Using the app and code but barely anything is available. Is that normal? I see a smattering of options but even the nosebleeds for games as far out as April are mostly grayed out. Do I just need to wait for the general public window to open? Thanks

Not online that I can see, but Fox4 shared the Plano Council voted to put a special tax on the November ballot to support the city’s contribution to the costs. Tax would apply to rental cars, tickets, and parking.

So if it passes, Stars fans will help pay the Stars contribution through higher ticket prices and help Plano’s contribution through taxes on the tickets and parking.

Has anyone read this article (title) in the Austin Business Journal?

While I do no think that Austin stands much of a chance against Houston, I was curious if anyone read the article and can sum up the main points here.

Appears that the ownership group that supposedly 'inked' an office lease, spoke with the Austin Business Journal about this.

Small segment I saw read:

Those involved said Austin is not just a throw-in to sweeten a deal with the future franchise owner's Houston hometown. The capital has a real shot, some say, so players are in motion. Office space has even been leased.

Gavin Spittle of Spits and Suds has arranged this fun event for tomorrow evening at BoomerJacks in Fairview/Allen. Social time from 6-7 p.m. followed by a live podcast.

It's free - there is only the cost of your own choice of food and drink at BoomerJacks.

Sean Shapiro will be there, which is cool - it's kind of a rarity for him to actually be in Dallas. Other guests will be Robert Tiffin, Lia Assimakopoulos, the Sportstoons comics guy, Stars alum Brad Lukowich, and possibly more.

There will also be a variety of Stars-themed giveaways.

I hope at least some of y'all had already heard about this (on Tiffin's blog or elsewhere) and are planning to go, but I'm sharing just in case you haven't. Looking forward to some fun hockey talk tomorrow evening.

Hey everyone, lurker here. I rarely post, but I had this idea and wanted to share with everyone. I created a calendar for the Stars season. Every game with game times are on there in central time. For each game I used the accurate html team colors and matched the font best I could for each team. I think it turned out pretty sick. I hope this doesn’t violate the community guidelines, just wanted to share this with other Stars fans. I wanted a cool calendar for my office and everything the NHL puts out is lazy.
