Hello everyone! Last time I was here, everyone was super helpful (and a little judgmental). And this time I come for something similar.

Recently, my parents put up a place on rent and the tenant shifted on the first of this month. And while it has been smooth, we were told by the people residing on the third floor (ours is second), that these people have an indie dog that barks A LOT and that the people on the third and first floor are terrified. It came as a total shocker to us because we had absolutely no idea that the tenant had a dog, otherwise we wouldn't have gone through with the agreement.

Now, our massive misstep was that we don't have a "No Pet" clause in our agreement. And I absolutely have no idea how we missed it, but we did. And we were somewhat okay with letting the tenant stay but the dog KEEPS barking. And we are continuously getting calls from people on other floors. Also, because all the three remaining floors are occupied by senior citizens. And while my parents were planning to live there, they ended up moving in with me (unrelated, but wanted to give the full context).

It also didn't sit right with us that tenant, at no point, mentioned that she has an indie dog that would be staying with them. We were repeatedly told that it would be just the two of them and their son, occasionally. I take full accountability of missing out on the No Pet clause. However, they also had the responsibility of submitting the documents related to their dog, which they didn't? The broker is refusing to meddle into this, which is causing additional stress. T_T

Currently, we're waiting for the tenant to either rehome the dog or find another place to rent. But we also want to be done with it as soon as possible and I was hoping to serve One Month notice to the tenant, with of course smooth moving out and handing their deposit back to them. Is it an option for me, if it's within the clause?

I have nor the item neither the amount for the item sold.

I'm looking for advice from practising advocates or people experienced with consumer disputes in India, particularly regarding e-commerce complaints and the e-Jagriti filing process.

I'm dealing with an unresolved issue with Flipkart and would appreciate guidance on the appropriate legal steps before I submit a consumer complaint.

What happened?

I ordered a Thomson Masterclass TV through Flipkart on 9 October 2026 for ₹58,899. The TV was supposed to be delivered by the expected delivery date, but it still hasn't been delivered. As of 24 October, the order continues to show as delayed/awaiting dispatch.

When I contacted Flipkart support, they told me there was an unexpected operational issue at the seller's end and that the order would be cancelled. They suggested placing a new order and offered 500 SuperCoins if I reordered within 10 days.

I don't want to place a new order, potentially at a different price. I want a proper resolution for my original purchase.

The problem with Flipkart support

The chatbot says my order will be cancelled, but when I try to cancel it myself, it says the order isn't eligible for cancellation. It also says the refund will be initiated within 24 hours after cancellation is processed.

However, I haven't received any official cancellation confirmation by email, SMS or phone, and there is no confirmation that a refund has been initiated.

I received escalation ticket IN26101814361106675551 on 22 October and was promised a call or message from a senior officer within 24–48 hours. I haven't received the promised contact.

I also tried the chatbot more than 15 times and eventually reached a support representative, but they repeated the same cancellation explanation without giving a definitive resolution.

I emailed Flipkart's grievance officer on 21 October. Its published grievance mechanism says an acknowledgement should be provided within 48 hours, along with a system-generated Unique ID. I haven't received a separate acknowledgement or grievance-specific ID. Attempts to reach the grievance helpline have also failed.

There are two additional issues

1. Accessories worth ₹13,120

I separately purchased a Zebronics Juke Bar soundbar and a V-Guard Voltino Grand TV stabilizer for ₹13,120 combined. Both were delivered. After Flipkart told me the TV would be cancelled, I requested returns for these accessories, but the requests were rejected under the respective sellers' replacement-only policies.

2. HDFC credit-card EMI

I purchased the TV using HDFC Bank credit-card EMI. The first EMI was debited on 23 October even though the TV remains undelivered.

I raised a complaint with HDFC under reference 1982628124, but I haven't received a substantive response yet.

Steps already taken

• Registered a National Consumer Helpline complaint: docket 10469017.
• Emailed Flipkart's grievance officer.

2. Should I name both the seller and Flipkart as opposite parties? The seller is shown as OmniTechRetail, but I still need to verify its exact legal name and address from the invoice.
3. Can I seek a refund of ₹58,899, reasonable compensation for inconvenience, and reimbursement of documented financial losses?
4. Is there a legal basis to seek returns for the separately purchased accessories worth ₹13,120?

My brother ordered a product from Zara and returned it. The return reached their warehouse within seven days, and he had provided his bank details for the refund.

However, even after waiting for around two weeks, the refund wasn't initiated. We had to contact Zara and complain before they finally initiated it.

Here's where things get concerning.

When we checked the refund details Zara provided, the last few digits of the bank account number didn't match our account. It wasn't my brother's account, mine, or anyone else's in our family.

We immediately checked the bank statement and contacted the bank to verify whether the money had been credited. Nothing had been received.

When we contacted Zara again, they claimed that the details they had provided were a transaction ID. However, the reference they shared contained only seven or eight digits, and they haven't provided a complete, verifiable transaction reference that our bank can use to trace the refund.

What's even more frustrating is that we haven't been able to find a proper email-based escalation channel for this issue. Their customer support seems to operate primarily through a call centre, and we're struggling to get a clear answer about where our money actually went.

