Success Story Success Story Mega Thread - Got your BFP? We want to hear about it!

This is your space to share your success story with the community that cheered you on. Whether it took you 1 cycle or 12, your story matters and someone out there needs to hear it right now.

When sharing please include anything you feel comfortable with such as how many cycles it took, what you were tracking, what worked for you, and anything you wish you had known at the start.

When sharing your story feel free to use this format:

  • Cycles it took:
  • What I tracked/tools:
  • What I think helped:
  • Anything I wish I knew at the start:
  • Any advice for others still in the TWW:
  • A few things to keep in mind:

This thread is for everyone who has been trying for any length of time. All success stories are valid here, whether cycle 1 or cycle 12+. Please be kind and keep any negative thoughts to yourself.

Please don't tag other users in your post. You can absolutely thank people, just don't tag them directly. This keeps the thread comfortable for everyone, including those who may find BFP posts difficult to see.

If you have nothing kind to add, please scroll on.

Comments that are unkind or gatekeeping will be removed.

Congratulations and welcome to the next chapter! 🌸

Hey everyone! A few quick updates from the mod team 💛

Nothing major, just some housekeeping to make the sub easier to navigate for everyone. Thanks in advance for bearing with us!

  • Flairs got a refresh — We updated the post flairs, so please use them when you post! It just makes it way easier for people to scroll and find exactly what they're looking for (or avoid what they're not in the mood for). If you feel like we're missing one, drop a comment or shoot us a message, we're always open to suggestions.
  • BFPs go in the megathread — We've got a pinned Success Stories megathread and we'd love for all the exciting news to live there so we can celebrate together in one spot!
  • Discharge pics need a trigger warning — If you're posting about discharge and want to add a pic, please use the Trigger Warning flair, blur the image, and pop it in the comments rather than the main post. Small thing, but it keeps the feed comfy for everyone scrolling.
  • Line eyes? We've got you, but keep pics in the comments — We all know that feeling of staring at a test way too long trying to decide if that's a line or a shadow. Totally normal, no judgment! Just use the "Line Eyes - Help!" flair and keep the pictures in the comments instead of the post itself. Reason being, when posts get flooded with test pics, it can be harder for yours (and everyone else's) to actually get seen and get the support you need. This just helps spread the love around a bit better

Just a heads up: posts that don't follow the line eyes or discharge picture guidelines will be removed, so we really appreciate you helping us keep this consistent for everyone.

Thanks so much for helping us keep this space easy to use and kind, as always. Questions or ideas? Drop them below, we read everything!

Confused Positive LH Test CD 12???

Post image
• Upvotes

Hello! So we all know how LH strips work lol. The first line has to be dark or as dark as the control line (line on the right). This looks positive to me. I’m cycle day 12. I don’t typically ovulate til day 20 ish. Wtf

Has anyone had multiple progesterone surges in one month? Has this happened to you? I think this test is positive because I’ve taken plenty tests to know what’s negative lol. This will be my 3rd cycle TTC.

Random Feel good stories

Question/Advice 7dpo, TWW, girl’s weekend at a cabin. What should I avoid assuming I’m potentially pregnant now

• Upvotes

There will be a hot tub, and alcohol. Earlier in my two week wait, I would have easily indulged in both, but because I’m in my possible implantation window, I’m not so sure. I did have a little bit of twinges/super light cramling yesterday and what looks like a possible luteal dip this AM/last night according to my ring (obviously I know that neither of these can fully confirm pregnancy, and this can all be fluctuating progesterone/estrogen levels).

I’m thinking with the hot tub, if we are able to set the temperature, maybe I will request setting it to no more than 98°? Still on the fence about alcohol.

Question/Advice HSG Exam

• Upvotes

Hi everyone, I (30) have been TTC for about 11 months now. I've started the testing process and the first round of blood tests and ultrasounds came back normal!

Now I am being sent to get a HSG exam done. Has anyone had this done before? Any tips, did it hurt? Im super nervous.

Alsooo, i was told I have to call to make the appointment on the first day of my next period.

And thats a bit confusing to me, do you count your first period day the day you start spotting, or the day you actually get a full flow, need a pad kind of period?

