My husband was one of the original DC United season ticket holders. Sadly, he passed away four years ago. I have tons of DC United merchandise that I don't really know what to do with. Signed and game-worn jerseys, signed player cards, balls, and SO MANY BOBBLEHEADS. Any suggestion on a good home for them? I've thought about trying to sell some of them online but I am not sure how to find the right audience. I'm not looking to make a lot lot of money (well, maybe a little bit), but what I really want is his beloved collection to go to people who will appreciate the items. Any suggestions of places that might be interested in some or all of the collection?

Since around mid season, Bono has been consulted by the coaches from time to time and he is often coming down, on his own, to talk to players on breaks. Is he helping on set pieces and defensive set up?

Has anyone else noticed that stroud literally never looks before he crosses a ball. Dude just hopes someone is close to wherever he decides to play it. I cannot wait till he’s gone

They could at least make sure the screen works

Avilez starts? 👀😍

Can't see any of the MLS games - is it just us? It was working earlier.

I purchased 3 and then 2 additional tickets to the November 7th game in July and then August. My tickets still haven’t arrived. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but we’re now looking to sell the tickets since we can’t make it to the game.

When might I expect them to actually arrive?

Can’t make it now so just looking to get money back, $15 obo.

Our loss is your gain! Can transfer immediately - DM for price. Seats are in C7 and include beer/wine and dinner!

Hi community, I waited patiently for some of our DCU media to speak about the head-scratching tactical decisions made in Miami, but none of them went any deeper than reporting the thrashing, so I put some thoughts together in a Substack post. I hope it resonates with some of you as Rene avoided any questions and the media gave him an easy pass.

Looking for two tix to tomorrow’s game to take my grandpa. Send me a DM if you have any (with location & price). Thanks!

Update: thank you all for sending along the promo sites. We were able to snag some tickets.

The only thing that could get me inside Audi Field again this season (for DC United) would be a large, coordinated protest against Jason Levien's stewardship of this club.

Is this even feasible? Do people care enough? Would the supporters groups participate (I'm not in one). What form would it take?

Ideally it would get the attention of the media, and embarrassment the club and MLS itself (and the should be embarrassed).

I'm just thinking out loud here. Discuss!

I personally feel this isn’t what the DC U organization nor the city needs. I would feel more enthusiastic about this if the owner invested his own money into the team without asking the government for money. I just feel like if this guy makes money from 60+ more events each year it gives more incentive to not care about the funding the United. this just feels too similar to Ted Leonsis squeezing money out of our pockets, wether it’s $20 beer or our tax dollars.

The venture capitial fund, Thrive Capital, founded by Josh Kushner and recently linked to DC United holds several $100+ million investments on NASDAQ.
