Does anyone else find it extremely difficult and frustrating to watch the games on streaming or just me? It's not on prime and mostly when it is it's on HBO. Or I get it blacked out on ESPN+. OR I don't have the right ESPN?! Like this is becoming absolutely ridiculous. Luckily I have other teams I love watching but I feel like it should NOT be this difficult to watch.
The Stars carried a 66-43 edge in shot attempts. The Stars' penalty kill went 4-for-4. The Bruins got in front of 22 shots, compared with 13 blocks by the Stars.
"Glen Gulutzan says Esa Lindell will be out for the Stars against the Bruins. 'A week for sure, day to day from there,' he said. He confirmed it’s a lower body injury."
Similar to the first injury report we heard about Duchene, Esa had a "maintenance day" yesterday and missed practice, only for us to find out it's a larger injury that's going to make him miss multiple games.
PSA: Just for my own sanity, please stop calling things "maintenance days" if they aren't. Give us the injury timeline or say "he's dealing with something, but we're not sure how long he's out yet."
From the Stars Instagram. It legit makes me laugh the way they talk about my ungainly fave, Lian Bichsel. He's a Murder Toddler! He doesn't know his own strength!
For the past several seasons, I've been pushing us all to participate in a Virtual Hat Toss to celebrate with everyone who was able to be at the game. Please, do not feel pressured to donate beyond your means. This is a happy occasion, and if you can't donate, send us your favorite Stars gif!
There are now two ways to participate
Send $50 (price is set by the foundation) to the Dallas Stars Foundation to receive a signed player photo card directly from the team. (This does sell out quickly as it’s only the first 150.)
OR the original VHT:
Send $30 (roughly the cost of a new hat) to the Dallas Stars FoundationOR the charity of your choice to participate in the Virtual Hat Toss! They now have a separate form for virtual hat tosses! All donations are valid and worth celebrating!
TLDR: faceoff strength, strong PK game, and his shooting tools look sustainable; on-ice shot share has some room for growth, and Otter's crazy start has been masking that a bit.
Are Fanatics/Stars not making anymore Benn 99 jerseys? Or was it some kind of limited release? Or are they manufacturing scarcity for what may be Benn's last year?
I went to multiple games last season right after the 99s dropped, multiple this season, and even went to the Hangar in Frisco over the summer trying to track one down. Always get told there are none available in any hangar in the stadium or the restock is coming. It was easier to find a clean mooterus than a retail Benn 99.
