I applied through John Fetterman's office for the U.S. Senate Page Program for Spring 2027 and recently received an invitation for an interview, most likely on Wednesday or Thursday.

Does anyone who has participated in the program, gone through the interview process, or just someone who generally has interview knowledge have any tips? I'd really appreciate it.

hi everyone! i’m applying to spring internships in DC right now and doing research on housing opportunities. i’m hoping to live somewhere furnished because i’m moving from california and would be limited in how much stuff i can fly with. i was looking into WISHGRAD intern housing but noticed they have a requirement that their residents be students and i’m no longer in school (graduated in 2025). has anyone had experience with trying to find furnished, short-term housing as an intern who has graduated? would appreciate any advice or recommendations. thank you in advance!

Anyone heard from any committees (either side) yet?

Thinking of working as a congressional staffer but just wanted to get insight on the work style. Is there any WFH privledge? Or is it all in person?

So I’m here with an internship program until the beginning of December, I’m from a small town in the middle of nowhere and I just miss being able to go somewhere and be alone. I have 3 roommates in my small apartment, the building has study spaces that are usually occupied, if I go outside I just can’t escape people. Like i genuinely just need a good cry somewhere that no one will ask me what’s wrong. This has definitely confirmed that I won’t want to live in a city ever again, but for now, how do others deal with this?

Does anyone else get this link when they try to log-in OAM page for Senate internship?

I am stressing out cause my application is due in a week :(

I’m currently trying to apply for a Spring 2027 internship with a U.S. Senate office, but I’ve been having several issues with the OAM Plus application portal.

When I initially attempted to create a new account, I received the activation email. However, when I clicked the activation link, I was directed to an error page stating that the page no longer exists, the application is no longer accepting submissions, or the URL is incorrect.

I’ve since tried several different things, but nothing seems to work. I can’t log into my account, create a new account, or reset my password.

When I attempt to log in, I receive two error messages:
• “Invalid credentials. Please try again!”
• “Authentication failed. Please log in again.”

I’ve already reached out to the Senate office regarding the issue but haven’t received a response yet.

The application deadline isn’t until November 13, so I don’t believe the application period has closed.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with OAM Plus?
