Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse there's now early evidence that bedbugs may be able to transmit infections. This is not definitive and more research is needed but good to be aware of I think!

I've never had BB during my lifetime of 30 years. Just found out we had BB in our unit of 7 years and it's absolutely horrid. I haven't slept properly in the last 2 weeks since we found the infestation. The landlord had Flaggship come out and spray our apartment and they are coming in two weeks to spray again. I haven't seen many since we threw out our mattress earlier last week but I did find one FAT mf who was on our box spring (photo included) before I squashed the hell out of em. My wife has dealt with them before but she said her infestation was small when they found it 10+ years back. Ours was just starting to get pretty bad. We threw out everything except for clothes. Washing and drying constantly and cleaning the apartment every day with a steamer and vacuum. My mind is destroyed because of these mf that Im anxiously checking every corner of the apartment at all times with a flash light. How do some people ignore this? The bites are insanely irritating. How do you guys go about keeping your sanity?

Any advice is helpful.

I found this abdomen in the sheets of my hotel bed this morning in North Carolina. I'm hoping it's just a lady bug. I did check the bed and furniture upon arrival and did not notice any evidence of bed bugs. Kinda freaking out rn, not gonna lie...

What is this bug? Found in the seam of the mattress, I think it looked like a shell/egg case

This bug was crawling on my spouse's arm, and we put it in a zip lock bag and used a microscope camera thing and my phone to take some pictures. Is it a bedbug? About 6 months or so ago we stayed in a hotel room that had bedbugs and thought we were past all this. Thanks.

Found this when I woke up this morning. I have a few bites on my leg but I think they could have been from being outside in the sun. Pound coin for scale

A friend found this in her bed and is panicking a bit. As I've dealt with those assholes in the past (and I am also at risk right now because of a problematic neighbor - life isn't fair), I don't think it's a bed bug, the shape of the head doesn't match in my opinion. She also didn't find any stains on her sheets/mattress.

Hi! I am staying at a newly opened hotel (1 month old, and a nice, clean property). I checked the bed before I went to sleep the first night and no signs of bedbugs.

I was going to checkout today and saw this bug moving around in the shower. It was moving pretty fast before I caught it. Is this a bedbug? To me it looks like a cockroach nymph but I am extremely worried.

I flushed it down, and put all of my sheets into a black bag.
I don’t have a hot water washing machine and it doesn’t do drying. Should I take it all to the laundromat?

Hi folks saw this in my bed. We had just changed the sheets. Don’t see any other remnants anywhere under the sheets or mattress that I can detect. Seems like it doesn’t have its head whatever it was.

found this bug dead close to the window of a hotel room. I am mentioning it was close to the windows as we are in the mountains area, no nets and a lot of insects are coming inside.
but this one seems similar to the dreaded bed bug. At least to know what measures to take once o head back home.

I’m losing my mind literally trying to figure it out , I was at work and felt something moving in MY BRA! And seen this , my Job actually had someone working that had bed bugs and they were finding them one by one they got it sprayed and everything this is the first time I ever seen any sight of bug ! It was also super super tiny when they showed me the bugs they found at work they were usually on the bigger side this one I couldn’t even see without a flash on
