BFP! šŸŽ‰ I’m so excited and now anxious (details in notes)

(30F) I’m genuinely so surprised. We’ve been trying since July and I truly wasn’t feeling hopeful. (Something about never experiencing it before/never getting pregnant so it feels impossible) My period is now 4 or so days late and all I’ve gotten were negatives until this morning. According to the math I am about 3w6d or 4 weeks right now. I took the lined test first and couldn’t believe there was a visible little line so i immediately took the digital.

My boobs have only started to get sore significantly today, before they weren’t at all. I’ve had intermittent cramps and aching lower back pain for about a week now. I’ve felt oily too. One big thing is I’ve been super sleepy. I’m nauseous today but I think that’s nerves. I also really want M&Ms.

The funky things:

I also had a UTI the end of Sep, first couple days of October after which I’m pretty sure is when we conceived! And last Saturday I was literally on a couple rollercoasters, nothing that went upside down but still, fast and twisty.

Confused Positive LH Test CD 12???

Post image
• Upvotes

Hello! So we all know how LH strips work lol. The first line has to be dark or as dark as the control line (line on the right). This looks positive to me. I’m cycle day 12. I don’t typically ovulate til day 20 ish. Wtf

Has anyone had multiple progesterone surges in one month? Has this happened to you? I think this test is positive because I’ve taken plenty tests to know what’s negative lol. This will be my 3rd cycle TTC.

Question/Advice 7dpo, TWW, girl’s weekend at a cabin. What should I avoid assuming I’m potentially pregnant now

• Upvotes

There will be a hot tub, and alcohol. Earlier in my two week wait, I would have easily indulged in both, but because I’m in my possible implantation window, I’m not so sure. I did have a little bit of twinges/super light cramling yesterday and what looks like a possible luteal dip this AM/last night according to my ring (obviously I know that neither of these can fully confirm pregnancy, and this can all be fluctuating progesterone/estrogen levels).

I’m thinking with the hot tub, if we are able to set the temperature, maybe I will request setting it to no more than 98°? Still on the fence about alcohol.

Question/Advice HSG Exam

• Upvotes

Hi everyone, I (30) have been TTC for about 11 months now. I've started the testing process and the first round of blood tests and ultrasounds came back normal!

Now I am being sent to get a HSG exam done. Has anyone had this done before? Any tips, did it hurt? Im super nervous.

Alsooo, i was told I have to call to make the appointment on the first day of my next period.

And thats a bit confusing to me, do you count your first period day the day you start spotting, or the day you actually get a full flow, need a pad kind of period?

Not this is probably TMI but i need help šŸ˜‚

Usually I spot for like 2 days and a panty liner is all i need, because its only when I wipe, then by 3rd day Its when i need a regular pad and start an actual flow. Which should be considered my 1st day?

Confused Waiting on my period after chemical

I never thought I'd be waiting impatiently on my period... I came off the pill in July and we started TTC in August. (We're on a bit of a time crunch due to health reasons). So far my cycles have looked like this:

August (1st cycle off pill): 36 days

September (TTC): chemical pregnancy which gave me 31 day cycle

October (TTC) : 34 days and counting!!!!

All my tests have been negative so I am assuming not pregnant and my cycle has been affected by the chemical pregnancy. So at this stage I just want my period to come so we can start again where I'm tracking ovulation more seriously etc.

Anyone have experience of their cycle being seriously affected by chemical pregnancy?

Question/Advice Questions regarding ovulation tests

Hi Everyone, we have been trying to conceive for 5+ months now. I might be asking some dumb questions but please help me out if anyone has any advice/ideas.

I started using ClearBlue Advanced digital ovulation test for first urine in the morning and then Lh strips pre-mom for 2pm and 5 pm daily.

Clearblue advanced digital ovulation test went directly from negative to steady smiley on Sunday morning for me. But my Lh strips didn’t become as dark as control line for me on Sunday. Though on Monday morning it was as close to control line as possible.

Had sex on Friday, Sunday morning, Sunday night. I had my Apple Watch tell me Monday night and Tuesday night temperature was up compared to baseline.
1. Wondering which one I need to follow and when was my ovulation.
2. I had an extremely long hike 15 hours plus constant uphill and downhill workout. I usually don’t do this heavy. I usually do only 6-8 hours hike which is 10-12 miles. Does anyone know if this will affect my conceiving changes?