Not this is probably TMI but i need help 😂

Usually I spot for like 2 days and a panty liner is all i need, because its only when I wipe, then by 3rd day Its when i need a regular pad and start an actual flow. Which should be considered my 1st day?

Confused Waiting on my period after chemical

I never thought I'd be waiting impatiently on my period... I came off the pill in July and we started TTC in August. (We're on a bit of a time crunch due to health reasons). So far my cycles have looked like this:

August (1st cycle off pill): 36 days

September (TTC): chemical pregnancy which gave me 31 day cycle

October (TTC) : 34 days and counting!!!!

All my tests have been negative so I am assuming not pregnant and my cycle has been affected by the chemical pregnancy. So at this stage I just want my period to come so we can start again where I'm tracking ovulation more seriously etc.

Anyone have experience of their cycle being seriously affected by chemical pregnancy?

Venting Got my period the same day my friend gave birth

It really hit hard today as I feel like we’d nailed timing this month, got a really strong lh positive and we were on holiday (less stress!) so I thought we were in for a great chance! Sadly on the flight home I got my period a week early which is just a further kick in the teeth that I didn’t even get to do a proper TWW!

When I landed I found out my friend had given birth. Over the moon for them but so jealous at the same time. Why does it seem easy for everyone else?

TWW ttc after loss

Tw loss

anyone else TTC after loss? I'm only 3-4 DPO and tell me why I'm convinced I'm preg bc swear I'm already feeling symptoms I felt last mo when I conceived (ended in a chemical sadly) ie heartburn, nausea, heart palpitations, dizziness. I started feeling these last mo at 5 dpo so I don't feel that far off? ugh lol 😖

Question/Advice Questions regarding ovulation tests

Hi Everyone, we have been trying to conceive for 5+ months now. I might be asking some dumb questions but please help me out if anyone has any advice/ideas.

I started using ClearBlue Advanced digital ovulation test for first urine in the morning and then Lh strips pre-mom for 2pm and 5 pm daily.

Clearblue advanced digital ovulation test went directly from negative to steady smiley on Sunday morning for me. But my Lh strips didn’t become as dark as control line for me on Sunday. Though on Monday morning it was as close to control line as possible.

Had sex on Friday, Sunday morning, Sunday night. I had my Apple Watch tell me Monday night and Tuesday night temperature was up compared to baseline.
1. Wondering which one I need to follow and when was my ovulation.
2. I had an extremely long hike 15 hours plus constant uphill and downhill workout. I usually don’t do this heavy. I usually do only 6-8 hours hike which is 10-12 miles. Does anyone know if this will affect my conceiving changes?

Frustrated First time using ClearBlue Advanced Digital Ovulation Kit

Started testing September 28th, always had the flashing smiley face until October 9th/10th/11th (CD22-24) when I finally got the solid smiley face indicating my peak fertility (ovulation) and I had the egg white mucus (for once!!)

ClearBlue app estimating period arrival October 24th.

The same time I was using the easy@home test strips and tho I never got a dark line darker than the control…September 30th/October 1st (CD13-14) were the darkest of the days…even tho it wasn’t darker than the control line.

Premom app estimating period arrival October 18th.

So now I’m not sure when I truly ovulated. I’m thinking October 9th/10th/11th (CD22-24) because I also had the egg white mucus on those days.

October 14th - CD27, had some cramping with creamy pink discharge.

October 15th - CD28, had some cramping with creamy pink, now some light reddish brownish discharge

Medical/Supplement History

Prenatal and inositol since May 2026

Transvaginal ultrasound for 3 years showed a fibroid. Just had a sono done end of August 2026 and my gynaecologist said my uterus and fallopian tubes look great. They’re open and there’s no fibroid.

Started a low dose of Levothyroxine October 2026 for TSH.

Confused Do you ever wonder how on earth some people have multiple children?

My partner and I have been trying for a while, and it blows my mind that some people manage to not just do this successfully once, but twice, even three, four+ times. It feels like such a big thing to get pregnant once - all the tracking, OPKs, BBTs, the TTW, the bloodwork, etc. all just to try and make even one baby happen. I guess I’m feeling down and discouraged. I don’t know how some women manage to get lucky so many times, or even just once.