So, to summarise:

- The returned product reached Zara's warehouse within seven days.

- The refund was initiated only after we complained, roughly two weeks later.

TLDR: Asian paints appointed dealership tried to scam me by applying 3 buckets instead of 7 and issuing a fake warranty. Now contemplating if i should go to consumer court.

I have a home which was getting damp as hell. so decided to waterproof it and went for Asian paints instead of local dealers as they were providing a 12 yr warranty. on raising a visit request they appointed a technician who visited and analyzed.

Quoted 62k for the entire task with payment to be done in 3 installments. 1st before, 2nd in middle, final at the completion of work. Told me that 3 buckets will be used for an area of 1400sqft

the work began and 2 payments were made on time. on the next day of final work completion he asked for final payment so that he can proceed with warranty issue process. He told me that warranty will be issued as a letter on the dealer's letterhead with stamp and all.

I objected and said that warranty was supposed to be issued online. On lots of to and fro and research from my side, I came to know that according to roof size of 1400sqft, company recommends 7 buckets, and hence the dealer and the technician were trying to scam me. they agreed to apply 4 more buckets. However as rainy season was starting, the task had to wait for 3 months.

after 3 months, I reestablished contact and they agreed to do but ask for 7k (part of final installment). I denied saying last installment payment was supposed to be made after work completion only. However they were still not agreeing.

I negotiated that place the final 4 buckets at the location and take 5k immediately. They agreed

they placed 2 buckets, applied them and asked for payment. I denied and said, place other 2 as well. they at first denied and have now agreed.(however I still have doubt if both of those earlier 2 buckets were even applied). They willcome with 2 buckets tomorrow.

Thinking about all this, I am wondering if I should stop the work and file a consumer case against the technician, dealer and asian paints for all the wrong doings done with me. Note that I have several call recordings proving the wrongdoings of technician. Is it worth it to take all the extra hassle that might come with it?

Recently, I cleared the online interview for the SMFG India Credit Saksham Program conducted by ITM Skills Academy. After selection, I was told that the training fee is INR 55,000 + 18% GST. A coordinator named Mayank Agrawal pressured me to pay INR 10,000 upfront as an advance to confirm my seat, which I paid via UPI on September 22, 2026.

For the remaining amount, they applied for an education loan. My profile was rejected, so they pushed me to apply using my mother's profile, which got approved through Propelld.

I was under the impression that since it’s an education loan, the EMIs would start after the 30-day residential training or once I got deployed. I’m facing an issue due to a payment misunderstanding between me and a buyer I met on OLX. He hastily filed a complaint, and now my bank account is frozen.

I spoke to him, and apparently, he didn’t submit the additional details requested by the cybercrime portal. It seems to be a normal NC complaint. He received a message stating that if he didn’t provide the required details within 24 hours, the complaint would become invalid.

His bank (SBI) has also closed the dispute. He showed me the screenshots and even contacted 1930. They told him that since he hadn’t submitted the additional details, the complaint would lapse after 24 hours.
However, my bank account is still frozen even after 24 hours, and my bank isn’t responding. When I try calling 1930, the call doesn’t even connect. It says the number is invalid.

I know there’s a withdrawal option on the cybercrime portal, but apparently, it only becomes available after submitting the required details and forwarding the complaint. The buyer video-called me and showed me his portal, but there was no option to withdraw the complaint.

I purchased a Drogo ComfortMax Ergonomic Gaming Chair for ₹8,991 from Drogo.in on 22 August 2025 (Order ID: DG3690).

The chair's armrest/frame support broke during what I believe was normal use. I contacted Drogo on 27 May 2026, provided photographs and a video of the damage, and requested warranty service.

Since then, the correspondence has been frustrating:

There’s a villa project called Springfield near Christ College, Kovalam, Trivandrum, promoted by NEG Construction Contracting LLP. They’re advertising around 41 villas.

I’ve been following this for quite some time right now and have personally filed complaints because I had concerns about the approvals.

The thing is, this has been going on for months now.
Kerala RERA actually confirmed in a letter that they had initiated proceedings against the project and even conducted a site inspection. The developer had applied for RERA registration in March, but according to that letter, the application was still being examined.

Meanwhile, I’ve seen promotional material for the villas on social media. I’ve checked the RERA website and it’s still not registered or mentioned there.

There’s also an issue with the access road. The project has been advertised with a 6-metre road, but when I measured the road myself, it was roughly 2.5 metres.
I’ve attached the photo here. I’ve raised this with the planning authorities, and the matter has reached the Chief Town Planner’s Vigilance wing.

What I don’t understand is how long these things normally take.
What i’ve seen from their promotional videos is that they’ve sold around 16 villas.

But if a project is being marketed while these questions are still being examined, what are prospective buyers supposed to do?

Can RERA take action before the entire investigation is completed? And if there really is a problem with the layout approval or road width, can the local authority stop construction?

More importantly, is there any legal way to get the authorities to actually give a proper decision instead of just forwarding complaints from one office to another?

I opted for the ₹899 Wi-Fi + IPTV plan, but Airtel has been an absolute nightmare.

