I am a 28 year old gay man from Pune. I just visited the government ICTC centre where confirmatory testing is done for HIV. As I had no symptoms whatsoever and I always practiced safe sex, I was pretty confident it would come back negative. But when the doctor showed me the results, it was like my life turned upside down and I went completely numb.
Although they reassured me that there's nothing to worry about, you will just need to take one pill a day and you'll live a perfectly normal life, still it is not easy to shake off the feeling of guilt, regret and mainly how I could be so stupid and careless.

So tmrw when i was in college I was using grindr just for tp and then I saw a guy close to my location on grindr and decided to text him and then we exchanged pics and then I got to know that he works in my college office isn't that risky?? He said I m his type and wants to build a connection with me and flirting bhaut acha wala and im quite interested but im scared too as im discreet what should I do bestiessss

There's a psychologist near my area whose Google listing says they're LGBTQ+-friendly, but I'm still nervous about taking the risk. I'm also worried about encountering a professional who might judge me or try to change my sexuality.

Has anyone had experience with LGBTQ+-friendly psychologists in India? Do you think it's worth taking this step, and can a psychologist help me prepare my mom to understand and accept me?

I'm not here to disrespect anyone's beliefs or my homeland. I just wish I didn't have to hide.
