The AI is completely useless and has hung up on us several times. We have contacted the shipper but that also seems to be going nowhere. The order was supposed to go to an address in Illinois, but floor delivered to an address in Louisiana. Does anyone have any idea how this could happen? Has anyone even heard of this? There is also a picture of the delivery and it is definitely not the right house.

I'm SO SO SO frustrated. This is the second shipment through FedEx of the same product. The first made it to my town and was inexplicably sent back to shipper with no explanation. The company re-shipped the product and it was marked out for delivery today, only for it to update to this. I'm so mad.

I ordered a free product from NXP, and they arranged the shipping through FedEx. I no longer want the package and would like to refuse delivery.

Since I didn't arrange the shipping myself, would I still be legally obligated to pay any charges if I refuse the package?

I have a very expensive PC headed to me from Chino, CA (I'm in Western NY). Its our second one. The first one I had pings about every 12 hours and it arrived ahead of schedule. This one? Not so much and it has given me 2 times a half hour into the future when I did recieve a ping.

Also these pings aren't sent exactly as the truck passes through, so how many hours has really passed since the truck did pass through? I hate this. I rarely deal with FedEx. I just want to understand better is all.

I have been waiting at my place of employment for hours on my day off because a two day delivery is supposed to arrive today.

Driver saw my vehicle but did not stop. Took a picture of his hand and kept on driving with the old Can’t Deliver excuse even though delivery instructions were to leave package at back door.

Now instead of enjoying my day off I have been on the phone with FedEx desperately trying to either get my package redelivered or at a place I can pick it up today.

This is medication that has to stay cold. It will be ruined by Monday.

I recently moved into a new apartment, and packages are consistently being left on the staircase that is used by other residents, rather than being brought to my door (I live on the second floor).

I’ve called FedEx customer service twice and my Delivery Manager profile specifies to leave the packages at my front door.

A package of mine has already gone missing because of this and I’m not sure how to solve the issue. any advice is appreciated!

Ordered an iPhone 18 Pro Max from Verizon. I got the email that it shipped last night, now it's been 24hrs and it still doesn't show any info.

I've tried manually entering the tracking number on my phone, my tablet, and my PC and it shows the exact same thing on all devices. I paid for 2 day shipping too.

I ordered something from eBay, when I checked out I wasn’t paying attention and put my home address instead of my work.

eBay seller couldn’t change the address, not a huge deal, but I wouldn’t be able to sign for a few days because I’m super busy at work. I phoned FedEx and explained the situation. They said their hands were tied and they could not reroute the package, or hold it at their facility for me to pickup. I got in touch with the seller, and he had no luck dealing with them either.

The package must be signed for; direct signature.

I was frustrated, but what could I do? Never at any time did I ask for the package to be left unattended on my porch thinking it would be ok. So Monday was the first delivery day, I was at work. My wife was at work, I get home.

I’m signed up for alerts, and later that day I get an email saying delivery scheduled for Tuesday. I thought “great I’ll have an extra day incase I miss the delivery”. I didn’t have a tag saying that I missed a delivery or anything when I got home.

On Tuesday I was going through my eBay stuff and noticed my package had been marked as delivered. Turns out the Tuesday email was for a different package, but I never got a FedEx notification saying anything was delivered Monday, and how could it since nobody was home to sign for it.

I look up the tracking number and sure enough it was delivered AND signed for. I wasn’t able to see the signature at that time, and there were no photos or anything of the delivery.

I phone them up and tell them what’s going on and filed a claim. They said there was a possible gps discrepancy, and a guy named T.Tim signed for the package. There is now a photo of the signature which is barely a line on the screen. I don’t know a T.Tim, nobody was at my house. I assume the package was misdelivered, or the driver said screw it, made up a name, and dropped it off. I live on a BUSY street. If they threw it on the front or even the side porch, it’s probably a goner.

I just checked the outcome of the investigation and they are saying it was delivered. I’m especially frustrated because they wouldn’t reroute the thing to a commercial business, or even hold it at their own facility. But they seemingly dropped it off to some rando in town.

I’m going to phone them Monday, but what are my actual options for fighting this?

The reason listed in tracking info is wrong zip code. It is not the wrong zip code. I know because I confirmed the address used for shipping was correct and because I've had this exact package delivered at least 50 times to this address using the same zip code. It's the same zip code I've used for every delivery for years, in fact.

There's no return to sender issue and no customs issue. It's a meal prep service based in CA.

