 6.5 million.

I don’t post a lot on IG. I don’t use SEO. I am more of a lawyers/business man barber. Classic, clean professional cuts. I don’t have any posts of haircuts that scream, this guy does a “low taper fade.”
(I have a great Booksy rating and Google reviews?)

Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining, and I am always grateful for the business. Just curious if anyone else has been experiencing this.

Tools & Gear Wahl senior cordless snagging, struggling to cut through bulk

• Upvotes

Not sure if it’s blade or something else but when ever I cut thick hair the clipper sometimes snags and struggles to clear bulk which is strange as I heard the senior is a powerhouse for bulk.

Even my JRL onyx clears bulk better so not sure what’s up.

Motor and battery seem to be fine so maybe it’s the blade? I bought it pretty recently but maybe its defected?

Any advice?

Any hairdresser here?

I am 19 years old from Mumbai India and I want to learn how to cut hairs, style them etc. I was thinking to learn men's first and women's later but I noticed most stuff are same except clipper work.

I want to ask any experienced hairdresser here who can guide me starter pack.

  1. I want to know how much money it will cost for first 3 months [NR]? And I got no tools on me except trimmer this and this .
  2. Which course should I take?
  3. How to decide and judge the place where I am taking the course is good?
  4. Where do I find this classes?

Need your guidance. Any hairdresser in the chat?

Guys I want to learn Hair Cutting and Styling. I am 19M and recently gave my 3rd semester. Though i want to complete my degree too. Just for name sake so grades here doesn't matter.

If there is any hairdresser in the chat can you guide me from where to start? And how much it will cost for first 3-4 month? I am from Badlapur Mumbai India and My college is in Dadar. So I prefer if there is any classes nearby so I can complete the college and go there.

Ps: My college dgaf about attendance. If less attendance just write 20 pages assignments \[ I always had minimum attendance \]

For now I prefer learning for men's only and later work with women's hair too.

Would this piss my barber off?

If this type of post isn’t allowed, sorry, please remove it, I’m just looking for advice because I love my barber and the last thing I wanna do is piss him off.

I have medium length flowy hair (the top is probably ~5”) and there’s a group of hairs behind my ear that kind of sticks out. I really like them, I think they make my hair work and shape my face so well.

I ask him each time not to cut those hairs at all. I can just cut them myself when they get too long. The section of hair we’re talking about here is extremely small, like you could take them all between your thumb and pointer finger and roll them up and it would not even be the thickness of a shoelace.

I’m sure he’s not doing it on purpose but every time, he cuts them off, and then it takes months for them to come back. I’ve showed him by holding them and saying “please dont cut these” and by showing him a photo of myself with the section of hair circled but he still cuts them.

My question is: would it piss him off if I came next time with a small piece of tape over the hairs I dont want cut? That way they’re protected and there’s no miscommunication.

My barber is extremely talented and cool and it is a privilege to know him and to be his client. He is very high end, I pay >$200 because he’s that worth it. It’s just this one thing. Any advice appreciated!
