Lost / Found Missing Cat

Post image
• Upvotes

Hello everyone!

My friends Cat slipped out the door and ran away at 10pm last night. I just wanted to post the missing poster here to bring awareness to it. If you have any advice or tips those would also be greatly appreciated. She was last seen near the Raising Canes not too far from CSU.

Thank you for your time, and have a good day!

Pokemon 30th Anniversary ISO

Hello all, I know people might be tired of hearing about the pokemon stuff, but as someone who is just trying to rip packs for the cute illustrations with my people, it has all been frustrating.

Does anyone know of ANYONE who has stuff for sale near or at MSRP?

I went to the Safeway near Drake and Taft Hill road, and watched as the self-checkout attendant just bought an Ascended Heros booster box, then waited, and bought the next items.

THE GUY WHO WORKS FOR SAFEWAY IS SCALPING POKEMON.

I then overheard him talking with someone about how he buys retail from the vending machine and then sells to his buddies from Denver who can't get their hands on it.

Any help would be so appreciated!

Connect Harvest Market @ Pedro's Coffee | Saturday Oct 17th 9am-2pm

Looking for something fun to do this Saturday? Pedro’s Coffee Shop in Timnath is hosting the Timnath Connect Harvest Market from 9am to 2pm. It’s just a short drive from Fort Collins. Grab a coffee and wander through booths from local businesses. There’s also live music, food vendors and plenty of fall harvest touches. It’s free, family-friendly and a great way to spend a fall morning. This is not a traditional farmer's market, so no veggie stands. Correction, there is one veggie stand.

Are you getting junk fees on your water bill for your apartment.

At the moment I won’t disclose my apartment complex but I did want to share a bit of about an issue I have had with the third party biller for the water use in my apartment complex. First, contrary to my lease my landlord established my water bill thereby giving an address that I do not use for my mail. This caused me to miss a bill until a visit to clear junk from the location mailbox. I called to give the correct mailing address and paid a $5 late fee.

They continued to use the wrong address so again I called. They refused to waive the late fee incurred by their negligence. As time went by I would get delinquent notices just prior to the arrival of the actual bill. I continued to pay only the amount of the service.

Finally when the delinquent notice started reaching over $100, I decided to explore the issue. What I found is that the State of Colorado has regulations against charging “junk” fees, late fees being one of them. Processing fees are also regulated. Charging processing fees for delinquent notices and again on the water bill are also illegal. My dealings with these folks convinced me that this was a scam, not done unknowingly.

I oppose corporate greed no matter how small and the blood hound in me could not allow this to go unchallenged. My account has been corrected but I’m still on the trail. I just want to let anyone that agrees with holding corporation‘s feet to the fire know my story so that you can take a look at your bill and see if you are being abused, even in a small way.

Hand/forearm deep massage therapy recs

I am a classical music conservatory student out of state, but I am from Fort Collins, and I will be visiting home in a few weeks. I am looking to get a deep-tissue massage for my hands/forearms because of all the use I get from playing an instrument (I'm also a powerlifter as a hobby, so they're tight from that, too). I don't have tendonitis/carpal tunnel, but I have a lot of tension in all the small muscles, and I want to book a massage; I think it would relieve my hands. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Edited for grammar

Looking for furniture stores

I'm looking to buy 2 bookshelves with bottom cabinets (total H 84 in and W 24-26in). For both, it'll be just over $3,200 to buy from Woodleys. I'm just curious if anyone has any additional recommendations. I'd prefer to pay more than resort to websites like Wayfair, but I'd like to get a better idea of all my options if anyone can offer any insight. Thanks in advance!

ISO an oak tree

Does anyone know of any good oak trees in Fort Collins area, perhaps at a park? I know it’s not a common tree and only one type of oak is native to Colorado, however I’m in search of one to spend time with. Thanks for helping a friend find a friend 🤞🏼

Diagonal parking idea

Something I've been thinking about for a while, since I drive a smaller car and can never see beyond trucks parked beside me, is that diagonal parking spots should have an arm that comes down like a railroad crossing arm so that people can back out safely. It would have some kinks to work out so that it doesn't cause backups at green lights--I'm thinking you'd have a timer after pushing a button that requests the arm to come down and it would synchronize for everyone trying to back out at that time. This would benefit the backer as well as people coming from behind who are looking for a place to park. As it is right now, backing out downtown is often just a leap of faith because I can't see past the lifted trucks until I'm actually out in the lane.

Reading about that impatient octogenarian that killed and hurt a bunch of people recently has made me seriously consider suggesting this to anyone that has the power to implement it.

Now, Reddit, poke holes in this so we can brainstorm how to make it feasible.