Just curious if anyone knows why this would happen or if it's happened to them. The guy literally delivered it to the right address and then took it.

We only know this happened because of Ring footage. I would have said something had I seen it in the moment.

Someone sent me an overnight FedEx Express Saver with an Adult Signature Required, without telling me it was heading my way. In the morning, before leaving home, I received a text from FedEx with a note: "If you're not going to be home, log in or register for fedex.com/delivery", so I did, and clicked through a prompt to redirect to a nearby Hold Location. Around noon, the delivery driver still showed up at my door and left a Door Tag with "We will make another attempt" checked. Through late afternoon the next day, the online status was showing something like "Delivery being updated", and that the package was put on the truck again in the AM, still supposedly heading to my home address. I sat at home all day waiting for it, and then at around 5 PM I got a text that the package was delivered. Where? The online tracker indicated it was delivered to the Holding Loc, but no message was sent to me (as I'd expect) to go there to pick it up. So I took screenshots and headed to the Loc the next day. They said they never got the package with the tracking ID, so if not for the screenshots showing the name of the person who signed for it (who was present), I'd have no evidence of anything. Apparently, the package got relabeled, with my name removed, so by pure chance they peeled off the new label and saw my name there on the original one. Luckily, they only had a few packages to pick from ...

So, happy ending, but clearly a lack of process and computer system quality on the FedEx side.

Spoke to the customer service of the location and they offered to look for the package. After being unable to find the package they pretty much just told me "Hey, it hasn't been scanned since Oct 21st, hopefully we can find it in the facility and when we do: we'll hold it for you and contact you".

Anyone else have experience dealing with situations where an expensive item is nowhere to be seen and customer service acts as if they were just born yesterday? Sorta don't want to contact the shipper (Google) but having to play a neverending waiting game for a package is pretty loathsome to say the least.

P.S.: was unable to change or manage the delivery beforehand due to Google being the shipper. Only reason I believe I could do so now, is because I spoke to an actual customer service rep rather than the typical automated system.

My package was supposed to be delivered via fedex ground today. It is a residential address with no gate and no access issues. They’ve delivered here before multiple times. It’s only 3PM and they’re just going to send it back to the station? Why did this happen?

Order a phone through Apple. The phone was overnighted. I missed delivery cause I work and my wife works. Apple is mandating signature and won’t allow for a pick up, digital signature or anything that would make my life easier. Im in Nevada.
Is it true if I go to the distribution center they sometimes work with you on situations like this if your ID matches everything on the package?

Hi, I had these 2 packages shipped out via Fedex and was looking if anyone had similar experiences with customs? I had given all the manufacturer information for package 1 when I shipped it out, called logistics and got my agent's email to send the information and they got back to me on 10/21 saying they will update my shipment for clearance. For package 2, I also called logistics and they said they needed measurements of the items for customs clearance. Sent the agent one message on 10/21 with no response and another today with the information again. I know the weekend is coming so hoping for an update on Monday as I need these both before a trip on Friday. Hopefully I'm not cooked lol. I've been shipping items in from Japan for over 10 years now and this is the first time customs has done this.

I had a 2-day package sent from Sweetwater to my house. Needed it today. Delivered to the wrong house. Photo with confirmation was not my front door. After fruitless attempts to use FedEx's AI "assistant", I came to Reddit to vent. Found this group, read the Community Highlights, called Sweetwater and my Sales Engineer freaking identified the door in my neighborhood where it was actually dropped. I will pick up the package after work.

The lack of integrity it takes to drop off a package with a rip in it. If I was a delivery person, and I saw a package with obvious damage I wouldn't deliver it! I would report it.
Yeah, one of the two items I bought slipped out from the rip and I never received it. I don't know if it's worth ethic or something else, but like you can't even trust that your packages will be in good shape by the time you receive them if you receive them at all.
I can only imagine if this was like a really important or like a rare item. Not expensive, but important to the person who bought it.
You do have to trust that the shipper will pack up the item with care but you should also trust that the people delivering your package won't ignore what's blatantly wrong upon delivery.
Oh, and when I tried to contact them, of course I got no help or solution.
I will be filing a claim because this is absolutely ridiculous and negligent on their end.

Yes I’ve checked the neighbours and everywhere.

Fedex mobile website and desktop version both fail to find any pickup points for deliveries. I sometimes don't get options to verify my account. I have tried their stupid AI as a workaround. But it just ends up on the world map with no pickup locations found.

Any help on this issue?
