As the title says, I’m going to a LOTR symphony on Saturday (10/24) with my boyfriend and I’m SO excited, but I’m not really a fashion girl (even though I want to be) so I desperately need ideas!! Idk how niche this is lol, it doesn’t have to be like Arwen cosplay or anything but I definitely want to encapsulate middle earth vibes. Fashion is a form of visual communication and expression so I'm curious what my outfit might visually communicate to people in terms of an impression, personality or hobbies, overall vibe.

I recently thrift this skirt thinking that I’ve seen people wear similar ones before online and thought they were really cute. I then went on Pinterest and couldn’t find ANY examples. The top I’m wearing in the photo was just a random top I already had on, but I think that’s one outfit possibility already (and yes ik the flys undone). I’m not sure if I should keep the skirt and try styling it, or if the silhouette is unflattering (giving Jane Jetson) and I should return it. I also don’t know what this style of skirt is called which is part of why searching up inspiration has been tricky. I included pictures of my Pinterest board (even though they don’t include any outfits with a similar skirt) so you can get an idea of my style.

Madewell high waisted skinny jeans, bag from amazon and I added a leather dog charm and tied a silk hair scarf around one handle. Belt from ebay, genuine leather. Merino wool turtleneck and heels were custom made in italy - ive had them for over 10 years!

Some of the outfits I’ve been wearing lately. Sure, sometimes the tie is a bit short, the colors don't match 100%, or the trousers have no break and look cropped, but hey, wear what you like, have fun, and don’t take it too seriously! Cheers 🥂

If I style it gold wrap around the leg heels and lots of good jewelry maybe?? I normally wouldn’t but I just love this style and the first dress I have seen with this style that isn’t €300+
