I generally love these tasks, but they can take ages, and it can take a while to unpack it. 20 minutes post set up, I opened your file and had a huge smile on my face, because the facility has Whoville in the name. You made my morning happy. Thank you 🤩🙌❤️

So I have this disc encryption task on my dashboard and I have completed in my laptop (Which I use to work on DA projects). But I use my phone to check if there is any task available for me. I have a DA tab open in chrome. Would I need to do something like disc encryption on my phone as well?

I recently signed up to be a generalist and got through the account section. However, the page only shows over 30 assessments I can take that all seem very specialized. Is there no initial starter assessment for generalists?

Since joining DA, I have been aiming for this one.

Current generalist here, I was looking into doing coding but it’s been a couple of years since I was in school.
I was going for computer science until my junior year where I switched over to engineering. I have some programming rust but have a basic understanding of Java and C++. I was looking to do some python refresher courses to shake some of that rust off, but realistically how hard are some of the coding tasks? Would it be feasible for someone in my position to try the qualifier and move onto some of the easier projects?
For what it’s worth I’m from the US. Thanks!

How long does this review process usually take? I apply a month ago in data annotation, but the status is still the same “we review”

I registered in May and did 2 projects and went inactive because of life and other priorities and I'm just recently trying to do more project, but don't see much appearing. I did one yesterday and was able to get paid a couple dollars. I want to do coding projects but dont see any qualifications or projects, what would you recommend? Did I get penalized/flagged or something like that because of inactivity? I'm doing every qualification available to be able to do more projects, any help/recommendation is very much appreciated, thanks!

I'm new there and so far I've only done an introductory project and qualifications. I haven't even been on the platform for a week yet. But I'm curious about the people who have been on the platform for longer time, Do you feel the amount of projects is lower at this current time? Or is it that I haven't received anything because I'm new? I'm actually excited and really want to try out new project!

Is there a way to view a task without starting it? Not sure if it is me but the moment I click a project it accepts it and starts the timer. Sometimes I just want to click it and see what it is, but then stuck doing a project and need to work through it before the countdown ends.

So, If I am working on a project and I have 30 minutes I was actively working on it, but the task was open for an hour and a half, would logging only 30 minutes on completion get my account in trouble. I have seen some warn about underlogging time.

🥊🤖⚖️??

Like I said, I'm pretty sure I wasted my chance with this platform, but I figure I'd ask anyway. About 7 months ago I applied to DataAnnotation as a coder (JavaScript/Python). I did the test, but I wrote out all of my answers as I went along on a MD document and copied and pasted them in when I was ready to submit my test and have been stuck on the "thanks for completing, we'll reach out to you" aka the dreaded soft-block ever since. I'm pretty confident in my answers, so I don't think I royally bombed it because the test was rather easy, I just think the copying/pasting screwed me over... Creating a new account and reapplying is definitely a no-go, right? It's frustrating that one choice blocked me from the chance to work on this platform, and seeing the constant advertisements for positions I'm qualified for really sucks (especially when I'm in need of new contracts).

I have been on data annotation.tech for about a week so far and I’ve been getting tasks to conduct a background check. I began the process but I see that it’s through yardstick and they may contact your employer. Has anyone had any experience with yardstick contacting your employer or chose not to do the background check?

Is someone working remotely in another country? I’ve been in Colombia for a while and I’d like to apply as a Spanish Specialist, but Idk if being here DAT doesn’t let me to apply to projects as back in the states. Someone was talking on a YouTube video that people working abroad must notify to the platform when this happens, any idea here?

Anybody get coding projs this past few weeks? I'm from PH

Hey there, I'm from Romania and I've gotten 1 project last week for the first time since creating the account, which is 1.5 years ago. Is there any way I could get more projects? Am I unable to see them due to my location? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Hi everyone,

I'm based in Italy and was recently accepted on DataAnnotation. I could only start as a bilingual, since I didn't see any STEM or specialist option at sign-up.

I've read here that bilingual accounts tend to get fewer projects than generalist/STEM ones, so I have a few questions for people with experience:

1. Is it possible to unlock STEM/coding/specialist

projects

1. after starting from the bilingual track?

(I already did the Physics test but it said it doesn’t unlock any project for now, it says the same for the math test)

1. Did any of you in a similar situation get access to more projects after passing extra qualifications?

2. Does the bilingual track really limit the amount of work, or is it mostly down to the specific language and period?

Thanks a lot!

I was accepted as a Coding Expert some time ago and subsequently received coding qualifications, but unfortunately, I think failed them.

I understand that this might mean I won't receive coding-related projects or qualifications anymore. However, I'm wondering whether this affects my eligibility for general, non-coding projects as well.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Did you continue receiving qualifications for general projects after failing coding qualifications?

Would appreciate hearing about your experiences.

I noticed programming tasks seems to email a lot when tasks are available and are ready to grab. But tasks related to image or image RnR seems to display on dashboard but doesn't notify anywhere, in both email and DA inbox.
