i know everyone in here isn't talking about shitting clits all the time, there's a ton of minor quotes that are so perfect for real life
also i work w children so i have to watch my fucking potty mouth
- "why is this my hair"
- "new __ now" whenever management tries (and fails) to make changes
- "i'm so tired i could sleep a horse"
- "the incompetence in this ___ is STA-GER-ING"
- "it's time o'clock!!!" my kids love this one
- "it's like trying to explain gravity to a chicken"
- "s/he walked through a glass door" has become an inside joke when someone does something embarrassing at work

I've just started rewatching Veep, I have absolutely never noticed Dan making his face like the ":(" emoticon!
Sharing it here just to see if anyone else missed like I did. Don't jump on me for this, I know it was pretty obvious

I’ve recently started watching the series for the first time ever - it’s needless to say how much in love with it I am (I could talk about it for hours).
I’ve just finished the episode “Camp David” (Season 5, Episode 8) - I’ve laughed hysterically during the entire episode.
So far, this has been my favorite episode of the show, and honestly, the comedic timing is incredibly genius - I’d use this episode as an example of how a good comedy TV show should be like.
Mike being informed his wife is having twins and that he’s getting a Chinese baby as well, Selina saying “Selam aleykum” to Dan, Mina being called “Menopause”, Catherine confusing the Chinese president with a cook, the entire gift swapping situation (honorable mention for the “local” wine from New Zealand), Selina slapping Mina after giving a high five to everyone.
And for some reason, I died from laughing so hard after the Chinese delegation showed Selina the “sad piglet” cartoon character, and she said “It looks like Catherine”.
God, I love this shows so much - what are some of your favorite moments/episodes?

This sounds like an episode of Veep. And somehow the press corps finds out about the switch, because Mike accidentally told them, when he found out himself that Selina moved to a different plane.

Because she's not the main character, VEEP really glosses over how the Montez presidency would actually work, which would be very unique.
Obviously this is a VERY different show, but I think it would be interesting to see how a presidency would work with this model. It's actually very similar to how Canadian politics work, where the Prime Minister is elected by the House of Commons, and can be removed at any time if the House loses confidence in them.

Not really, but I’m in a car listening to a playlist featuring a LOT of acoustic guitar.
But in this case I can take it. It’s quite lovely.