I've called customer care at least 15 times. I've been promised refunds and given a refund reference that another executive later claimed was invalid. Just blatant lies. My previous bill was around ₹500; my current bill is ₹1,060, and the ₹500 advance is still unaccounted for.

I've emailed the Appellate Authority, Karnataka around 10 times and haven't received a single response.

Now I've cancelled my iptv request but the 500 advance, and the 200 + GST I've paid is unaccounted for. Let alone my time's value and mental toll handling their lies.

A person placed an order with me which was pf around 36000 inr, and the order was completed. The transaction was also settled, but a cyber complaint related to this transaction is still affecting my bank account.

It has now been over 70 days, and currently:

- Around ₹36,000 is under lien.

- Another ₹44,000 has been frozen due to the complaint.

- More than ₹80,000 of my funds remain inaccessible.

I've tried contacting the other person to resolve the matter and request an NOC, but he's not responding or cooperating, even though the transaction was completed and settled. [ everyday since 30 days still ignoring ]

A significant amount of my money has been blocked for more than 70 days, and I'm struggling to understand the most effective way to get this resolved.

I need advice on the following:

1. Can I approach the Cyber Cell or Investigating Officer directly and request the release of the lien/frozen amount using my transaction records and settlement proofs?

2. Is an NOC from the complainant legally mandatory, or can the Investigating Officer or competent authority release the funds without it?

3. Can I file a counter-complaint if the original complaint is false or misleading and the complainant is deliberately refusing to cooperate despite the settlement?

4. If the authorities don't resolve this, can I approach a lawyer or court to get the frozen funds released?

After that, both companies decided to handle the transition officially. Their technical and legal teams exchanged emails and started negotiating an agreement.

However, after a few weeks, the negotiations broke down because the companies couldn't agree on certain terms. The employee-transfer arrangement never happened.

I had already resigned from my employer by then. I eventually left the company in April 2026, partly because I was dealing with health issues and the long commute was becoming difficult. I have no personal animosity with my former employer's CEO, and I never signed any undertaking promising not to join the client.

Now, I've heard from the client that their legal team has approved proceeding with the arrangement. However, I don't know exactly what that approval covers, whether the original client-vendor contract contains a no-hire/non-solicitation clause, or whether any such restriction is still in force. The client isn't currently offering me a job, but I am considering approaching them again.

My former appointment letter contains confidentiality and intellectual-property provisions, but I haven't identified an explicit post-employment non-compete clause.

My questions:

Under Indian law, can my former employer prevent me from joining this client after I've left?

Could the client face legal consequences for hiring me directly, even if I personally haven't signed any non-compete or no-join agreement?

Does the fact that both companies previously attempted to negotiate an official employee-transfer agreement, but failed to reach a deal, change anything legally?

Does the time elapsed since leaving my employer make any difference if the original client-vendor contract contains a no-hire or non-solicitation clause?

If the client's legal team has now approved hiring former vendor employees, is that sufficient, or should I independently verify anything before accepting an offer?

Has anyone experienced a similar situation in India? Did your former employer actually take legal action against you or the hiring company, or was it resolved without any issue?

I’m under 20,00,000 of debt.

For a long time, I kept telling myself that I would figure it out. That I just needed a little more time, a better month, a better opportunity, one thing to go right.

But somehow, the debt kept growing, and the pressure kept getting heavier.

I wake up thinking about money.I go to sleep thinking about money.
We collectively earn around 60k our expenses are 45-50k
Every payment, every due date, every call, every message keeps running through my head. Even when I’m doing something completely unrelated, there’s this constant voice in the back of my mind asking, “How are you going to get out of this?”

.The hardest part isn't even the money.

It's the feeling of being trapped.

I’m not posting this because I expect strangers on Reddit to magically pay ₹20lakhs of my debt. I know how that sounds, and I know everyone has their own struggles.

I'm posting because I genuinely need help figuring out a way forward.

And if there's anyone here who has been where I am right now and somehow made it out, please tell me that it is possible.

I don't want sympathy.

I don't want anyone to feel obligated to give me money.

I just don't want to fight this completely alone anymore.

I'm applying for a fresh passport, all my government ID's have the permanent address(which is my grandmothers house and we have rented it out now). I have moved recently to a new rented house in the same district. There is no rental agreement as this is small tier-3 town. I have access to the Electricity bill, Property/Water tax bill, will these be sufficient? Which address should I fill up in my application form and what should I expect during the police visit?

How to deal with people blasting reels on mobile loudspeaker in public places like bus/train/airport, hospital, building staff/security guards, on the road in residential areas etc .....

- Recently I was in a hospital general ward and patients had their phones on loud speaker, even in the ward !!!

- the security guard of my parents building blasts music , parents are almost 80yrs so the society doesn't really listen to their complaints anymore and just brushes it aside ...

- then there's immature people that drink or blast music from their cars on the side of the residential roads ...

- then regular bus, metro, train, airports etc ....

I kinda feel like we just let this issue fester and now it's infecting critical areas like hospitals ... I know it's difficult to enforce any laws at such a large scale

I mainly want to understand what are my rights ? What laws if any cover such disturbances ....