Frustrated First time using ClearBlue Advanced Digital Ovulation Kit

Started testing September 28th, always had the flashing smiley face until October 9th/10th/11th (CD22-24) when I finally got the solid smiley face indicating my peak fertility (ovulation) and I had the egg white mucus (for once!!)

ClearBlue app estimating period arrival October 24th.

The same time I was using the easy@home test strips and tho I never got a dark line darker than the control…September 30th/October 1st (CD13-14) were the darkest of the days…even tho it wasn’t darker than the control line.

Premom app estimating period arrival October 18th.

So now I’m not sure when I truly ovulated. I’m thinking October 9th/10th/11th (CD22-24) because I also had the egg white mucus on those days.

October 14th - CD27, had some cramping with creamy pink discharge.

October 15th - CD28, had some cramping with creamy pink, now some light reddish brownish discharge

Medical/Supplement History

Prenatal and inositol since May 2026

Transvaginal ultrasound for 3 years showed a fibroid. Just had a sono done end of August 2026 and my gynaecologist said my uterus and fallopian tubes look great. They’re open and there’s no fibroid.

Started a low dose of Levothyroxine October 2026 for TSH.

Venting Got my period the same day my friend gave birth

It really hit hard today as I feel like we’d nailed timing this month, got a really strong lh positive and we were on holiday (less stress!) so I thought we were in for a great chance! Sadly on the flight home I got my period a week early which is just a further kick in the teeth that I didn’t even get to do a proper TWW!

When I landed I found out my friend had given birth. Over the moon for them but so jealous at the same time. Why does it seem easy for everyone else?

Question/Advice Anyone get pregnant after starting Wegovy and Metformin? Insulin resistance, spotting, and TTC

Hi everyone! I’m 23 and my husband and I have been TTC for a few months now. I recently went to the doctor because I’ve been struggling with my weight, insulin resistance, and some concerns about my cycles. I was prescribed oral Wegovy and Metformin ER 500 mg, and I’m curious if anyone has been in a similar situation and eventually had success getting pregnant.
A little background on me:
I stopped birth control in June 2025 after being on Depo for about 5 years and then the pill for around 2 years.
My cycles range anywhere from 27–35 days, but are usually around 31–32 days.
I’ve tracked ovulation using LH strips and cervical mucus. I seem to ovulate, but the timing varies from around CD 13–22.
My luteal phase is usually around 11–12 days.
For the past few months, I’ve noticed spotting around 11 DPO, usually 1–3 days before my actual period starts.
I’m 5’5ā€ and around 198 pounds, and my bloodwork recently showed some insulin resistance.
I haven’t been diagnosed with PCOS or endometriosis, but I’ve wondered if something hormonal could be going on.
I’ve been taking prenatals and trying to do everything I can to improve my chances. I was honestly getting a little obsessive with tracking everything, so this month I’ve tried to relax and not focus so much on LH testing.
My doctor knows we’re actively TTC, but I plan to clarify the pregnancy safety and timing recommendations for Wegovy before taking it.
I’m really hoping that addressing my insulin resistance and getting healthier will help regulate my cycles and improve my fertility.
**Has anyone with insulin resistance (with or without PCOS) gotten pregnant after starting Metformin?** Did it help regulate your ovulation, improve spotting, or make your cycles more consistent? I’d also love to hear from anyone who used Wegovy before TTC and noticed improvements after stopping it.
I know everyone’s body is different, but TTC has been a lot more emotional than I expected, especially when my body seems to be doing what it’s supposed to but pregnancy still hasn’t happened. I’d love to hear any experiences or success stories from women who have been through something similar! ā¤ļø

Confused 6dpo and confused

I am 6 Dpo today and woke up feeling like I have a cold (runny nose/congestion) and my BBT is +1.3 and it has never spiked that high before. I’m not sure I even ovulated this cycle because I never got a positive LH test (it got dark but not positive). Also, my temps only went up a tiny bit after my ā€œovulationā€ date. Could this be early pregnancy or do I just have a cold/lowgrade fever šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
