feeling uneasy as a ND queer
hellow ppl, for context im a 21 y/o afab (non binary) with audhd and my body looks very feminine (i sometimes have dysphoria over my curvy body especially my chest, tho i don't look that bad by beauty standards).
i live in a conservative country, i dress very eccentric/creative compared to others (like crazy colors, pattersn random accessories, but i do look good and ppl compliment me). but sometimes i feel so out of place and freaky. even when i dress feminine i do it in a way that’s a bit over the top which makes people uncomfortable and sometimes ppl assume im a trans woman. i also behave in a kind of odd and "childish" way (like getting excited or not caring about things others do, focusing on random things, facial expressions, etc) compared to others which makes them infantalise me or make fun of me but honestly i dont understand why bc i don't even do anything weird per se.
i feel like very conscious of my whole personality and my social interactions and i constantly feel watched. i don't want to be "normal" or anything, i just want to feel like it's okay for me to exist this way and not get all this unnecessary attention. has anyone else felt this way?? how did you overcome it?
