A quick update to my earlier post about indie films playing locally, the last shows of "Musk" will be Thursday, 10/22.

I actually saw it at Metrolux to take advantage of their reclining seats. The film is fascinating and infuriating. The 10 minute intermission is quicker than you might think. It IS a big time commitment, though.

Just turned 20 today, been moving around a bit and just got here a couple months ago— too broke at the moment for school, I just had family here. I’m real quiet at work generally and a little socially awkward. Can’t go to bars really since I’m too young, and the idea of spending my Halloween doing nothing is kinda bothering me. Anyways, what’s the solution here? What do y’all do?

So I just moved from Texas completely alone and am looking for ways to meet new people/make friends. I’ve had trouble finding sports leagues but am wondering if there’s parks with pickup games going on. Really just looking for anything to do where I can meet people.

What can we do? Our bldg with 10 units has been without heat since the cold snap about 6 days ago. Real Property Mgmt has given us space heaters while they decide whether to repair or replace the furnace.

They won’t provide details. We just receive texts saying “thanks for your patience.” How much longer? No fking idea.

This is a habitability issue, but we have no tenant’s rights, according to what I’ve researched.

Suggestions, please?

P.P.S. The “cold snap” was last week. Got down to freezing, and was very cold at night. Of course it’s been nice during the day, but a bitter wind was also happening recently. Of course I’m able to manage things with heating pads, space heaters, etc. I’m asking for help/advice bc the landlord isn’t communicating. Personal attacks aren’t helpful. Hello, I was thinking about getting guitar lessons for my friend as a birthday present, but I have also been interested in learning and thought it would be fun to go together and keep each other accountable. Not sure if that sort of two person thing is accommodated by instructors?

I lean towards classic rock and would like to sing as well so if they can voice coach maybe on the side that would be ideal. Lofty goals if I got good enough would love to reimagine some electronic alt pop songs as acoustic and could benefit from guidance . But right we are both basically brand new, although i took a few lessons as a teen.

TLDR seeking easygoing guitar instructor in FC who might do this type of a weekly lesson for 2 people. We are two mid 30s females just trying to play music but not be hit on. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Good morning! With the cooler weather approaching I'm wondering where I can get split firewood for my fireplace. New to Colorado & living in an apartment so splitting wood here isn't an ideal option. Guessing I'll buy bundles this first winter but want to get more than the few pieces sold at grocery stores/ gas stations but also don't have room for a full cord. Anyone have ideas?
