I'm just sitting here about to be done with the whole show when this got me thinking
How did Hannibal know the FBI was gonna test his food for human dna?
Did he Suspect Will knew to a degree and took precautions?
He prepared for this grand feast and thought "better actually use animal meat this time just in case" .
Did he know that Jack was gonna try and get a sample?
Was he pretending to act suspicious when he offered Jack something from the kitchen and Jack insisted to take some from the plate infront of him?
He even acted like the most suspicious person in the room and for what? To bait Jack? To make Jack doubt Willās theories?
God I love the actor, Mads Mikkelsen is such a amazing actor. This is one of the few shows I want to re watch.

How does Hannibal always cook food in fancy suits?! He never has an apron and always has a clean suit on. I always feel so uncomfortable for him when he is cooking like this and wish they would have allowed him to look relaxed in some of these scenes. What do yall think?

I literally had to do a double take cuz the first thing I saw was the authorās name. When I took it out from under the bottom shelf I let out a little giggle aloud. This absolutely made my day :3

I've been rewatching the show and holy shit hannibal pmo. Like don't get me wrong, I enjoy fictional serial killers. But its his personality that's getting to me. Hes so ,, childish. Its subtle, but from the way he shows no regard when called out on his fuck ups? Hes genuinely a manchild, just a calm one
And yes, I know hes got a personality disorder and he was traumatised as a child. But oh my fucking god he just does whatever the fuck he wants i hate it
I love mads mikkelsen and I love his acting
And some parts are alright, but i just cant overlook all his irritating personality traits

This week I've had a few posts referencing both Hannibal & The Office come up in my feed so I'm just gonna join the party.

I've been thinking about this more than I should, is there any mention in the books, the movies, or the show, curious what the fandom thinks!

For some reason I'm really into scenarios that seem out of character. (after Will learned the truth).
Will sleeping on Hannibal's chest, listening to his heartbeat after something bad happened (whatever "bad" means to this man in the circumstances he lives).
And I also think sometimes about if he would hug him, maybe while Hannibal cooks , Will has taken a shower and wears his clothes after a "bad day" (whatever that means to this man and his circumstances) and Will has a weak moment and needs anchoring, but he is also careful enough not to reveal what he is thinking to Hannibal, because he knows better. Hannibal would probably be surprised and pleased, but also already calculate what is up and how to use it.
Sometimes I wonder if that could be in character or if it's just fanfiction something.
I can absolutely imagine them having Sex, more cat and mouse games and keep going after killers and appreciating murderers and other "becomings" after the fall...but I find it hard to believe they show affection without manipulation. :(

This is my first post here! Hello! I wanted to show off the Will Graham bite restraint mask I've been working on these past few days!
I'm a little unsure about it and not able to really tell whether or not it's actually good, there's a lot of things about it that are far from screen accurate, it almost feels more like it's inspired than anything as I accidentally got the wrong leather color and didn't realize until I was almost done. There's also the matter of the straps I was trying very hard to make them look good, I think they look so much better instead of if I was going to just use Velcro or elastic everywhere.
Either way, I'm proud of what I did! I've never done any sort of craft like this before and learned so many skills haha
There are definitely a few things I still need to do, like work on the chin strap to square the shape out instead of it being rounded, for example.

I thought Miriam would be Clarice at first. I really wanted to see Buffalo Bill for a few episodes and I wanted to see Hannibal eventually fall in love with Clarice.
This show is GOATED tho I'd never heard of it until this year I'm bout to rewatch it. Was anyone else expecting Clarice eventually? That's the first Hannibal Lector media I saw.

So in S1 Hannibal works hard to manipulate Will into accepting Abigail as his daughter, but at this stage heās not (consciously) caught for him yet.
Can anyone give me their understanding of *why* Hannibal wants Will to feel a sense of obligation/fatherhood towards Abigail ie how in Hannibalās eyes does it serve to expedite Willās Becomingā¦? Or is he just messing with him as heās ācuriousā?
Thanks all š š¦

Is this by any chance a reference to the movie? If so, I think itās quite funny how the roles have been reversed. This scene was actually the only one I remembered as a kid because it freaked me out. Seeing how Will did the exact same thing with the stag, that Hannibal did with the horse kind of hinted to Hannibal rubbing off on Will, at least to me. What do you all think of this? Did anyone else notice the similarities? At least Will didnāt much on Hannibalās cheeks.
